This is a take out only pizza place located near the hotels on the southeast end of town (need a car to get to from hotels). It seems to be a local chain. The $15 large anything pizza was the Wednesday special so I gave it a try. I believe that what I got was the Antonio's Supreme. Very good! The pizza crust is thin but soft and chewy so not like a cracker crust. The sauce was good and the toppings were plentiful. Lots of sausage and pepperoni with olives, onions and CANNED mushrooms on top. So glad to find canned mushrooms! The pizza is cut into squares and every bite had toppings. This greatly exceeded my expectations for the place. Two liter bottles of Pepsi products are available. Menu also offered wings and bread sticks but did not try. A great local find that exceeds any chain pizza. read more

Driving through Springfield via I55 and were looking for a dine in pizza joint but decided to take a chance on Antonio's. Walked in and ordered and waited in parking lot. Got piping hot pizza right out of the oven and ate it in our car. EXCELLENT PIZZA!!! Had a large 1/2 veggie supreme 1/2 pepperoni and anchovies. My husband was so excited they had anchovies. Great price for specialty pizza. HIGHLY RECOMMEND even in the parking lot! ;-) read more

We get Antonio's about once every two weeks. Been going here for years. The pizza is always made the same and taste great.

Ordered for the 1st time today and I have to say it was pretty damn good! I ordered a large 2 topping pizza and cheese bread . Pizza and cheese sticks were delivered still Hot and Fresh! I actually thought their cheese sticks and pizza taste way better than papa johns or domino's. I'll definitely be ordering again! read more

Our deliver driver was great super accommodating to our order which was not correct. The people answering the phones were so rude. I am from out of town and was trying to feed my children before bed. They expected me to return this pizza and wait another hour for a corrected pizza when I could have had this one and gotten a free one tomorrow however being out of town and then not opening until 4pm that was not going to work. Again the people answering the phones where rude. However to start it all out on the wrong foot I pulled up the info for this restaurant up on google maps and all the information was correct except for the website. I didn't realize it but the website that comes up goes to a restaurant in Ohio. Of course that is something you figure out after getting the wrong pizza. read more

The wait for my pizza was so much longer than they said...over 20 minutes past when I was told it would be ready for pickup! Mediocre taste and ingredients...friendly staff just a really seemingly unorganized place. Also: does not accept bills of 50 or larger. Seriously, they made me leave and drive down to the gas station down the road to make change of a fifty dollar bill. read more

I'm done with this place. The food is mediocre at best, but it's better than chain pizza, that's for sure. What's worse is their service. It's not like I've eaten here just once and on more than one occasion my order has been wrong. Tonight was the last straw. After an hour, I still did not receive my delivery. I called and was told there was a problem with the order and they needed to remake my pizza. Ok, not a big deal, things happen, I get that. What I don't get is why didn't they contact me. Also, I've worked in the industry, the second thing you do after letting the customer know, is to take care of the customer, give them something for the trouble. Nope, nothing offered, but I was assured that my order was ready and I was the first stop, just down the road from their restaurant. Nearly another hour later, the pizza finally arrived and low and behold....they forgot my dipping sauces for an appetizer and again, nothing was offered for the my order arriving nearly 2 hours after I placed the order. I have ordered pizza regularly from this store (and previous location on Stevenson Drive) for two decades. My deliver order was mixed up with another customer's tonight, which happens. I offered to return the pizza immediately which was declined by the store even though the driver had pulled away 60 seconds earlier. I waited another 40 minutes, and was frustrated to the point I wanted my account credited for the pizza and 25% tip. ($20 total). Driver pulled up while was on hold. Pizza was lukewarm and had to be heated in the microwave. I called the store back and asked for a credit, which the assistant manager, Mike, refused even though it was the right thing to do from a customer satisfaction standpoint. During all of the back and forth after being placed on hold for long periods of time (hoping I would go away) and lied to that the assistant manager was out when he wasn't, I was told I was "not the only customer" and that he had "given [me] two free pizzas" even though I tossed the other one (pepperoni is disgusting) when I complained about the length of time to get the corrected order. I often pick up from the store which is three minutes away, but between a virus and bad weather, I opted for delivery. If the second pizza hadn't taken another 40 minutes and had not arrived lukewarm, it wouldn't have been an issue. The assistant manager, Mike accused me of "wanting free food." As he said, I'm sure "the store will do fine without my business in the future." Whatever happened to "the customer is always right" and customer satisfaction? Doing the right thing creates customer loyalty. I had a very bad experience at a high end restaurant in town one night in which I was completely ignored by staff at the bar and again at the table. My order was never submitted to the kitchen. I was a regular and could easily spend $40-$80 for a meal for one. I paid for my drink, cancelled my dinner and left. It was over a month before I returned. My server (and the restaurant staff) knew about the bad experience, and she picked up my $36 lunch even though I tried to refuse. Needless to say, I have had excellent experiences in the many times, I have eaten there since. I am an even more loyal customer than I was before the incident. In the spirit of Lent, I will be permanently giving up pizza from any of the Antonio's restaurants in town. If you set your expectations low for timelessness, customer service, and quality, you could still be disappointed. read more
