We have a shady front yard which can be a challenge to work with, and we'd hired one landscaper prior who planted so many things that didn't grow well in the shade, which Eric pointed out for us. He worked with us to find better plants for shade, all of which look *great.* Can't say enough good stuff about this company!

Unfortunately it wasn't. He said the weed killer he used is guaranteed to work and all his work is guaranteed. He didn't even clean the weed or removed it. He just left it there and came back in 2 weeks, when its time to do the lawn. We decided that we felt like he cheated us with taking our money. So we decided to cancel it with him. I was overwhelmed and hesitant about finding another roofer to fix our roof. There had been a leak…read morethat was slowly getting worse, a leak that was not fixed properly by the last roofing company a few years ago. Who could I trust?? Did we really need a new roof ?? Can anyone fix this leak?? I had several estimates, had 4 different companies come and tell me what would fix that leak. The range of remedies was vast and varied in costs. CHARLIE with ON THE SPOT was the first to come take a look. Right away I was impressed with his knowledge, he was very kind, respectful and professional. He came when he said he would, took pictures, & explained everything so that I could understand. He found the problem that the other guys didn't even mention & it made perfect sense. He is honest and that is a gift beyond measure in todays world. My Mother and I felt totally safe with him and he even encouraged us to follow thru with the other estimates I had scheduled. In the end, we hired ON THE SPOT and are so so so glad that we did. They were on time, worked quickly, were very clean and cleaned up any shred of debris from the job. They were mindful of our dogs, keeping the gates closed even when our dogs were inside. AND THE LEAK IS FIXED!!! We just had a massive drenching a few days ago AND IT DID NOT RAIN IN THE KITCHEN!! NO LEAKS!! THANK YOU CHARLIE WITH ON THE SPOT! We will be telling our friends and family and will definitely hire them again as they do home improvements as well. Knowing that you have someone that you can trust in all aspects is priceless...so glad we found ON THE SPOT

It felt like my project was managed like a game of hot potato, with no one person taking responsibility from beginning to end, but instead, by lots of people who seemingly never collaborated and also managed lots of other projects as well as evolving roles within the company. The subcontractors that they used to do my project varied wildly in terms of the quality of their work and experience. Working with On the Spot is not an experience I'll ever reflect upon with any fondness. Everyone has that friend/neighbor/realtor's nephew who had an awful experience with a contractor. Well in this case, I am that friend/neighbor/realtor's nephew and On the Spot is that contractor. Look elsewhere.

Do not hire Jason…read more My experience with him has been an absolute nightmare. I paid him thousands of dollars for bathroom renovation work, and instead of completing the job properly, I was left with thousands of dollars in additional damage and repairs. He damaged marble that cost approximately $8,000, broke a bathtub that cost about $1,200, broke tiles, and left behind thousands of dollars worth of additional repairs and corrective work. I kept making payments because I trusted that the job would be completed professionally, but instead I was left with damaged materials, unfinished work, and even more money to spend fixing everything. His reliability was just as bad. Jason and his crew would show up for a few days, disappear for several days, come back for a day, and then disappear again. This pattern kept repeating while the project dragged on far beyond what I was originally told. I feel completely taken advantage of. I trusted him with my home and paid him thousands of dollars, only to be left with damaged materials worth thousands more and a bathroom that still required major repair work. Save your money. Save yourself the stress. Find somebody else. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Jason to anyone. I am pursuing legal action to recover the money and damages I have been left with.
