The owner approached us and requested that we leave out table as it was required. We pointed out the empty tables but to avoid a scene we got up and moved to another table beside the one we were sitting at. We all thought this was UNACCEPTABLE. We asked what compensation there was for this behaviour. There was nothing on offer. I have to say we were shocked and despite sending an email to Emilianos we have not heard a word or any acknowledgement of what the great need was to remove us from our table to accommodate 4 young people. We felt very much used and abused at the attitude. IT WAS NOT BUSY IN THE RESTAURANT. We didn't know and were not made aware that they needed the table but they had no problem ousting us to a nearby table several of which were vacant at that time. I would like an apology from Emilianos for treating us as if we truly did not matter. It is great having lovely food but if you cannot be treated with dignity and respect WHAT IS THE POINT. Our friends from Spain could not believe what was happening that we had to move to accommodate four youngsters. It was an experience that none of us are likely to forget. Emiliano would do well to remember that if you have a good experience you tell approximately 2-3 others but if you have a bad experience it is anyting from 15 up. Serving mainly Italian food, the service is good, the food is great too. Went there a couple of times for Christmas nights out and they handled the busy service well. They used to do a choclate dessert which is to die for. You had to wait twenty minutes for them to make it but well worth the wait. While we waited for our food just steps away at the local pub, drinking our first of many pints of Guinness that week, we spoke to locals and learned about the town.
