Oops I said I wasn't gonna cuss. Y'all first of all get the red beans. Next get the fish and shrimp. And try whatever else you want to after that because I'm pretty sure it's gonna be amazing. I walked in the door after driving a good 50 minutes because I wanted something different than what I'm accustomed to eating on the other side of Kati and it was well worth the drive. The vibe of the spot is nice. After a long day at work, you just wanna buy your head and vibe out have a nice little Cosmo chill this is the spot for you. The young lady behind the bar was extremely nice and patient because I had no idea what was on the menu and she was more than willing to make recommendations. After getting my food, I told her how far I had driven and she told the ladies in the kitchen into my surprise, this Ashley came from the back and introduced herself. It was just nice to support a business where management takes time to just appreciate their customers. But back to these damn red beans because when I say they are bussin, they are Bussin. Anyway, you owe it to yourself to check the spot out. I hadn't written a review in a minute because none of the spots that I stopped at was delicious enough for me to just be like oh damn, I want to write a review but this spot right here yeah they did that! I'm coming back because I want some shrimp and grits. The ones I saw on the picture lol. Ceaser out!

Spectacular food ruined by an unacceptable situation. My…read morefamily and I visited Pier 36 in Richmond today. It is a place we absolutely love; the food is spectacular, and the service is usually top-notch. However, we experienced a very unpleasant situation at the end of our meal.My wife needed some fresh air, so we stepped outside for a moment while my daughter and son-in-law stayed at the table to pay the bill. As we were walking out, a staff member stopped us and asked why we were leaving so soon. In short, they accused us of trying to leave without paying, which was completely false. I confronted the employee and explained that we were just stepping out for air while the rest of our family was inside paying.Upset by the accusation, I went back inside to complain to the hostess and the person I believe was the manager. It is unacceptable for this to happen, especially at such a fabulous place that my family loves so much. Please be more careful with the staff you hire. Incidents like this can severely damage the restaurant's reputation and completely ruin a spectacular dining experience.
