Anthony's Auto Craft did what other paint shops could not pull off. The paint around the window trim on my 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello has been peeling badly (a normal occurrence with these cars). Because the window trim pieces are no longer available from the manufacturer, it was important that a repaint is done without removing the existing trim for fear of damaging them. I took the car to other paint shops that specialize in vintage Italian cars, but they would not even attempt the work. However, Anthony's was able to do the job. The resulting paint job is near flawless--as good as it can possibly get without removing the trim pieces. The matte, rubberized texture is true to the original, and there is no overspray on the surrounding rubber and glass. The car looks decades younger now. read more

This visit was damage to my daughter's car while parked getting lunch after packing her up out of her dorm. So annoying. No note left behind. Brendan has worked tirelessly to answer every question I email him in a timely manner, and I appreciate his communication. Anthony's threatened to sue me for libel and defamation based on my first one star review, so I'm updating my review to say that their workmanship was shoddy: the seams on the door and roof didn't match, the window wouldn't close properly and had to go back into the shop to be redone. I went there after being referred. Anthony's is known for doing high quality bodywork. I asked them to apply tint, do a paintless dent removal, and provide an estimate while they had my car for repairing my rear bumper. I was told to drop off the car early (8:30 AM) and I could have it back by close of business the next day. I called towards the end of the day the next day and was told the tint had not been installed. I was told the guy called in sick, the other guy was doing other cars... they wouldn't have my car ready that day, it wouldn't be ready the next day but could be ready next week. My issue is nobody bothered to call me even though my car was supposed to be ready that afternoon. Since I didn't want to be out of a car for another 4 or 5 days (it was the weekend coming up) I told them to return my car. When they gave me back my car they told me they didn't have time to wash it. The entire car was covered in tree sap. I had just washed the car the day before I dropped it off. They had obviously parked my car outside under a tree. They didn't even do an estimate for the bumper repair that I had asked for. And look at the photo of the paintless dent "repair." It looks like whomever did it was incompetent. They obviously used the wrong tools and now there are a bunch of small indentations and it looks worse and this cannot be repaired without having the panel repainted. No matter how busy they were someone should have looked at that dent "repair" and seen the quality. Based upon my experience I would not use again. read more

I had a great experience at Anthony's Auto Craft --- they provided A+ service. I took my new car to them to inquire about a small repair needed by the wheel and a tire rim after being side swiped by a delivery truck (the delivery truck took off). Tino came out to look at the car and offered to have one of their guys see what they could do. They cleaned up the tire rim and the scrape in ~15 minutes and it looks perfect. You can't even tell there was any damage. Tino did this complimentary. He said "remember us if you ever get in an accident and need body work". Extremely rude customer service. Gal in the back picked up the phone with a massive attitude, she told me she couldnt help me and nearly hung upon me. When I asked to speak with her Manager or someone who could help she transfered me to a kind lady up front in reception she got me my answers. When I told her about the rude girl I was just speaking with she asked me to please speak with her manager about it. That he wont listen to them and its a terrible problem. I was transfered to him and he asked why I was calling him and what I was trying to accomplish. While they fixed my vehicle they gave me an initial estimate of ~$8k but were some how able to drop the price by half (~$4k) once my insurance got involved even though they told me the price could not go any lower. Before bringing my car in I made sure that it would only take a week as I needed my vehicle and could have delayed bringing it in if not. I'll be taking my complaint to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. Let me start off by making a legal point, I told them I demand to see the parts replaced as provided by law, they weren't able to show me ! They gave me the run around. IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAR, YOU WILL NOT BRING IT FOR REPAIR AT ANTHONYS AUTO CRAFT! The funny thing is every negative review actually tells you the truth this place. It's all smoke and mirrors. The whole presentation with Ferraris and Lamborghinis is a very big stunt Whoever designed the place is pretty smart they used the show of Ferraris and Lamborghinis as well as a very classy showroom and nice offices to really blind you, This place is absolute trash. So many issues with this place I don't even know where to start: 1. I expressed how important this car is to me from the beginning I asked so many questions I went over so many details I continuously verified so many important points that I needed to understand and would like done. They put me with the worst salesman. PETER ROMERO gave just gave me the "yeah yeah yeah" he's a yes-man, tells you everything you want to to hear. He didn't give me a single thing I asked for: They blew me off because I thought that I didn't care enough to make a big deal. Of course the first thing you ask is turnaround time so he overshoots the time of estimated completion for months and then turns around and calls me in about three weeks and tells me the car is ready and how surprise are you ??? Very surprised since I figured something was funny. I expressed to him my most important detail was that we're supposed to have all brand new parts and all OEM parts be installed on my vehicle. I expressed that I did not want any refurbished parts because I know that the trick that body shops used when they want to save money or dupe you. The salesman Peter Romero he says oh look at us I mean just take a look around you'll see how we treat our vehicles in the table of vehicles we service and so on and so forth if Chesla didn't like us they wouldn't give us his plaque on the wall. Your vehicle looks better that when it came in!! I said yeah because it was in a collision !!! Peter says yeah well I wanted the turn around to be fast so we got it done for you like I promised but you don't seem happy, I told him of course I'm not happy you promised me all brand-new parts and after I read the agreement it says refurbished on every single part or aftermarket. He said "Tesla doesn't provide us with their parts, so we have to use what we find, but they're just as good". I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM if it takes a whole year to complete I'll wait a year, I want my car perfect and if it's not please don't touch it... Not only does the paint not match the rest of the vehicle none of the extra items I asked for were not completed, mind you, these are the items I requested to pay for... as a separate issue. I was not happy at all with the service he's offered to me was to make up for it was to give me tints on the vehicle like I wanted to do in the future. Tints he placed on the car we're not to my liking because he never asked me which number percentage I want it for the tints.. he never verified with me anything, so now I have to pay to replace it... Peter told me that he will buff and seal the car with an extra clearcoat and make it look phenomenal PETER ROMERO NEVER DID IT ! PETER ROMERO ALSO TRIED CHARGING ME FOR THE TINTS THAT HE CONVINCED ME HE WOULD DO COMPLIMENTARY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.. I don't understand why you do the job you do and can't do the one job you're supposed to do ? Peter made the receptionist call me numerous times when I asked to speak to him he was unavailable he told me. When I asked Peter what the issue was he said "yeah sorry we didn't get around to the other stuff, just too busy you know" This car means everything to me or meant everything to me as I do not want it anymore and I am thinking about selling it because of how bad of a job they did. They charged the insurance for new rims when my rims are the same, they red scuff marks on my rims are still there from the accident.. Being that I subscribe to all Tesla forums and work with other auto industry partners in undisclosed areas, I will make every Tesla owner aware and they will know not to take their business to them. Or any vehicle owner will be told not to give them their business, I will make sure I do everything in my power to make sure that they don't get another customer again. I paid hundreds in extra fees for the rental for the days that they had to keep the car to fix the issues that they promised they would I had to pay $1000 deductible that no other shop would ever charge anybody because it would be waived for taking their business and I came out completely unhappy and I hate my car. My BMW went in and the cost was double the original estimate, the car came back with footprints on the passenger seat and a poor excuse for a detail and to top it off 2 brand new jackets stolen from the trunk. Don't be fooled by the luxurious waiting room. No attempt from a $10k bill was made to resolve the 2 jackets which by the way are not expensive. It is the principle and the lack of understanding that the trust was broken. I can live with the footprints and lack of attention to detail.
