Imagine a car rental experience in which you complete paperwork online, pay online, check in…read moreonline, select a pickup time, and expect to walk in, grab the keys and go. That is 99% of my car rental experiences. That is not this experience. I did all of those things and didn't get a car until 90 minutes after my appointment time. Once the car was brought up, I was asked to go through all the same things that I had already done online. It was like I was on an alternate planet for the time I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. The people are nice but the location is horribly understaffed. Avoid.

I like this location and convenient if you have a car in the shop- however if you have a road trip and need a specific sized vehicle to fit luggage and passengers or for comfort you can be delayed min 1-2 hours. I even checked it again around midnight, and when I woke up in the morning, I had already received a confirmation for my reservation. However, just two hours before my scheduled pickup time, I received an email informing me that they had no vehicles available. They claimed they had placed me first on their waitlist. I called the location, and the person who answered said they were helping another customer and would call me back shortly. Of course, they never did. My pickup time came and went, and they didn't even bother to contact me. Hours passed, and I still received no updates whatsoever. I was completely ignored--honestly, they just ghosted me. Because of this unprofessional handling of the situation, I ended up missing an important meeting. It's honestly unbelievable. The one time I truly needed a rental car, they completely dropped the ball. If you're looking to be disappointed, this is definitely a place where you can rent a car.

I asked them to clean it and they told me that it had just been washed. I told him that that may be true, but it was filthy. They did pressure wash it for me, but when I got it home, it was still covered with the same dirt and water spots. We ended up paying for a commercial car wash to have it cleaned. I have spent a considerable amount of hard-earned money over time, and am also an "Enterprise Plus" member, for what it is worth (apparently not much). I booked a weekly reservation for a Mid-sized SUV, and used points which equated to about $17-$20 worth of discount. Upon arriving to p/u the vehicle, the manager Amber Alonzo, stated, "Oh, sorry, we are currently over-booked, and have no SUVs". I asked why the website allowed me to make a reservation, this being the case. She basically brushed it all off, making no attempt to assuage the situation, simply telling me to "Just come back another day, ok?" No, NOT OKAY!! At this point, Enterprise had already "redeemed my points", that is, subtracted them from my loyalty account, even though I had not facilitated the rental, because there were no vehicles available. So, we rescheduled the reservation (so I thought) for Friday, June 26, 2026. I was promised a pick-up at my residence shortly after 8 a.m. 9 a.m. rolled by, and still no pick-up, as well as no response from Enterprise each time I called by phone. After several hours, I went into the San Rafael office on Medway to inquire about my reservation. I was made to wait by Manager Amber, with a very terrible, bad attitude, as if I, the customer, was "inconveniencing " her. Bottom line: Still no cars available. They refused to apologize and refused to offer any concessions in order to assuage or make me whole for wasting my time, plus the stress and headache involved. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. When calling the office to fix the issue, the manager there was extremely rude by first telling me that he gave me the option of recurring and that I told him that I only wanted the car for the month. Trucks are sold out everywhere now, since its last minute, so I had to pay over double and will have to drive back to drop it off instead of a few blocks away like planned, and drive further to pick it up, all which will cost me even more. Their service department people keep hanging up on me even though I'm polite with them. They offered me nothing to compensate and left me high and dry. What kind of business can do that to their customers? Its totally absurd that they can hold you to a contract but have no obligations to follow through themselves.
