Came in for a no-chip manicure and 4 days later, multiple nails chipped. This doesn't happen at any other salon I've been to when I request a no-chip manicure. It is really unfortunate because I am out of town for an event so there is no way I can get it fixed. My nails should definitely not be chipping/lifting with a no-chip manicure after such a short time for how much we pay. They always seem to be in a rush as well which possibly is why the quality is not good.

Receipt and proof of location.

I recently took my mother here for a basic manicure on her 67th birthday. She has MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and because of her disability she is in an electric wheelchair and unfortunately does not get to go out and enjoy simple pleasures such as manicures as much as she use to. I live in New York City and do not get to see her as often as I would like so this was a very special occasion for us and we were excited to celebrate her day together! Because it is hard for my mother to get around and she has to preschedule a special accessible ride for herself I only chose this salon due to its proximity to the restaurant we also went to and the shopping. Legacy Village was a good choice because it did not require us scheduling multiple rides for the day. Her disability makes it more difficult for her to get around but Despite her mobility she is Fully Functioning and Cognizant !!!!!!! The nail tech assigned to her rushed thru her manicure, took NO care whatsoever in the work, and didn't attempt to ask her of her preferences or make her feel comfortable. I picked out 1 color option and brought it over to show her but told the tech I would continue looking at other options. By the time I finished looking at other polish colors for her, he was finished. I have manicures frequently and suffer from no disability. I have never had a manicure that was done that quickly for myself so I knew that there was no possible way he had done a sufficient job in that amount of time. One of her hands does has a tendency to curl a bit but this should not have stopped him from getting the job done. This simply required him to take a little more time and hold her hand (which is completely painless for her and there is no resistance in doing so). He refused to put in the ounce of extra effort and care to properly finish the job and tried to send her off with nails that were Poorly Shaped (no real shape at all), still had very Rough and Sharp Edges, and EXTREMELY SMUDGED polish on nails and polish all over the skin as well!! on BOTH hands!! He did nothing to make sure they dried properly and instead told me to come and hold her hands and blow them as if I worked there. My mother said she did not even receive the massage that was included or soak her nails. After seeing the work and asking for them to fix the mess they made I was told I would be charged more money for them to fix and repolish. Wanting to ensure my mother had proper nails l, I ended up sitting down and doing the job myself. I refused to let these people ruin her birthday and embarrass her. I ended up Shaping out the nails myself, removing the polish and re-polishing. They were not happy about this and tried to insist I leave to go home and do this on my own time after I had already paid for the work. The woman practically tried to kick us out but seemingly didn't want to make a scene. I explained that unless they wanted to issue me a refund I was not leaving until we were happy with her nails and since they refused to correct it (and refused a refund) I took it upon myself to get the job done. I refused to let my mother leave the salon looking that way. It took me no time at all to do what he should have done to begin. Regardless of her disability you are providing a service and if the customer is not happy or satisfied with the service then it is your job to make sure they are. Take pride in your work as it is a reflection of the business as a whole. I have no idea how that man could have felt in good conscious that he had completed the job as described. Clearly he cares nothing about the job or the customers.. just making the money. They should be ABSOLUTELY ASHAMED of themselves for the blatant discrimination and lack of respect and compassion. Despite all of this I was still even nice enough to leave him a very small tip and remained calm while speaking with them. His work would have been rewarded even further had he actual done his job but he did not even do the bare minimum. I send my blessing to them. I pray that they or their loved ones never have to experience this type of treatment. Not even a blind person would have been happy with the disgrace he tried to pass off as a "manicure". I am mortified and utterly disgusted that they would embarrass and discriminate against a disabled women of color (on her birthday) in this way. I will never return to this salon and will be putting in a report to Legacy Village as well as the state of Ohio and the BBB. ( I did not think to take a picture of his work at the time but wish I had done so .. my only priority was making sure my mother was happy and getting that mess cleaned off of her as quickly as possible. I did not want to cause a scene and embarrass her even further or make her feel shamed. It's hard enough going thru life with a disability she has had for almost 40 years and the struggles that come with it. I do however have the receipt. 08/29/2023 around 1:30 pm)

I came here with a friend of mine after lunch. My friend regularly gets her nails done at this salon and has a nail tech she regularly works with. I haven't gotten my nails done at a salon in over 4 years. So this was a real treat for me. The salon was clean, and all employees were wearing masks. Social distancing guidelines were being followed and we had our temperatures taken prior to our services. Even though we were walk-ins, my friend and I were both serviced quickly. I had a dip powder manicure and my nail tech was very thorough. My cuticles were cleaned, my nails were prepped and they look fabulous! My only thing I would request next time, is that my nails aren't dipped into the same pot that other clients have had their nails in (for sanitation reasons) If there is a way to pre portion the powder so each client has fresh powder that would be awesome!

Horrible this is right after looks like my 9 years old painted my nails

I am extremely meticulous and mentioned prior to booking that I'd prefer someone who is precise and attentive. I ended up with Sha Sha, and she was wonderful. Her station is to the right once you enter the spa. I was transferred to her chair shortly after another technician had started, and she immediately took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. I'm so glad she spent a good amount of time asking and confirming because there was miscommunication and misunderstanding from the first technician. In this transition, she even consulted with Jojo, the owner, to confirm my desired nails for today's visit. Shasha is extremely detail-oriented: checking the shape after each nail, confirming the correct color of my powder base before starting, asking about my preferred French tip thickness, and pausing every couple of nails to ensure everything met my standards. I definitely gave feedback as she was working on my nails, and she made sure to complete everything to my liking. I truly appreciated her patience, communication, and commitment to getting every detail right. I know I am high maintenance; however, I certainly made our experience together worthwhile. Thanks again, Sha Sha. FYI --They take both cash and card payments. There is a 5% discount on cash payments. If you use their ATM, there is a $2 fee. There is no added tip line when you pay with a card, so cash, Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp tip is preferred. I think all of the technicians have a QR code to scan for tips.

I had to ask someone else to turn off the water because it was about to overflow then the original girl who turned it on SPRINTED back to turn it off and was apologizing. But never asked me about the water temperature which was scalding hot and obviously steaming so I couldn't even put my feet in. Then someone who came in after me got their pedicure first and a second person that also came in after me was going to get theirs started until another employee yelled at them to do mine first instead. Then the actual pedicure wasn't great. He did not scrub my feet or even trim down my cuticles which are some of the most basic parts of a pedicure?? Definitely not with the money and will not be coming back.

My only complaint (which has nothing to do with the service itself) is that they need a better sign! Because it's on the second floor, it took us a hot minute to spot it.

I'm glad I called because they were able to match me with a master stylist a couple days later who gave me the exact cut I wanted. Holly was so wonderful, and she really listened to what I wanted. They kept telling me to tell my friends, so if you choose to go here, make sure they do not overcharge you. And double check everything they do to make sure it is correct. You can definitely expect rudeness if you visit this store. Not just him, others working here behave the same. The environment is toxic and you can feel it.
