My wife and I chose Claire for our wedding photographer in 2010 after an arduous search because of her penchant for interesting, creative and out of the box style which is what my wife wanted, not a cookie cutter approach to photography. She was very professional and yet so laid back and easy going that my wife who doesn't like being in front of a camera felt so at ease during our engagement shoot, we can't thank you enough Claire. From there Claire shot our wedding and did an outstanding job complete with a during dinner slideshow of the photos she just finished taking. The wedding party and guests alike were amazed! However what really stood out was how she handled herself when she was thrown a curveball at our new home when her flash fell into a mud puddle on our unpaved driveway. Instead of making my nervous bride even more nervous, she simply sent her assistant out immediately to go pick up a new one and continued shooting without even missing a beat. She finsihed off the wedding package with an amazing photo album that we treasure to this day! We have since used Claire for our pregnancy and newborn shoots and again she did an outstanding job capturing the natural expressions of our family. I have found Claire to go above and beyond what she needs to in order to make your experience with her as memorable as possible. I will also be trusting Claire to do our corporate photos in the very near future. Overall I have to say its refreshing to deal with someone as honest and hard working as Claire whose creativity is unmatched. This was the biggest disappointment of a business I've ever had to deal with. I booked with them to take photos of my daughters grad and had all her friends come over to purchase photos as well. Well they never showed up or answered my calls, I left messages and called and never got a response. Let's just say that I would NEVER EVER recommend this unprofessional establishment. Don't set yourself up for disappointment. Hire a real photographer, someone who knows how to keep a promise and appointment. If I could have given it less stars I would have. read more

Claire of Anthony Photo Studio shot our wedding 2 years ago. And boy, it still hurts. She is very unprofessional. We were promised 2 PROFESSIONAL photographers on the day of the wedding, but another photographer apparently quit on her on the day of the wedding, so we got her and an assistant, a 17 year old girl with no experience. We think that you can expect your photographer to have a backup plan, but no. She took no photos of our guests, no photos of any dancing, mingling, NO CANDID SHOTS at all, 2-3 decor shots tops, no bouquet toss. When we confronted her about the above issues, she blamed other vendors getting in the way, said she had no time for reception photos because she was setting up a slide show, etc, etc. Quality of her photography is also mediocre, it's a job for her, there's no spontaneity or any drive in what she does. She is also very moody person, and we experienced it first hand: she rushed through our engagement photo shoot because she did not have her coffee and it was cold. When we met with her after the wedding to discuss our concerns with the quality of the photos, she promised she would provide us with all the negatives, may be we could salvage some shots, but she never did and never replied to our emails. We purchased the most expensive package, and we left extremely disappointed. We regret hiring Claire of Anthony Photo Studio to shoot our wedding. Don't waste your money! We booked a session with Claire, we arrived and she was very unprepared. She told us we would get our photos the next week. We had to badger her for almost 3 months before we got our disc. When we opened the disc the photos were of terrible quality. They were blurry and unfocused, she used some kind of "romantic" filter which removed anything useable from the images. We contacted her immediately and requested RAW unedited images, she would not return our calls or emails. After 2 more months we wrote a review about her on facebook to try and save anyone else from wasting their money. Within minutes of the review she contacted us furious that we would write a bad review (what did she expect? she SHOULD HAVE RETURNED OUR CALLS). She didn't have any unedited copies of the photos and would not issue a refund whatsoever. We had to resort to hiring another photographer to try and photoshop them into useable images. read more
