The customer service I received was some of the absolute best I have ever received. Darian took control of the situation, apologized and immediately ordered replacement tiles. I also apologized for the confrontation based purely on some negative reviews I read. I was wrong. What I experienced was customer service way beyond my expectations. When I first discussed having my TV cabinet and coffee table with Dave redone, I told him I wanted…read moreit stained to match my new floors. He asked lighter or darker and I said lighter if possible. I didn't ask for color samples and that was a huge mistake. I take responsibility in that. Both of my pieces had nice woodgrain but too much red in the stain and I wanted Gray/brown. He seemed very nice and polite at the time. When the TV cabinet and table were delivered I was shocked to see them "stained" to look like a solid paint color. I ended up asking him to come back and redo the coffee table so I could see the woodgrain. It was an expensive table with beautiful wood. When he came he grumbled about how good it looked and told me he would rework it at cost and do a rub on my TV cabinet to give it more texture. A few weeks later he left me a VM asking me to come to the shop to approve the table, but because of being out of town I texted him asking for pictures instead. I got an abrupt text back saying DO NOT TEXT. Call or email if you want a reply. I thought this was really rude but complied and sent an email. Didn't get a response so I sent a follow up a few days later. He sent pictures in an email and scheduled a time to bring the table back. I replied to remind him to bring the glaze he said he would do on my TV cabinet. Today he came and dropped off the table. I am not thrilled with it but said it's better. His reply "It's not what you originally asked for"... Really??? What a chump. Then I asked him about the glaze he said he would do on the TV cabinet and he said he wouldn't do it and have me some clear coat to do it myself. If you use this company DO NOT leave it up to him to decide what stain to use. Be very clear of what you want and select the color yourself. I had no idea that he would use a solid stain. I was expecting a clear tinted stain where the woodgrain showed, but in a less red color. I spent $1400 and my nice furniture looks like I painted it myself. He was rude on top of all of this even though I was very polite in my requests.

From day one, Bridget has been extremely helpful with design suggestions and most of all, with recommendations to Captiva's preferred contractors. We have had a lot of work done, from removal of popcorn ceilings, to retexturing ceilings, paint entire interior, demolition of walls and built-in furniture, new improved lighting, new master bath, plus guest bath and half bath suites, and even removal of ALL flooring (tile and carpets) and installation of new 32" tiles. Every contractor was on time, professional, clean, wore masks throughout the pandemic, and simply cared about their job. We're still finalizing details like window treatments and wall decor, but our home looks and feels amazing.

Let me start out by thanking Mark and his team at Flooring Friend for doing an amazing job on the…read morethe floors and stairs in my townhouse, now that I've had a few days on them they came out better than expected. If you are looking for quality work, done in a timely manner, at a very fair price then Mark is your guy! His quotes for labor only and labor/materials/moving furniture beat the other 5 companies I brought out and the experience was night and day in comparison to other companies I have dealt with in the past. Mark is easy easy to get on the phone, his team is amazing, and despite me delaying the start by several months they were still ready to going as soon as I pulled the trigger. As with any other project price is always a consideration and without going into specific numbers I can say that by having Flooring Friend handle everything from ordering materials, moving a couple heavier pieces of furniture, and installing my LVP my savings was considerable for the quality of work and product they put in. The 20 mil panels I was considering from Floor and Decor would have cost me just under double what Mark quoted me for the same, if not lower, quality product. The price was not the only factor in my decision to contract his company but now that it is completed I've got a nice chunk of extra change to put towards bringing them back to renovate the first floor. Initially we had expected somewhere in the 3-4 day range for completion of the install but knowing that me and my large dog were staying elsewhere the team put in the extra hours and I was able to get back in the house the evening of the second day. During the actual project I interacted with his team on a few occasion and they were great, making sure to show me their updated progress to make sure that I was satisfied before they moved on to the next area. When we did our final walkthrough they went above and beyond by helping my move a couple pieces of furniture back into place so I didn't have throw them on a dolly and struggle with them myself. All of the cutting and prep was done in my garage and on my driveway so I was expecting to come home with a ton of dust to clean out of my pavers and garage but instead it had all been taken care of before the final walkthrough. Even inside the house I was hard pressed to find anything that wasn't tidy enough to be cleaned with a wipe of a towel or a quick sweep, I even cancelled my maid because there was virtually no dust anywhere in the house. I highly recommend that you call Mark if you are looking to have some work done on your home and don't want to deal with the headaches that come with so many other companies out there. They were such a pleasure to deal with that I already have Mark coming back out to check out the next project in the townhouse! He's a stand up guy, does not skimp when it comes to sending the right team for the job, and makes sure to stop by the site each day to update you on the progress.
