Mark is the representative who sold us three motorized blinds at a cost of $8000 , this was back in December 2024. One blind is faultyand has been since the beginning - stutters and makes noises. It is now June 2025 and after numerous calls ( at least a dozen or more) and appointments where they never turn up there is still an issue. They are totally not honoring a warranty or providing after sales support. Not recommended go with an alternative provider read more

The most beautiful motorized shades controlled by a hand held remote. I gave Mark, the owner, a bad review for never returning my calls. I had the wrong number. I also stopped payment on the shades, so Mark called me and asked why had I stopped his fee. Only then did I realize what was wrong. He was here today with a new remote (now carefully hidden from my grandsons, who visit this weekend). So I owe him an enormous apology. On my suggestion my mom hired Mark the owner to replace her out dated bedroom blinds with a zebra shade. Upon installation my mom called Mark to let him know that the metal bar was dragging on the floor, the shade was not measured properly and was overall to long. He told her if she wasn't happy , to call a handyman to get this fixed. I left him a message and 2 follow up emails. To date this blind has yet to be fixed and its over a month in a half later. His loss as if this was corrected she would have given him a few more new blind jobs .It's unacceptable that any client be treated in such a disrespectful manner. read more

When the bedroom blind broke and thinking that the blind possibly could be repaired, Universal Blinds and Shutters was contacted. Marc responded quickly and within a few days examined the blind and determined it was not repairable. He made great suggestions after listening to my specific needs. However, alterations were made to the condo unit after the order was placed. The blinds arrived within the time frame Marc said and the installation was seamless and clean. Unfortunately, due to changes to the base wall molding the blinds were not closing correctly. Marc assured me that he will handle this challenge and he did. Marc had the blinds adjusted to account for the wall clearance and assured correct closure. Marc was professional from day one-knowledgeable, efficient, timely, easy to deal with, and with very fair pricing for excellent service provided. I was not certain on what window treatments I wanted. They came to my house with every sample imaginable for me to choose from. After I made my decision I had my blinds in a week after my purchase date. And the install was executed to perfection. They were very careful with my walls and completely cleaned up everything after the install. They even wiped down my window sill were they put my blinds in.
