I have been trying to obtain my medical records from this office since 02/02/2026, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. Every 2-3 weeks, I have had to call to follow up on my request because no one proactively provides updates. On multiple occasions, I was told that staff did not have time to process my records. Whenever I asked to speak with the office manager or the person responsible for medical records, I was consistently told they were unavailable. I was even given a timeframe for when the provider would be out of the office and was told the office would have two weeks to complete my request. I was promised a callback regarding the status of my records, but that call never came. Instead, I had to continue reaching out myself, only to hear once again that no one was available. What makes this even more concerning is that Nevada law (NRS 629.061) and HIPAA guidelines require medical records to be provided within 30 days of a valid written request. My request has been pending for months beyond that timeframe. The lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through has been very disappointing. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase down their own medical records or be met with the same excuses every time they call. I hope this office improves its records request process and communication with patients moving forward. read more

I went today for my very first appointment as a first time mom. I want to mention that I had a miscarriage last month and was able to get pregnant with my rainbow baby the following month. Well I found this doctor because one of my friend recommended him to me. I would like to say that Dr. Ibay is not only an amazing doctor but also an amazing person, you could see that he does love doing this. The wait was a little long (which I one hundred percent understand), I did not mind waiting that long because as soon as I walked in I knew he was in good hands. The ladies at the front desk as well as the nurses were very helpful and nice. One of the nurses even offered to translate for us in Spanish as my mom and my husband don't know English that well. Dr Ibay was very professional and helpful with answering questions. I am so happy I found all of them to help me with my pregnancy journey. Also, on a side note, my mom and I found interesting but also amazing the fact that there is A LOT of baby's pictures all over the walls. They are probably baby's he has delivered or just patients that he had/has. To us that was such a sentimental thing, that's how you can tell that he cares for his patients and these babies not only as a doctor but also as a human being. The maybe 30 minutes total that I spent with the actual doctor over 6 months of pregnancy was NOT NOT NOT worth it. I heard great things about Dr. Ibay, and I was happy this was close to home so I chose him as my OBGYN. I was 9 weeks the first time I saw him and it seemed like it was going to be a good fit. This office is overbooked and suffering from staff issues. The main lady at the front desk doesn't even look at you as you sign in, I mean she is SO RUDE! Im thinking maybe she's the head of staff there and thats why they are always understaffed. Between 9 weeks and 6 months I actually saw the doctor 3 times. I had been to the office many more than that... told I didn't have an appointment that day, rescheduled due to lack of staff... once I got there and there was handwritten note on the door saying "office closed today". When I called about that they told me they were trying to call, but didn't have my phone number. ?! Find a different Doctor.... It's not worth your sanity read more

I moved here from California 3 weeks prior to my due date I was with my other Ob in Cali 10+ years I was sad to switch doctors so close to my due date on top of moving 10 hours away but after meeting Dr.Ibay I'm truly glad I did my concerns through my pregnancy were having to large of a baby being my first baby got stuck at 8lbs 12oz and also because I havnt had a baby in 8 years these concerns my other OB simply bipassed but my initial meeting Dr.Ibay went over everything without me even addressing it they got me in same day for an ultra sound to check my baby's weight and everything I ended up induced at 40 weeks 2 days being he was gonna be big and he was 9lbs 1oz but truthfully I would go through the labor all over again over the pregnancy any day lol it was the most simplest processed I've had through the entire ordeal. Dr.Ibay had to go deliver another baby via emergency csection at another hospital around the time it was for me to push but he made it back in time and for those who complain about waiting at his office I just want to remind you this is one man, one person delivering several baby's a day and night plus still seeing his patients through the day and he is still extremely humble and sweet even with prob being extremely exhausted I very much respect him and appreciated having him deliver my son he truly is an amazing doctor and if your a normal person and realize your not his only patient and can deal with a small wait then I deff recommend Dr.Ibay he's an amazing Doctor. read more

The office staff is rude and they take forever to fill out paperwork that is necessary for my insurance. I would recommend going to ANY office other then this one. If it wasn't for Dr. Ibay, i wouldn't be coming here. If i could, I would give Dr. Ibay 10 stars because he's amazing. The receptionists & staff are so RUDE!!!!! This is my first pregnancy so i'm not sure how this goes. I asked the front receptionists if they accept Culinary & UMR she said yes. I am covered through my parents. Once I get there, she tells me they don't accept dependent pregnancies & that it was my job & i should have asked. She was being incredibly rude & insensitive to the fact that this is my first pregnancy & i don't know how things work. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day but every time i've gone there since she's been the same way. Again, Dr. Ibay is an amazing doctor & is so informative & helpful with my pregnancy. So he gets 5 stars but the staff gets ONE STAR from me Things just keep getting WORSE & WORSE here. I am now 36 weeks pregnant. I called the office to fax over my breast pump script to my insurance in SEPTEMBER. I am just now finding out they put a completely different name under my prescription & that was why i didn't receive my breast pump yet. I called the office again just to let them know what happened & the nurse had me on hold for 10 minutes which never happens. I hung up & called the front & the receptionist said "she knows you're on hold but she's busy right now can i take a message". EXCUSE ME????? How long were you planning on having me on hold for, you could have easily said "She's busy right now she'll call you later". I am SOOOO unsatisfied with the way the staff has treated me during my pregnancy. Again, this is my first time doing any of this & they are so insensitive and RUDE. read more

The 2 stars on this review is mainly because of the office staff. I am new to the Vegas area and this is my first pregnancy. The doctor was highly recommended by one of family members who had 3 kids under Dr Ibays care and praised him. I live about 30 minutes away but i didn't mind it since I was under the impression I would be getting great care/services. I'm currently 5 months pregnant and I've only been able to be seen once and I've visited the office 3 times and all 3 times had an issue to deal with. The first time I was there I was apparently 30 minutes late to my appointment. I had it in my calendar (which I always make a habit of when making appointments) at 11am and when I arrived I was asked to provide my insurance information and my ID I sat down and waited about 30 minutes and then was informed that my appointment was actually at 10:30 and that they had to reschedule me. I looked to verify but I did not receive a confirmation email or reminder about my appointment details and when I let the front desk lady know she stated it was because I wasn't opted in for appointment reminders. I was never asked if I wanted to be opted in for reminders at the time of making my appointment which I originally made a month and a half prior. The second time I was there I had to provide my insurance and ID again and filled out the paperwork they gave me. The front desk lady called me up to talk about my insurance and my high deductible to come up with a payment plan. Their payment plan only states the dollar amount that needs to be paid by reaching 16, 24, and 28 weeks pregnant. At this point I am 17 weeks pregnant and the front desk lady stated I had to pay $700 to be seen that day. I did not have the $700 and was so outraged that they could just ask for this big lump some before even being seen. I attempted to look around for another doctor but either they weren't taking new patients or I had to wait another 1.5 - 2 months for an appointment. I was able to come up with the $700 to pay and be seen. The doctor was actually amazing and explained everything very thoroughly with me. I had a great experience with the actual doctor. My third appointment was today .. I am 21 weeks pregnant. The front desk lady asked for me to pay $250 before being seen. I asked why I was being asked for a payment if it's not due until I'm 24 weeks pregnant. She then stated that they have to collect payment every visit. Again I did not have the $250 at that time to pay. She provided me a copy of the payment plan and I let her know that no where on that paper did it say they needed to collect payment every visit. If that is the case why is it not mentioned in my so called payment plan and why did not specify the dollar amount I had to pay prior to me showing up. The front desk lady stated it was explained at the time we reviewed my payment plan which was BS because she was the same lady that reviewed my payment plan with me and I know for a fact that was not mentioned. I did not have a way of getting this this time and had to be rescheduled. I am literally lost for words at this point. I have worked customer service all my working life and never have I experienced anything like this. It's not even about their payment plan or the way they do their billing but it's the fact that I am never aware of anything ahead of time until I am there at the office wasting my time having to argue yet again. There is no empathy with the front desk lady and it seems ridiculous that I have to advocate for myself and my baby this hard especially at an OBGYN office. read more

The Dr office is great as well very clean and very organize. The only thing that i did not like was theres always so much patient literally like not stop patient coming in for check up. When I visited Dr. Ibay for a routine exam, I waited over 2 hours. Once I met him he was nice men who listens and makes you comfortable. I would have loved to even get a chance to have him as my ob-gyn, however, the ladies at the office made that incredibly difficult. I was supposed to do an ultra-sound, and they gave me the wrong paper. I called and even drove there to get a new one which happened to be still not matching my insurance. I called them and they hang up on me a few times or they would tell me "we'll call you back." I was inconveniencing them. Anyway, I hung up and found a new provider Dr. Bacala Heather who has an amazing staff and a reasonable wait. Plus, you can do your blood test and a few exams at her office. read more

The nurses and staff need to check theor attitudes especially lying to the patient. 2 staff, the main receptionist and the nurse that takes your blood pressure both said doctor is limited to see patients and he is on vacation. I found out the truth from the sunrise hospital labor and delivery nurse that the Doctor was present and not on vacation. A patient in alot of pain with a thrombosis prolapsed hemorrhoid already bleeding in dark purple color have to wait til 2pm to be seen by the doctor. Inconsiderate nurses and staff, they also give you attitudes. Most patients being seen are only getting their weight check, blood pressure chwck and baby's heart rate for the day. I wish they are more considerate on letting patients who really need to see the doctor, so (me)the patient don't have to stress about what i have. Do i need surgery or not? How long will it take to heal? I've read if its purple, blue and black color you need to be seen immediately to be able to get a date for surgery. I am in alot of pain, i cannot sit properly or even sleep well. read more

Maybe it was my ignorance for not knowing how an OBGYN works but I felt like the staff should've communicated this, I don't know. I never been pregnant and I never had this experience before. To make the long story short, I never got to see the doctor, so I didn't get the service I came for. It took months to get an appointment, when I first called to set up an appointment (again months prior) they told me I need to check in at 10am for the 10:30am appointment since I was a new patient. I drove 12mil and was in their parking lot at 9:30am. Now, you might wonder why I chose him. Honestly, at that time, the reviews were mixed but not too bad, so I gave it a shot. Anyway, I checked in around 9:45 and was called to fill out the new patient paperwork at 10:15. Btw, not sure if this is relevant, but there was another patient that obviously had a later appointment (because my name was the first and only name on the grid at the time when I signed up. It was like a sticker type sign-in sheet so they peel your name off after you checked in ). She was called to fill out her forms, so basically we fill out the forms at the same time, but she finished her forms quickly so she was called immediately. Tip: fill out your paperwork quickly if your a new patient because it doesn't matter. The patient who finished first will be called first regardless of your appointment! I got called at 11am, they checked my weight and height, blood pressure and stuff like that and then I was put in the doctor's office to wait since the exam room was occupied. 5 mins after, Dr.Ibay came in, shook my hand, introduced himself and left. He said that he had to go to deliver the baby. The front desk said that he would let us know if he was coming back and 2 mins after, he said he wouldn't. So the lady who checked me in asked me when I wanted to come back and I said I do not know because I took this day off to see the doctor. She asked me when are my days off and I said on weekends and she gave me their weird schedule and she nonchalantly asked me to pick a day that would work best and I told her with a straight face: I USED MY VACATION DAY TO BE HERE. And she was like, "oh, well that's what happened when you go see an OBGYN." I politely said, I changed my mind. I'll go somewhere else and left. They knew I was a new patient, it took months to get an appointment, they told me I needed to check in 30mins prior and that I can't be late....but I still didn't get to see the doctor. Wasted my vacation day, the days and weeks I waited, my gas and overall my time. Also, I wanted to make this clear, I'm not saying that the mother and the baby's lives are not important. That's not what I'm trying to imply, I simply felt that my medical issue was far less important or specifically, my time was less valuable. With their sporadic schedule, it would've been nice to let their new patients know that the doctor is on-call for delivery. You know, just a courtesy. Again, I never had this experience before, where a doctor would leave another patient and not come back. TLDR: Doctor is on-call for delivery, might not be able to see you so you regardless of how long you've waited. So it's 50/50. read more

Almost every time I come in, the blonde girl in the front thats in the corner smokes and you can see her leave to go out to smoke and comes back smelling of it. There's pregnant women here, cmon!!!! The girls up front never really help me, they barely answer the phone and I'm transfered to someone in the back right away. Like no hello how can I help you? Dr. Ibay is the best. He was my obgyn through my last two pregnancy s and delivered them both. No matter how busy it is he always takes his time and makes sure to answer all questions and concerns. He is just a really nice guy. The only negative is the wait times in the waiting room can be pretty long...for me it's worth the wait to have such an excellent doctor! If you are patient and want the best this office is for you. There is one lady who works front desk that can be rude on the phone sometimes but I could care less. He advised me and reassured me in every step of my (high-risk) pregnancy and never made me feel pressured to make any decision I wasn't comfortable with. 8 weeks later, my c-section scar is barely visable! Anthony Ibay helped me through out my first pregnancy, I was a new mom didn't know anything and he delivered my baby.. there were a bit of complications in the delivery room but it's normal. I now am pregnant with my third baby and he will be delivering my baby too. He is really informative when it comes to asking questions or you have concerns. read more

He listens to all your needs and concerns & leaves you with every question you have answered. My first time going to his office I wasn't seen until about 2 1/2 hours after my appointment time but I'm glad I was patient because he was so worth the wait. His office is pretty busy at times and even now I usually wait 30-45 mins after my appointment time to be seen but he is definitely worth the wait. On different occasions i was in the waiting room and they are all huddled around the window gossiping about things happening in the parking lot. I'm writing this review on experience from Dr's visits not the birthing experience because unfortunately I had to move out of state mid-pregnancy. But I've met with Dr.Ibay from my second month to my fifth and since the first visit he was patient every minute of the appointment. Spent extra time helping us find the gender. And genuinely makes you feel welcomed at every visit, with answering every question I could think of and giving me information I wouldn't have thought of on my own. I wish I could've stayed with him throughout but I truly appreciate his friendly staffs efforts and his.
