I ordered one of their antennas and the website said that it had a range of 75 miles. It barely picks up a 15 mile range! When I emailed and asked about an exchange, I got no response. Their website touts a prompt reply to emails. After these 2 blatant lies, I wouldn't consider anything to be truthful on their site. Next time I'll be smart and order from Amazon at least there I know I can get a refund or an exchange! This company is just awful. I bought an indoor antenna because my HOA doesn't allow outdoor antennas. The antenna didn't get me a single channel so I emailed them (3 times) asking for an authorization to return. They have not responded or even acknowledged any of my emails. First the antenna did not work for me. I tried to contact tech support multiple times. They never responded via email and no one ever answered the phone. They did send me a return authorization when I requested one. I returned the antenna and waited and waited. We put it up and could only get 13 channels and at times it drops down to picking up 6 or 7 channels. Would highly recommend not even considering this outfit to engage with. This is not a "company" but an internet scam site with paypal. Everything contained on the web site is BS, other than you can place an order and they will take your money. Once you do that the order will show ready to ship but won't ship same day, but a week or so later. When it does, the antenna is "made in China" as per the label on the unit, (not a US product as the web site would have you believe). When you install this inferior product, (Lava HD-8000), you will find that you will receive far less TV than you would be able to with rabbit ears and tin foil. Then for the return (60 days, no questions asked). Got an RMA, sent it back, tried to contact the outfit about the status of the refund, but you will never get a reply to your e-mail and they won't answer the phone or return your call. I purchased the HD8008, 4K Omni-Directional Amplified Outdoor HDTV Antenna with 35% more gain. The amplifier must be used to receive the most channels. EXTREMELY easy to install, I am using numerous splitters after the amplifier to run 4 TVs. I am getting 86 channels on all TVs. The guide on each TV is a little different because of the TV manufacturer (Panasonic, Samsung, RCA and VIzio) , as I was told by technical support it would be. Reception is unbelievably clear an ALL TVs. I reside in Fort Lauderdale and am situated between 4 broadcast towers, 2 in West Palm Beach & 2 in Miami. I would recommend this antenna to anyone. I am getting more channels than I was from Comcast cable @ $75.00 per month. I would recommend you "cut the cable". Do not listen to peoples reviews who don't know how to install an antenna & use it. Worst customer service ever!! Before purchasing the HD8008 I read all the reviews and watched all the video reviews I could find. Spent days researching because I live in an area from 40-60 miles to the closest towers. I was assured it would work, so I purchased it. When it arrived I mounted it on a free standing pole approx. 10ft from my apartment. After doing a channel search I had signals from 45 stations, actually only 8 came in. Did a channel search that same evening and picked up 8 channels. Every time I turn on the tv I have to do another channel search. I tried to contact customer service and left 4 voice mails over 3 days, then I emailed and received a reply from the "owner" that he would do every thing he could to help. Emailed back detailing the problems and never heard another word. This has now been going on for 6 weeks. I got hold of a tech. at Lava the maker and was told that my whole problem was that I couldn't use the existing cable that my Dish service had used, even though it is very explicit that I could. My experiences have been nothing but great, with Antenna Deals. I have ordered the Lava 8008 and picks up 83 channels and I live in the country with tree's all around me. I mounted mine on the roof and placed it on a 10 foot pole. I also ordered 2 DVR's for my older TV's to get the program TV guide but my other TV's did not need one cause they are smart TV's. I would recommend antenna deals to anyone, I am saving a ton of money. The programs show very good and are in HD and the antenna is Omni directional, which means no antenna turning, a plus.
