BUYER BEWARE!!!!! This online company took my money and did not provide a receipt, tracking information or anything else. Phone calls go unanswered, Text messages and emails go unanswered. Simply put this company took over $100 from me and did not provide the items. READ ALL REVIEWS PRIOR TO ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY.... I'm actually thinking about getting everyone together who has had the same issues to legally go after this company..... Companies like this make other (good) companies look bad.. read more

This company is either incompetent or just out to cheat you. I purchased an indoor antenna, it didn't work as described, I called their tech support guy who agreed it wouldn't work in my location. They told me to return it, at my expense, and I would receive a refund in "2-3 days". 16 days later No Refund and worse, they do not return call, emails, or texts. My USPS tracking receipt shows it was delivered to them, but as I've said....no response. I would strongly advise people to avoid this company. I wish I could give NO STARS. Dennis read more

RIPPED OFF!!! You do not want to buy anything from this company. We purchased an antenna on Dec. 29. They claim that you have a money back guarantee but they NEVER contact you. We called, emailed, and texted them numerous times over a 2 week period (and several times since) and have not heard a single word. Eventually we just mailed the antenna back to the return address on the package. We required a signature upon delivery which the post office got and yet after almost 2 months we still haven't received a refund. read more

BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I wish there was a -STARS review that I can leave because this compan y is deplorable!! I don't know how I missed it because I generally look at reviews, but this company's track record says it ALL. Terrible customer service!@@ Like the other customer said I had the same exact experience, they DO NOT answer emails, calls or texts. They "Say" 60 day returns but they never acknowledge the emails, calls, or texts. BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They are horrible, and I hope that they go out of business, there are so many people in business now that try hard to take care of paying customer, and these idiots keep scamming people. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! BEWARE!!! I bought the product (LAVA HD8008 Antenna), and within an hour I read very negative reviews about the company and about their customer service, or lack thereof. Admittedly, I should have read them before ordering. I then tried to cancel the order within an hour of ordering. All I could do is write an email to the company which appears to have been ignored because 4 days later I received the package. They never responded to my email. I won't open the box and will return it and have placed a hold with my credit card company. I also never received an email confirmation of my purchase (standard practice with most online sellers). Also, when I called about the cancellation, they texted me to find out what I'd like to buy, and when I sent a text saying I was returning an order... radio silence. read more

I should have looked at this business's reviews BEFORE buying one of their antennas. Luckily..I paid through PAYPAL and let paypal deal with this very fraudulent business. They would not answer the phone, return my phone calls, emails, texts, except to email me their address to ship the antenna back, that btw, never picked up 1 channel. Paypal returned my money to me, and I uploaded the shipping receipt and they are refunding me my shipping charges of 33.00. This is the type of business that gives ONLINE BUSINESSES a very bad name. I hope my review will assist others that are thinking about buying from this seller. read more

Did not ship what was ordered and instead of shipping correction or adjusting price of $26.95 for the difference they want the whole thing back. I guess I will never know if it was good or not. Five attempts to communicate with only an automated text back. Not a very sincere company. read more

If a ZERO was an option it would be too high. Received my HD-801 with half an antenna. ???? Can not get a person to talk to. Same robo response on voicemail. Same robo response on text. Even an email I sent generated the same text response from a so called Tim Watson. Has been days of this nonsense. 39.95 paid. No product. Apparently they fish their antennas from a pile of rejects and box them up for unsuspecting consumers. read more

Stay away from this horrible place...took 10+ days to receive the antenna and id only picked up 3 channels...2 of which were kids channels. Only one local channel came in. They NEVER respond to email, text or calls. I wish I would have read the reviews before buying. Now I have to spend $15.00 to ship it back!!! I have filed claim through Paypal and finally got a response saying "NO REFUND". LMAO I have contacted AMEX and disputed the charge and hope it gets handled. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHITTY PLACE read more

AntennaDeals is terrible! Do not buy. I was told after she checked my area I would get 60+ channels only got 5 and I live close to Atlanta! They will not call you back when you want to return. I did get an RMA from Lava who is the main seller but was told I had to get the refund from AntennaDeals. The received it 6 days ago and still no call or email from them. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!. Go to Frye Electronics and buy a better antenna. I spent $100 with Antenna Deals only to receive a cheap plastic antenna that looks like it would not survive a storm outside. read more

Purchased the Lava HD8008 omnidirectional antenna in January. We did not get around to hooking it up until August or September. We found that the R6 cable in the Pro pack was causing distortion. We purchased a new cable locally and that issue that resolved. However, the antenna was not picking up a couple of stations 23 miles away. So not knowing if this was an issue with the antenna or our location, we went to Lowes and got an old school style directional antenna and tried that. It worked great so we kept that one. I tried to call Antennadeals.com to ask about a potential refund or exchange but never reached a person. I left several messages but never got a call back. Then I found a form online to submit a request for a return so I filled it out. My thought was that if there was no refund, the request would be denied and I was okay with that. Instead, I received an email a couple of days later authorizing the return with instructions. I returned the antenna and the additional Pro pack at my expense. I waited to hear back from the company. After the package had been back with them for a week, I tried to call to get a status but again, no person, no return of my mesage. After emailing, I was told there was no refund since it was more than 60 days since purchase and they were not responsible for their own system that authorized the return since it was an automated system and could not read the date of purchase that the system requires one to input. The person I was emailing with got quite rude, in my opinion. I called Lava asking if they could help resolve the issue and then I received an email from the owner of Antennadeals.com asking for all the details of my purchase again. They ended up giving me another RMA to return the antenna and I had to explain that they had my antenna. After a lot of back and forth, I was told if I wanted the antenna back I would have to pay for shipping. Which I did. However, I only got back the antenna. They did not return the Pro pack. I don't even think this is my antenna I received either. Then I was contacted by another person at the company who clearly got me mixed up with another unhappy customer who had left bad reviews on 3 different sites. This person agreed to a full refund if I would update those reviews to a 3 star rating. I had to tell her several times those are not my reviews. I think she finally understands she has me mixed up with this other person since I've not heard back about my refund. At this point, I am out $154 with the purchase of the antenna and Pro pack, the cost to return as per their RMA and the cost to have it shipped back. And I think I'd rather be out this money and leave an honest account of my experience than to get a refund and leave a favorable review. Something is clearly not right here. Have you noticed how every review on their website is stelar? Every stelar review on sitejabber.com is from people who only have one review. If you are the type of person who takes the time to post a raving review about something, do you do it just once? read more

Do not trust this companies ads. Shipping in 1 to 3 days did not happen. After 12 days ZERO RESPONSE. Have called and texted the last four days in a row. Nothing but computer responses on phone and txt that state " we will get right back to you" Again I have not been able to speak to anyone. NO one has gotten back to me to let me know the status of the shipping of my order. If you check BBB reviews you will see a number of complaints from bad service to bad product reviews and to not performing on their money back promise. LAVA HD8008 Omni-Directional Amplified Outdoor Antenna I checked reviews from Amazon as well as the AntennaDeals website and had actually purchased this item direct from AntennaDeals to receive the warranty. Before purchasing this item, I checked all the other reviews on Amazon and elsewhere and thought this would be a good product so I could cut the cable. I even called AntennaDeals to check and make sure that this product would work in my attic for multiple TVs. After product arrived, we tested it in one of the rooms and received a few stations. When we placed it in the attic, it did not work at all. We contacted their technical support and was told that it would only work on the roof. It took multiple attempts on the phone and then I saw that they had a link online for returns. Customer Service called back the next day and stated that for this product to work, a DC Power Passive Splitter must be used. Needless to say, I have returned this item. There was a little black plastic part to cover the coax connection for outside that can slip off and did not feel this would be weather-proof. I went to BestBuy to check out other antennas and was informed that for our area, antennas will only work outside due to number of trees and distance to main stations. I have purchased another antenna through Amazon and will see how that goes. read more

Our antenna worked great for a week. The second week it wasn't picking any of the stronger stations, like our CBS, ABC, NBC affiliates. Isnt that the whole point of getting an antenna! Plus their "DVR" never recognized our TV. So we called their 'customer service' and she said she would have 'a technician call tomorrow." Nobody called. I called customer service back and got the tech support number. Called them, left message with my number. They never called. I attempted to have an email conversation with "Mike", the "CEO" and all he wanted to do was argue whether I actually reached out to them, rather than providing customer support. I had proof (email, phone log, text) that I did but he got quite antagonistic in this email. The only customer support he provided was to ask if the red light to our antenna was on and if we ran digital scans. I see in previous Yelpers' complaints that they were also told they needed a power pass splitter. "Mike" said "We do not sale powered splitters, never have. I do not know why you would need a splitter anyhow." When I asked for a refund for the nonworking antenna based on the 60 day money back guarantee. He said "We do not support those who do not try to work with us." I don't know what more I could have done outside of calling, emailing and texting about our nonworking antenna. He did not like the 1 star reviews I gave him. And that really is the only reason AntennaDeals.com even reached out to me. Because I gave them 1 star reviews. You would be better off finding a local business that sells antennas. That way if there are issues you know where they are located. read more

I purchased the Lava HD8008 a couple of years ago. I did get it to work but had problems. I now realize that there is a specific power source and power adapter that is for this antenna and this antenna only. I did not ever receive them. So like many others, I have attempted to contact this company to order parts. At least 5 emails, numerous texts and phone calls. Their website says 2 hour reply. It's been 2 weeks and have not heard a word. The antenna does work, but the company does not!! I would recommend buying from someone or somewhere else where you can actually get a body on the phone if you need help, or can order parts. read more

Same as all other reviews and same wish that I had read this first. Have not been able to get a refund yet. Finally found the page where I can ask for an RMA from the Lava company, which is not AntennaDeals.com. I've informed them that antennadeals.com should not sell for them as their customer service is horrible. I finally wrote one last letter to AntennaDeals and got a response that said "Report, we are not members or care about them. Thanks!" I reported them to BBB anyways. We recently purchased a Lava HD 8008 4K OMNI Directional Amplified Outdoor Antenna to replace a 15 year old HD antenna. We had great customer support and technical support getting it installed and once we re-scanned our television we found over 70 channels very clear and bold and all our local channels. We are not in town, so Air channels work for us as there is no cable in our area either. Thank you Antennadeals for being so helpful. read more

Incorrect Product Shipped/Horrible Customer Service/Refusal to Respond to Communication Attempts I ordered an item from them on July 12, 2017. On July 17, 2017, I finally received a package from them. It was not only the wrong item, but it was damaged. After several attempts to communicate with them, I finally talked with a supposed customer service rep whom told me that he would have the correct item, the item I ordered, sent out to me via express shipping. As of today's date, July 20, 2017, I still have not gotten so much as a confirmation email pertaining to the new, correct item being shipped. After several more attempts, SEVERAL more attempts to contact them, I have yet to be able to talk to anyone and have gotten no response from them in any way, not via text msg, not via email and not via a return phone call. This company needs to be shut down and I mean shut down completely and right now. I have contacted PayPal to open a dispute and get my money back. Please do not do business with this outfit. I have been trying to get a refund since November 2018 for a returned antenna. The antenna did not work as stated on the web site. This all transpired under the 60-day money back guarantee. To this day (Jan/2019) I have not received a refund for the $144.90 charge on my PayPal account. I have called and email for a status on my return, but never received replys on my calls or e-mails. I even have PayPal involve for a resolution with no luck. This antenna is sub-par and antennadeals overstates its performance. I could not get anyone and had to email them. The antenna was defective and poor quality and they want me to pay the freight back.
