Strongly Not Recommended. E3 appears to be primarily profit-driven, focused more on generic…read morehomework help than the meaningful, individualized academic support our family was seeking. We paid $500 per child for intake assessments, only to discover there was no immediate availability for actual instruction. Months later, when a teacher was finally assigned, we were told she was not the right fit and lacked expertise in the area our child needed most--ELA. Their communication was inconsistent, their promises misleading, and overall, the experience felt transactional rather than student-centered. Despite the polished sales pitch, our experience reflected a lack of professionalism, accountability, and genuine concern for our child's education. Be wary of vague assurances and shifting explanations--they always seemed to have an excuse but never a real solution. Ultimately, we found a far better alternative--a certified teacher at a local elementary school who specializes in ELA and comes to our home for a quarter of the $150 per hour E3 charges. Since working with her, our son has made tremendous progress and grown by leaps and bounds in his ELA skills. Save your time, money, and frustration--look elsewhere for real, caring, and qualified support.

My daughter attends an academically rigorous local private school and when I asked what resources…read morethe support staff at the school suggested to help her tackle the various writing projects throughout her junior year, they automatically recommended e3. It's great to have a trusted ally in her corner, working with her each week to get organized and prepare for future projects. I've noticed it's helped her become less stressed as the weekend comes to a close and the school week looms and more confident. So glad we found e3!

We could not be any happier with Ms. Claudia and her team. We joined Kumon in August of 2020…read morebecause of COVID-19. It was something we had on our radar anyways but COVID really put it at the forefront. My little one is an eager learner and loves school so we were really concerned our preschooler at the time, who was on the verge of learning how to read, wasn't getting the right amount of instruction during her last few months of distance learning. As much as we enjoy working with our little one, she does much better taking instruction from "teachers" so we felt confident she would do well in this after school learning program. After 5 months of Kumon, we could not be happier. My daughter has learned and grown so much. I'm constantly amazed at how much she's learned in both math and reading. She advanced pretty quickly through each level but Ms. Claudia did an excellent job ensuring she was really ready before advancing her. At times, we repeated lessons. In the months we've attended, my daughter has advanced to what she calls the "big girl tables" which is where each child works more independently vs. the early learners table where an instructor is sitting with them the entire time. My 5-year-old was super excited to move up but got a little stage fright not having a teacher with her. To be fair, she's 5 and does still need assistance, especially with reading, but Ms. Claudia has made adjustments so my daughter remains comfortable in class. She will eventually need to move to the "big girl tables" but we appreciate Ms. Claudia being willing to compromise. Additionally, because she's advanced, the math and reading homework has become more challenging for her - to the point where she was getting a little discouraged when it came to doing her homework. Up until recently, this was never the case. We addressed these issues with Ms. Claudia and she quickly made adjustments that are working much better for us. She continues to check-in each week, which is greatly appreciated. Incentive Programs: Each visit, your child earns Kumon dollars (KD) they can use towards fun prizes. It turned out to be a fun incentive for my daugther. Saving her KD's is a life lesson in itself. My daughter was saving for the grand prize, an electric scooter ($1000KD) so after she returned from her Kumon lesson, she'd sit at our kitchen table for a good 15-20 minutes trying to add it all up and figure out how much more she needs to reach her goal. She got up to $700 KDS before her God Parents got her one for Christmas. Instead, she chose a National Geographic dinosaur dig kit ($500 KD), which has been a COMPLETE (mess!!!! - LOL) HIT! = ) She loves it and feels so proud that she earned it. She is saving up again for another National Geographic prize. If your child is struggling with distance learning or needs a little push with math or reading, I'd HIGHLY recommend Ms. Claudia and this Kumon location. We are beyond pleased with Ms. Claudia being so accessible and are thrilled with the life lessons and knowledge my daughter is gaining here. Ms. Claudia has demonstrated on multiple occasions that she does what is best for my child and doesn't try to fit everyone into one mold. Plus, she and Ms. Annie are so incredibly patient!!! My daughter just loves them.

I'm so happy I found this Kumon. When my daughter started kindergarten, her first report card…read moreshowed she was below most of her peers as far as reading. I signed her up for Kumon and she has thrived! She went from not even being able to label each letter and sound, to now ( only 6 months later) reading full books! Her last report card showed she was already approaching a first grade reading level! I tell all my friends about Kumon. The prices are very reasonable and Claudia is wonderful to work with.

My son has spent two years at High Bluff as a full time student in 9th and 10th grade. It was, and…read morecontinues to be, the best decision we could have made for his high school education! He is excelling in all of his classes (including the one's he was sure he couldn't do, like 2nd year Spanish) and just finished up his Sophomore year with straight A's and awards for his school spirit, leadership, and consistent high level of effort in all of his classes. I was blown away with the glowing description these teachers had for my son's academic performance. And to top all of that, when all of the schools got locked down due to the COVID 19 pandemic, High Bluff Academy took on the challenge QUICKLY to move to online the very next week, maintaining the rigorous academics and supportive environment you would expect and hope for. My son is very happy, feels safe, enjoys his friends at school, and especially likes the relationship he has with his teachers. As a parent, I can highly recommend this college prep school with absolutely no reservation.

If it wasn't for High Bluff Academy, I don't know what we would have done to ensure academic success for her. Our daughter will be going into her third year at HBA, and she's done extremely well the past two years. Her GPA has been 4.0 and 4.2, and her teachers and the administration have all taken an active interest in her success and well being. We're very thankful we found a place where she can excel.
