Mark, owner of Another Wire Guy, will tell you he's the best, but DONT BE FOOLED. Mark got 75-80% through the work on my house and then called me to say it would cost TWICE the original amount if I wanted them to finish. They chipped out concrete on an ENTIRE SIDE of my house and then stopped work, leaving the rebar exposed, in an apparent attempt to EXTORT me for more money. When I said no, they KEPT MY DEPOSIT that was for other work and they have since DISAPPEARED, leaving their equipment and a HUGE MESS in the yard. On top of that, they make commitments they cant keep, show up (or dont show up at all) and leave whenever they want, and dont communicate well even when they aren't hiding cause they wont give your money back. Mark is unreliable and has been on my job for over 1 1/2 months. The total job was supposed to be a 2 week job. Because he mismanaged his finances, he could not continue to work even after I gave him a check because he could not cash my check due to his delinquency on his accounts. I had to go to 2 of his banks to get it straightened out. He promises the world and doesn't deliver. There were an extreme amount of errors made with the job that he said he would fix, and after a few days, he simply never returned back. Now I have an incomplete job on my hands. During the job, he was not punctual and would not return phone calls and text messages. Lastly, because I don't want to put everything on here, he and his guys stole 10 bags of stucco that I paid for plus other small supplies from the same purchase. I've been done wrong before, just never this bad and by someone who seemed so harmless. Is he capable of doing a job well? I'm sure! But if it isn't a simple fix, I would rather pay double than to have him do it. read more

Found Mark through a yelp search for a handyman. In Miami it's so difficult to find a handyman you can trust to do a job and do it well. I needed some work done around the house, but urgently needed a new mailbox installed as ours was damaged and our mail was getting soaked. He responded very quickly and was able to come by same day. Wasn't pushy at all. Said he could give a quote and if I want the work done he could do it. Prices very reasonable. Did an excellent job with my mailbox. Very happy with the result! He explained in detail the work that would be needed to solve the problem and then submitted a detailed estimate. The work he did was excellent. He absolutely worked thru every step as he had explained it to me. When the work was done, he even returned and carefully cleaned up all paint drips and splatters - making sure all looked pristine. I contracted with Mark to resurface and paint my house after having new windows and doors installed. Part of the contract included removing and closing of one window and installation of one door. The removal of hurricane window fasteners made a mess of my house and in two windows the external concrete window sill needed to be reconstructed. Mark knows his business and was able to reconstruct the windows to perfection. Mark's quote was by far the best price and his stucco and painting was excellent.
