Everything was delicious, servers were super friendly, I hope they make their way up to Maryland! Definitely get the city grits!!

Great brunch spot addition for South Tampa. Obviously menu & food identical to other "broken egg cafes" & so nice Tampa now has one! I think some negative reviews were in first month of being opened, staff were all very attentive and quick with us and our waitress Allie was great. Also, awesome that they have call ahead seating. We got the lemon goat cheese pancakes and my husband a skillet meal, very normal brunch prices and all great food. Being from Atlanta I'm relieved that there is finally a familiar place to get high quality grits in Tampa. We live very close and plan to be back next week! read more

We had eaten at a broken egg cafe in NOLA this year. Food was fabulous and service. Here, however, the thinking process seems to be missing, along with customer service. We had used the YELP app to join the waiting list. We arrived 5 minutes early and the receptionist knew and verbally recognized we had used the Yelp app. But she said she had just sat a party of 6 so our wait would be 30 minutes While waiting for another table. That wasn't on YELP. We also had to wait in the hot sun as no room at the time. 40 minutes later, which means in actuality because the hostess failed to have the party OF 6 she readily sat down before us, wait 5 minutes before we arrived, to see if we arrived, our wait time is 80 minutes. We might as well not use the app because our wait time started when we arrived - not when we joined the waitlist. Why have the app if you ignore it? We have seen restaurants use "join the waitlist efficiently". THINK about the customers waiting in the hot sun when you know they are not happy. What else can you do? They seated parties of 2, 3, 4 and 5 people that arrived after us just fine.....which means they are not thinking. The manager wanted to know our wait when he came out to join us in the hot sun. His only thought was to defend his process and not support or give the staff independence in thinking ...such as... gee... they have been waiting a long time despite the expectations when signing up on the waitlist. Can we move a couple of tables differently? Should we offer water? That would be customer service. Worse, when we were seated, parties of 4 were seated at tables for six and anyone could see how to make room at other tables. Also, please don't blame your customers sitting, for what you consider to be long. That is an excuse and not thinking or accepting your criticism. Food was good although smaller portions than NOLA. But that was ok. Basically failed to meet expectations all around. Failed customer service. We will not go back to this location. read more

This place was good when it started, now its usually an hour plus in wait time for eggs and bacon imagine that. Download this yelp app to supposedly check in and be put on the waiting list and when u get there u find that's not true. Ur name may not appear as was the case with us. We're told they're getting that fixed. But worse than that. The wait time on the app is not reflective of thier actual wait time. Hence you'll wait more like 20 plus mins still as ppl experienced this morning even though they checked in 20 mins before. All this while seeing the rude hostess show no emotion, no customer service skills in managing the situation. She seemed to indulge in telling ppl its an hour plus wait, without any apology. Too bad was almost what she wanted to say. Once seated, our server forgot a couple things, milk/creamer, straws, our side of cream cheese. Perhaps the amount of customers will do it to u but couple that with the 45 minute wait, the rude hostess, whom i didn't get a name but wore a bunch of sea shell bracelets. All this for a 75 dollar breakfast for 4 that i paid to get that kind of experience. #NeverAgain read more

Worst service and turn over on tables. Disorganized and hostess who don't know what is going on. Also don't use the wait in line function.

Always amazing food and service! Jolee is the best. She's super sweet, helpful, accommodating and just outright a beautiful pleasant person! read more

My husband and I came here early in the morning the day after Gasparilla and we had been wanting to check it out for awhile but the wait was always crazy long. We had ordered Uber Eats from here before and it was good but lukewarm by the time it got to our place (not the fault of the restaurant at all). We sat at the bar area and Michelle was our server and she was very sweet and personable. Since it was early morning and hardly anyone was there we talked with her most of the time we were there. I ordered the salmon Benedict and I can't remember what my husband ordered but he loved it. I loved my food too and it was hot and fresh. One of the cooks had come out while we were there and we told him how much we enjoyed the food as well as letting the manager know too. We definitely plan to go back if we happen to be up super early in the morning as it gets super packed after a certain time on weekends read more

Not impressed. Have had great meals there before but yesterday had cold eggs, stale muffins and no name on the wait list that I registered,

The service is excellent. Best grits I ever tasted. The shrimp n grits is the best. Love the banana foster French toast.

The best breakfast I've had in a while the hey Lucy omelette was to die for , service was great but what made me write this yelp was a cook named Justin or josh or something , he walked by our table upon ordering our food and asked if we were doing fine , I told him I had no idea what to get . So he recommended the Lucy omelette to me. He was really engaging and knowledgeable of the menu , not to mention cute too lol. 10/10 will be back again read more

First time I've ever been. Food was amazing. Prices fair. Service was great. I am a server myself and it is hard to impress me. I was apart of a party of 8. All of our food came out at the same time and all of it was hot. Very hard to accomplish with breakfast. I was impressed. We will definitely be back. read more

Went back and found the menu completely changed. No need to drive so far now. Service was good as it was the first time but I loved the old menu. Hope they reconsider. read more

About two weeks ago, on Mother's Day, my family and I went to Another Broken Egg Café to have brunch and celebrate with my mother. The overall experience was good; the servers were really helpful and accommodating, as we were a large group, and we were not able to comfortably sit in one booth, thus they brought over an additional chair. However, the food was exquisite and well presented, but the only issue that I encountered was the extended wait time to get served probably due to a staff shortage, indeed, it took about 30-40 minutes for them to bring the food to our table; therefore, the service was really slow. Besides the long wait time, there is no other negative rating, one thing that I could recommend to the owner of the restaurant is to increase the staff number and provide more space due to the high demand, in addition to that on those holidays, it would be more profitable to the owner to extend the functioning hours. nonetheless, I would highly recommend anyone to go and have brunch there. In addition, I will definitely go back to share another meal with friends and family. read more

Excellent place for brunch the food was unbelievable, creative drink menu they were all really good. Yazmine; our server was very kind and helpful we were never left waiting and had everything we need! 12/10 would recommend we will definitely be back! read more

I've been in the hospitality industry for the past 15 years. Started as a dish washer and work myself up until I owned my own. Restaurant not the dish. I truly believe that the key to a successful business (restaurant or not) is consistency and communication. And this place has it!!! The staff is very well trained and professional! The manager Sabina stepped and spoke with me and, all I can say is wow! What a great person! Amanda & Caitlin phenomenal people! Always smiling, treating everyone with a genuine bubbly personality! Def will come back and recommend! read more

Over rated, it was fine but nothing to wait in a 45 minute line for! If you are lucky enough to find there aren't a lot of people, I would stop but otherwise find another place! read more

Hate to give this place 2 stars because the food is really good. Unfortunately the service was terrible, this is my 3rd time going and it hasn't gotten any better. I understand they were a little busy, nothing too crazy though. Control the things you can control, shouldn't have to ask the server for silverware. We ordered 2 waters and a bloody marry pitcher to start. The pitcher took 35 mins to get to us. The server blamed it on the bar when really he just completely forgot to pick it up from the bar. Then our food took another 30 mins. In total it was about 2 hours for brunch. That's an extremely long time for a breakfast spot. Need to be able to turn tables fast in hospitality. Won't be going back unless they get it together. read more

The service was great. The food left something to be desired. I came in to make an order to go. After I made an order and waited at the bar I was asked 3 times by 3 different staffers if I needed to make an order. That was nice. The ambiance is pretty nice. Would like to come back for drinks perhaps. I ordered a couple of things. The beignet biscuits were good. We enjoyed those. Unfortunately the rest of the meal was not appetizing. I've been to Louisiana and have had great Louisiana style cooking consistently. I realize this place is inspired and has its own Florida twang to it too but I don't think I am a fan. The shrimp and grits was lacking flavor that was overpowered by the garlic. To be fair the menu explicitly calls out the garlic flavoring in the description. Perhaps a garlic lover will appreciate more than we did. We had an egg and sausage bowl that was not very flavorful by comparison to authentic Louisiana flavoring. If you are looking for something with a very mild Louisiana style cooking this may work for you. I would not recommend if you are looking for the authentic taste. read more

Enjoyed our first meal here so much that we came back for a second day in a row. Blueberry goat cheese pancakes were fabulous! Coincidentally, Yazmine was our server both days, and provided great service. She helped with children's decision, and remembered our tea preferences after only one meal. We couldn't have asked for a better breakfast! read more

We have visited several locations in La and throughout Fla and have always enjoyed the food. At the new Tampa location it did not go well; the Crab Cake eggs benedict were over cooked and the abundance of garlic (6 half cloves) in my wife's Skinny Omelette egg white were totally over bearing. In addition they were out of grits. The manager (I think, didn't introduce himself) did take care of replacing the eggs benedict, but commented the amount of garlic was commonly used in the omelet. I ate there about a week ago and WOW!!! Great Service... Food was delicious. (Some would say a bit expensive, but I put this in the category of being a treat!!!) I purposefully order biscuits 'n gravy(I use this to judge as I myself make some damn good biscuits 'n gravy....) with sauage patties, eggs over medium with coffee. Well heck!!! They make better sausage gravy than I do!!! Simply delicious... Sausage patties the best I have ever had, and my eggs were cooked to perfection... Great service too. I will definitely be going back!!! read more

Went in for breakfast this morning. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great coffee and service. Reason for 3 stars instead of 5. Wanted to order pancakes. I am a vegetarian and the only pancake offered on menu has egg and breakfast meat. I asked if I can just get the pancakes with out proteins Waitress said yes and asked if I wanted 2 or 3 pancakes I said 3 since this was my entire breakfast. When I got my check I was charged $7.99 for 2 pancakes and $3.99 for the third pancake. So I paid $11.98 for 3 pancakes, no real maple syrup and tiny butter pats. I think this was excessive . If there was something of value for $11.99 I could justify it. Fresh fruit garnish, real Maple Syrup, a ramekin of butter but no just 3 pancakes on a plate. I was a hotel food and beverage director for 43 years and know about food and service. Service was great, dropped the ball on food. With competition like First Watch, KeKe cafe, Metro Diner you need to be at the top of your game when competing in this segment. read more

Only 3 stars because it took us about 30 -45minutes to get our food for a party of 5. Somewhat busy but once food arrived, it was very good! If you're not in a rush and have a pictcher of Bloody Mary to hold you over then you're good. read more

Bottomless mimosas (Pembroke Pines, Florida) was great. Their omelettes and Benedict's are always tasty

I was very disappointed with this place. I would think a breakfast place would know how to make decent eggs, but instead I was given the driest omelet I have ever had; very bland, poorly constructed, and too small for the price. I also substituted fruits for the grits, and I was given a few poorly sliced pieces of strawberries, kiwis, and raspberry, which were obviously not fresh and very bitter. The only thing I did enjoy was the English muffin, which they clearly did not make. read more

It was our first time here and we were seated immediately. After being seated we waited 10 minutes or so for our server and no one ever greeted us to take our drink order. We were going to leave but we decided to sit at the bar. As soon as we sat down we were immediately greeted and served our drinks. The bloody Mary's were delicious. The bartenders service was impeccable. He had a huge section and still managed to take the time with each customer and make them feel welcomed. I can't say enough about how great his service was. Thanks to him we will definitely be back again. read more

Really bland and also really salty. Some food items taste like literally nothing while others are drowned in salt. There's no happy medium and there doesn't seem to be many spices present at this cafe - pretty disappointing for a place that is supposedly California-Cajun fusion. Most of the entrees here are extremely heavy and too decadent. The beignets are soggy, undercooked pieces of biscuit coated in powdered sugar that's congealed from the hot oil spurting out of the beignet. Overall, it is just an extremely pretentious iHop, but with worse food at double the price. First Watch is a 5 minute drive from here and much better, in my opinion. read more

Wait times not accurate on Yelp. Was much better on No Wait app. Yelp says 0 min, walk in and it's 30 minutes. Fix your app.

Had lunch with a friend today and order the grilled chicken sandwich and was shocked how small my piece of chicken was. It was size of a tenderloin and didn't even fill half the bun. I mentioned it to our server and she did really seem to care. They also forgot the avocado that came with the sandwich. It was tasty but definitely not acceptable. read more

Food was outstanding! My family and I had a magical experience at Another Broken Egg. I would suggest this for a fine breakfast outing. But there was one problem. The portions were a little small at least for the breakfast, I don't know about dining options. For my 2 kids it was perfect but for a big man like me just wasn't enough. The service was quality and it was very kid friendly. My final thoughts are don't break another broken egg. read more
