Great place. Food is great. I've been there at least ten times. Service never fails. The waiting area is small but other than that it's a great place. read more

Wanted a breakfast meal after an overnight shift. 0720 and door is locked with employees ignoring myself and two other customers waiting to enter. Sign on door says open at 0700. I gave up and left at 0720. Poor dude in uniform and his friend still waiting outside with empty bellies when I drove away. read more

Honestly coolest part of this place for brunch is the drink menu! Awesome and fun alcoholic drink options!! Unfortunately, the wait time was reallyyyy long even for my party that was 10 and we even called ahead and still waited an hour (it was gasparilla weekend so makes sense but still). Thankfully the food was SO yummy! So many creative and delicious options and everyone in my party loved everything the got! Service was relatively fast once we were seated. Definitely will go back! read more

This place has incredible food, and the service was absolutely perfect. The wait was pretty long, despite checking in on No Wait; I think we probably waited nearly a half hour after our anticipated seating time, but then again, it was Fathers Day. The front staff was very friendly and polite. All I can say is, the meal my husband and I had was completely worth the wait. Our server, Nechelle, was full of sunshine and she took time to chat with us, despite having multiple tables. Would 10/10 go back to that location! read more

Was pleased with the quality of food and good service. I cant wait to return with my family again! Lots of unique and different menu items to choose from, including low calorie healthy options. read more

This place is definitely a great choice for good brunch/breakfast. Affordable and a good date place to go

We were visiting from out of town and had to stay in Tampa to catch a flight later in the day. We stopped for coffee and breakfast. This is a lovely little shop not super busy we were seated fast. Service was great and the customer service was amazing. They thanked us for stopping in several times. Beautiful little cafe with the cutest cups and great food. We got the cinnamon roll crunch toast breakfast and it wasn't overly sweet served with fresh fruit and 2 eggs! read more

The first time I came to this establishment was in Atlanta, GA! The ATL location is superb so of course one would assume the same at other locations but that has not been the case. I've been to the St. Pete location and it doesn't compare to ATL or the Dale Mabry location. The service here is awesome! Everyone speaks from the time you enter the building & the food--the food is amazing. I love the beignets. I love the coffee & hot chocolate. Hell I love everything but my very favorite of all is the city grits!!!! I know. Grits is questionable at some places but this grits....this grits is creamy & fulfilling. It's topped with crumpled bacon, chopped tomatoes, & chopped scallions. If you don't like any of those ingredients--just let them know and they will make it to your liking. I love this grits so much that I order it on the way to work at least 3 times a month & I even have my daughter hooked on it. She orders it without tomatoes and onions but she loves it all the same. Lastly, this is a newer location so there may be a bit of a wait. Truthfully, the food is so good and it's in a perfect location so they may always have this wait but it's totally worth it. So whenever you're in South Tampa--stop by and try them out yourself! read more

I went on my birthday. We had a reservation and they were really accommodating with us being a bit behind. The mimosas were excellent. I had fried green tomatoes that were so tasty. My waitress was the sweetest and kept checking on us, overall I loved it!! read more

Really good! Our service was great and the food was excellent. I had the black stone eggs benny and city grits, Holy blank batman!!! We had an order of the beniegts start they were pretty good as an app with my cappuccino. My husband had the Mardi Gras omelette which was super duper. We're pumped to have a breakfast/brunch place with some different options. I used the waitlist through Yelp and we VIP'd right to our table read more

We will be back. Really good food I had crawfish with potatoes and cheese, my wife had, lobster and Bree, she went crazy over it. It's a little pricey. Portions are large enough to split. We're going to try their lunch tomorrow and bring two kids. read more

Great customer service decent food good prices I would have send a 3.5 if I could have, Absolutely nothing wrong with this place can definitely better than a Denny's or village and but nothing to really brag about... My favorite part of the meal was the dishes I know I'm weird but they were cool read more

This place has exceptional service from the minute you walk through the door to the moment you leave. I was so impressed I made a point to tell the manager how friendly and on point the staff was. I had the biscuits and gravy with house made gravy and sausage and it was delicious. I know it's a breakfast joint and closes early but I wish it was open later. Sometimes I like breakfast for dinner! read more

Followed the Yelp review to this place. Was apprehensive when it was in a strip mall. Over the top hospitality and great food. The drinks were pretty awesome, too. Breakfast Old Fashioned!! read more

Ok hands down best another broken egg of all! I have been to all other another broken egg location, AAALLLLLLLL OF THEMMMM! I came here with my Army friends and they fell in love with it just like did. The service was really fast and the people super nice. The food was of the chain A++! read more

My experience here was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and so was the customer service. The food didn't take long to cook and the presentation was done well. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!! read more

Our favorite brunch place, amazing food great staff.... whether it's one of the menu staples like crab cake Benedict's or a lobster and Brie omelet, amazing sweet pancakes or waffle masterpieces or one of their seasonal creation that are only around a few months you can't go wrong with another broken egg..... just make sure you make yelp online reservations cause everyone loves This place! read more

My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here on the weekends, we like the outside seating and how it's dog friendly. I feel though that because it is so busy, they forget little things. Other than that the coffee is pretty good, and the food is amazing. The seasonal pumpkin waffles are our favorite. read more

My husband, son, and I came here to celebrate a belated Fathers Day brunch. It was a Sunday morning and packed, as expected. We waited around 30 minutes for a table, which I hate doing for breakfast, but some places are worth it. This was one of those places. I started off with an excellent Bloody Mary. It was prepared to order, which should be a given, but on a Sunday morning at a busy restaurant I more often than not find them premade and watery. For breakfast, I had the lobster and brie omelette with cheese and bacon grits. I was afraid it might be too rich, since all the flavors are pretty strong, but they balanced well and came out perfect. The service was top notch, even in the height of mayhem when every table was packed full. The manager did a table visit and the server was excellent with timing. I love finding places where there are 4 or more items on the menu I can't live without but inevitably have to choose only one. This was definitely one of those times. Overall, I can't wait to come back and make my way through the menu. read more

This place was great! The cinnamon bun French toast was amazing! I would have loved to try their alcoholic beverages, but it was a little early for me. Overall we had a great time, the restaurant was cute and super well themed. The wait staff was wonderful. read more

Tried it today, waited 10 minutes for the sever to even come to table. Then we had to wait 30 more minutes until the food came out. Good was OK, sever never came to check on us, did not refill drinks. He asked them if I wanted more. The biggest thing was it was not busy. Everyone was nice. read more

By far the best breakfast we've had in Tampa bay in a Looooong time. I had the pancake trio and it was fantastic. The bananas foster ones were to die for. My boyfriend got the Hey Lucy and the blackberry grits and he ate every bite. And the service was good, which is something that most restaurants around here struggle with. Be prepared for a lengthy wait on the weekends it totally worth it. read more

Our breakfast was awesome!! From the minute we walked in the door we felt welcome! The staff had their coffee already this morning!! The service was prompt and not rushed. Frank was our server and he was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. He even sang and danced a little at the end lmao! We loved the hand fired mugs that they serve their coffee in too. If you haven't tried this place yet you should definitely give it a shot! You won't be disappointed :) We'll definitely be returning soon!! read more

My husband and son went early this morning and let me sleep in! My son loved his pancakes, but my husband couldn't eat his sausage gravy or sausage patties. The salt was insane, he said, and the patties tasted weird. He brought me home a slice of ham and breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were so salty I ate two bites and couldn't finish. I see some have said their food lacked seasoning, but ohmylord did they love their salt today! read more

This was my first visit to a Broken Egg. We were seated immediately by the friendly hostess. That was to be the highlight of the service for our visit. At the table, our server didn't really seem interested in the job and it showed in a lack of order accuracy and timelines. As for the food (we visited at lunch), we both really enjoyed what we ordered. No problem there. The thing that will keep me from coming back is that the value just isn't there. My entree was $16, so at nearly $25 for lunch with beverage tax and tip, I could have enjoyed a more upscale experience at any number restaurants. (Pane Rustica or Ocean Prime come to mind.) Three stars because the food was excellent. Even so, I won't be back. read more

New favorite breakfast spot. I just discovered this place and the food was delicious. The wait staff was friendly and for a Sunday morning there was no lines tone seated. Can't wait to go back! read more

We found this Cafe on Yelp during our first visit to Tampa. I am so glad we decided to try it! There is a large variety of menu options on their regular menu and they have a specialty menu that they offer for a limited time and that offered an interesting French option for our morning. Their breakfast potatoes were some of the best I've ever had. read more

The pancakes are fantastic and they brought my dog a plate of whip cream because we were out celebrating his birthday

Really disappointed this morning with our server and the service. My husband and I have been coming here pretty regularly since it has opened. We always use the no wait app because of the long wait to be seated, we were happily seated right away! But it was all down hill from there, the service was very slow, somewhere along the line our order got messed up and my husband got the wrong thing. They scrambled to get him his new meal, while the server never came back to check on us. We had to get up and tell the hostess. After waiting a while for our check, we finally got it and it was ALL WRONG! Had to get the manager to fix it, waitress never came back to apologize. Very disappointed in a restaurant we really liked. =( read more

Excellent service! Enjoyed sitting at the bar and having friendly Frank wait on us! Food was delicious and had to get the city grits which had a yummy buttery taste with scallions and bacon. Cute atmosphere and feels like your in your own kitchen at home. read more

Food was great and the place is very nice. I left a %15 tip, the service was a bit slow. The only issue I have with the restaurant is the server we had which is the Spanish/middle eastern young lady changed my tip! I was very surprised and have taken proper action with my bank. Not a huge deal because it's only $10 difference but not ethical that is what bothered me. Overall, besides this incident with our server the place is a nice spot to have breakfast or brunch. read more

Had a great time here for our anniversary last week. We had brunch on a Thursday so it wasn't too busy. Our waitress was great, got our food out quickly and brought us some of their biscuit beignets on the house because we had never been before. I ordered the eggs Benedict and never having had it before was nervous but I was absolutely amazing! My hubs had the Belgian waffle which was super yummy. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices! read more

Customer service was great . Everyone is so friendly and food is awesome ! It definitely gave me a New Orleans feel. Finally south Tampa has a breakfast brunch spot close to gandy ! read more

Was not by any means wowed by the taste of the food. Orange juice was 4$ which seems to be a bit expensive and all breakfast entrees are around 11/12$. Not only was it expensive but the taste didn't justify the price. Will most likely not be coming back here. read more

Rather disaponting! The place looks nice from the outside and the food wasn't bad but the service was just not there. From the hostess bad attitud to the multiple confusions on the order: substitution of side dishes with no extra charge (dish not substituded but cherged extra). Plus the coffee would have not pass the standards at a ramdom gas station. I've had bad coffee but couldnt drink this one. A breakfast place with terrible coffee cant get more than two stars It wasnt aweful but not a good experince either and the price was rather high even after fixing the side dishes and taking off the coffee. A five minute drive will get you to First Watch that has excelelnt food and great service for about the same price read more

Amazing everything! The presentation is just as delicious as the food itself. I've never found someone that can make biscuits and gravy as good as back home and believe me or not theirs is actually BETTER! They fresh squeeze their juices which are to die for and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Parking is very limited so get there early and you won't be disappointed. read more

Omg the food here is great.....we drove 30mins and it was worth the drive!!!! I had shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had biscuits and gravy.....both two great dishes....don't leave without trying the beignets....will be back next Sunday!!!! read more
