I order food from here often and have only had great experiences. The waitstaff are all very nice and friendly and the food is always so good and fresh. One of my favorite places for great food and service. read more

Honestly wasn't impressed after a 30min wait literally nothing stuck out to me.Food was bland

Listen. So impressed. Words can't express it. PANCAKE TRIO: peach, lemon blueberry, and banana. Amazing, incredible, wonderful, delicious. You won't regret it. Crab cake Benedict: also amazing. Lobster omelette.... amazing. Yes we all shared lol. SO GOOD OMG read more

We came in before it was busy and was sat outside with other customers. Three other tables came in after us and was served, while our table was ignored. After waiting 15 minutes we just got up and left. read more

Great food & service! I definitely recommend this place if you are in the Tampa area and looking for good a brunch spot.

This was first time at ABE. Wow. I was blown away. Our server Hailey was very attentive. I came here for brunch on a Saturday for my friends birthday and ordered the shrimp and grits! This was probably the best shrimp and grits I've ever had! We asked to have to Chef Ron to come up so that we could thank him in person . I love the cute little pitchers for mimosas. read more

We at least expected the food to resemble the menu description. Unfortunately, it did not. The French that had 5 blueberries, several strawberry slices...and nothing else. The pancakes were okay but lacking in the banana and pecan topping. Shrimp and grits were okay. I only gave one star because the young lady at the bar was very apologetic and helpful. We spent too much money and It took way too long for us to get our food even though we ordered ahead online.....just for it to not be right. Complete disappointed!!! read more

Went in expecting great food considering the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Service was great, Elijah the server treated us well. The food however not as good. Quality of food was bad. Waffles tasted like your typical hotel breakfast waffle, dry, tough, flavorless. The omelette we had was bland and flavorless as well. Portions were fine but the items were overpriced for the quality. Overall food wasn't great and didn't meet the expectations we had going into the establishment. I will probably never eat here again after this. read more

Service was very great. Elijah the server met all of our needs and was very attentive. The Ambiance was alright. Now for the food review, the portions were very small, it was overpriced for the portions you receive, and the quality was very low when we had some expectations considering the reviews on this establishment. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. The waffles tasted like your typical hotel breakfast waffle, dry and flavorless. The chicken was small, and nothing special. I also ordered the Floridian Omelette that had some decent crab. The fruit bowl, or the fruit here is very flimsy and the quality is poor. I will not come here again, but there was great service here. read more

There was four of us for brunch on Sunday. We used waitlist to get in line and we still had an additional wait of 20mins from check in. Service was slow, drinks took about 15mins to get brought to the table, in fact one of our starters came to the table first. We ordered 2 orders of the crab cake Benedict and an chicken fried steak Benedict and on all 3 the eggs were over poached. One was so over boiled it was basically hard boiled. Sauces were not good either. Cocktails were not great either. Wants worth the wait nor the drive. read more

Great food... very slow service. Came in on a Saturday and the wait wasn't long at all. We used the option to get on the waitlist via the Yelp app. More places should have this! For food we ordered the shrimp and grits and the another broken egg biscuit.. so tasty and TONS of flavor in the grits. We had the cold brew for our drink and it was okay. Would have given 4 stars if we didn't have to wait 50 mins for our food and then have to ask and remind our waitress for the check. Just expected everything to be a lot faster considering there were tons of tables open and tons of staff. read more

Another place for excellent service and food . The place is usually crowded so will suggest booking via Yelp. They are always busy so book your table in advance. read more

Great experience. Waitress/bartender was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped in my selection of the Madi Gras Omelet. Food was filling and tasted very good, I do wish it had a little bit more spice but still flavorful. The Blood Orange Bourbon was made perfectly and a great brunch cocktail. read more

This place is amazing!! They were able accommodate me and my family for my birthday brunch! The waitstaff was extremely patient and flexible! The food and drinks were fabulous! This place is a must try in Tampa! Thank you for the wonderful service and food. My birthday was a success! read more

Pretty consistent wich to me is the most important when going to any restaurant, especially a place that serves breakfast. City grits are the way to go and I like the diversity of the menu. Coffee is always good and service and accommodations are always very good. read more

Overall, it's a great place for a quick breakfast spot. Looking through the menu they had a very good variety of food. I had the Cinnamon French Toast (10/10) main dish. But they side dishes with the eggs and bacon were not so good (3/10). The egg texture was not it, felt like they cook them in the oven in bulk like a hotel does and slap them bad boys on the plates. And the bacon was way overcooked. The service was great though (8.5/10). The server was very nice and polite. I wouldn't go for drinks unless you want to ball out. I could literally go to Publix right down the road and buy the same ingredients for that price. But you always have to remember Supply and Demand. read more

Food and mimosas are incredible! The staff was so nice and checked on us to make sure we enjoyed our food. Will definitely be back! 11/10 would most definitely recommend. read more

Another broken egg is located in south tampa on dale Mabry in the complex that has Tijuana flats and smash burger. Our waitress is very nice! I decided to order the crab cake Benedict with potatoes. My boyfriend decided to order the salmon eggs Benedict. The restaurant is fairly large and has a "homey" feel to it. There is a patio located outside that is pet friendly. They show the calories on the menu which is a real buzz kill. LOL This place was absolutely the best breakfast place in all of tampa hands down. Amazing!!!! Will definitely be back for a perfect hangover cure. Get the crab cake Benedict!!! read more

I'm surprised this place has such high ratings.. I will say the presentation of the food was very nice but not impressed with the food and overpriced. First off my poached eggs were over cooked and they had to replace them which took a lot of time and is another reason why I wouldn't be back. Everyone was done eating by the time my came out. Service was slow. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes but they are literally plain pancakes with chocolate chips on the top. The home fries were so dry and not sure how you mess that up. Also the entire restaurant smelled like bacon and someone who is allergic to it makes it super hard to sit and eat. Decided to sit outside even though it was pouring read more

0 stars the service sucked! The food that did come out right was meh. Jake the manager was a jerk! We watched folks come and go before we even received our food. I will never come back & I do not recommend this establishment to anyone, especially those visiting the area. read more

This is my favorite breakfast spot with great food options and of course amazing Bloody Marys. We typically come here on the weekends and there hasn't been a dish here that I haven't liked yet. Everything is very consistent and the seasonal menu options are always great to change things up and little. Lately, there has been some delay in service, not sure if it's short-staffed or maybe just a coincidence but it has been taking longer to get served and to get the food. Definitely a great spot to checkout if you haven't yet. read more

We went on Mother's Day for breakfast. We were seated immediately, they let us pick our own table and even gave me a complimentary vase for Mother's Day! I had the Cinnamon Roll French toast, which was amazing. My husband had their crawfish bowl and enjoyed his meal as well. A great experience and we plan on coming back! read more

We were greeted with excellence and our waiter was the bomb!! Yazmine was attentive, sweet, funny, and overall a great server. The food was on point. We had crab cakes, beignets, pancakes (gluten and lemon blueberry), sausages and eggs. If you visit this location, ask for Yazmine!!! She was an amazing addition to a great breakfast outing for our Anniversary weekend! read more

A very unassuming cafe but we were pleasantly surprised. The menu was top notch and the staff was exceedingly friendly. We were greeted at the door and promised a table within 5 minutes to which they delivered. We started with a half order of the biscuit beignets. While my wife was not a fan I thought they were great. Dipped in the apricot marmalade that was served alongside only enhanced my overall enjoyment of them. My wife had the traditional Eggs Benedict while I had the Hey Lucy! Omelette. We both loved our meals. Again the staff was phenomenal. While they exceeded our expectations of customer service, we could overhear interactions with other customers that were equally impressive. They were efficient (even though the place got slammed shortly after we arrived) but we never felt rushed. read more

Always great customer service when visiting here! Elijah has served us twice & is always super friendly, welcoming & patient! The food is always delicious & fresh! read more

I will say, I probably should have ordered an item with egg in it. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and they weren't up to par at all. I paid $12.00 for something I could get for $6 somewhere else. The waffle was good. Nothing special. And the chicken were just tenders that you'd get a picky kid for lunch. Nothing else to the dish... the best part was the Chipotle Honey dipping sauce. There was no finesse or anything memorable about their dish. Again, I probably played myself not getting an egg option. If I go back I'll make sure to do that. read more

0/5 stars. Food not good. Does not look fresh. I had a very unpleasant interaction with the manager at this location, his name was Greg. He wasn't friendly and really put a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the meal after trying to fix a receipt issue. He got snappy with the waitress which wasn't very professional. My waitress was wonderful though, her name was Faith. Will be back for her, great service and conversation! read more

Our waitress was efficient and sweet which saved this from a two star review. Saturday morning placed our name in yelp waitlist app at 1015- we had to be there by 1029 to Keep our spot. Seemed like an efficient system, but in fact after we checked in every single person that walked up was seated prior to our "waitlist wait" was finally done at 1055. For a Saturday you wouldn't think that is bad, but it wasn't crowded and there were tons of empty seats, especially on the patio where we requested. So my 38 week pregnant wife and I stood outside with no benches or seating for the entire wait (we had our dog.) and no updates. Basically, they have kids running this operation and someone seasoned in hospitality would certainly have noticed and offered her a seat in the shade with some water and sped up this entire process. They also were in zero rush to seat people on the waitlist - just reeeeeeeeally took their time to fill tables. Should be run better for a weekend brunch place! Menu looked awesome! Food was decent. The cold brew comes sweetened with heavy cream - they should prob tell you that before you order. read more
