I got the lunch combo chicken and waffles and my partner got omelet and side of country potatoes. They did forget his English muffins. We didn't notice until after we got done eating. Its okay. We stopped by for brunch on a recent Sunday at around 11am. The wait for an indoor table was 30-40 mins, but since outdoor seating was available immediately, we opted for the patio. It was a little warm out but was still manageable. Unfortunately, the drink menu was severely lacking right off the bat. They didn't even have basic latte or mocha options available and only had standard house blend coffee or cold brew. The food was equally disappointing. We ordered the lobster omelet and the smoked salmon Benedict. The sauce on the omelet was tasty at first but got very heavy as the meal went on. The Benedict was a huge letdown too! I knew from the menu that it didn't come with hollandaise sauce, but when the plate arrived, it looked totally bland and thrown together like a homemade meal. It is definitely not worth the $20 price tag after tax. To make matters worse, the breakfast potatoes were cooked more like small fries, which wasn't what I expect with brunch. My grandma and i went to get an early breakfast here this past sunday and they did not disappoint! immediately when we got there, we were greeted and seated. I asked if we could change from a table to a booth because my grandmother's back and they were very accommodating. out server Ethan was very pleasant and timely with his service!! we were going out for my birthday, and my grandma had tipped them off before hand (without me knowing). he brought me beignets and although it's not part of their service, our server stayed and sang happy birthday with my grandmother!! he later noticed I was gluten-free and personally apologized, but we notified him that it is OK because I planned to cheat a bit on my diet anyway!! my grandmother wanted to speak to the manager just to congratulate on how much she appreciates the service, as she did not appreciate some of her other interactions in the college town! later the manager came back and gifted me a reusable thermos cup!! the food was delicious, BUT the gluten-free option for the pancakes was even better than i expected. This place is actually one of my brunch go to's whenever I am craving a Classic Eggs Benedict. This place does get pretty busy, so make sure to come early! There is indoor seating, as well as outdoor seating and the overall ambiance is quiet and cozy. I always order the Benedict, because it is just that good, and I always order it with a side of their potatoes. The potatoes are always seasoned well and perfectly crisped every time! Came here for the first time with my wife for a breakfast date. We ordered the Biscuit and Gravy with grits (pretty delicious especially the gravy and the bacon grits), Chicken and Waffles (really delicious), and the Bourbon Street pancakes (really sweet and delicious). We ordered some coffee as well, but nothing special about it. The parking lot is large. The staff are friendly and fast. I am a terrible person to review a place like Another Broken Egg. I don't like super caloric super sweet breakfasts. I don't like getting drunk at breakfast. So out of perversity I had the bacon cheeseburger and a glass of ice water. I have had better bacon cheeseburgers - but this was good enough. I was well fed for the rest of the day. It was the right day for starting with a huge plate of something. Having a big breakfast makes the most sense when there is going to be no time for a regular lunch, a late lunch or dinner on a normal schedule. The waitlist system is annoying here. I was quoted 1 hour to an hour 20 minutes when I got on the waitlist online. Totally fine. Only when we got there an hour and 20 minutes later, while the app had us in the "15 more minutes" category, the hostess said it would still be an hour. I don't mind waiting the quoted time at all... but there's no reason you should get an initial quote and a live "waitlist status" that are BOTH over an hour off. The online waitlist status was moving slower than the initial quote so I figured it was being informed by the number of people on the list and was accurate. Again... I do not mind waiting. I get that online waitlists are soft estimates. But if it's THAT off it's basically just useless. There are many other very busy if not busier places in town with reliable wait estimates that we frequently have good experiences with. read more

This has become our go to brunch spot. The set up is pretty typical for most restaurants, with a host stand and folks waiting. I definitely recommend taking advantage of the Yelp wait line on weekends if you really want a table. The hosts vary in terms of service. Some weekends you get super friendly, most weekends it's 2 young men with one that really wants to be anywhere else, and the other clearly loves his job. Like most (if not all?) restaurants, sitting at the bar is open seating, meaning first come first serve with full service. When we first came to the restaurant, I was blown away by the number of couples just waiting at the bar w drink in hand vs actually ordering food on a weekend when the wait is upwards of 1 hour. Who does that?! I guess the secrets out now! I was also a bit surprised by how underutilized the patio space is. Tons of space for more tables and outdoor seating. The food is generally pretty decent, having tried everything from the chicken and waffles to the shrimp Benedict. From sweet to savory, it's all good. Prices are typical for most brunch places, averaging between $10-18 per plate. If you're looking for cheap, brunch ain't it...try a diner, Dennys or IHOP. Drinks are pretty standard...I mean if you've had one mimosa or Bloody Mary, you've had them all. The coffee is also decent, mainly bc the water here strips it if all it's potential flavor!
