We came here two days in a row during an Aggie game weekend. We saw so many things we wanted to try the first day that we had to come back the next. Staff is friendly, courteous, helpful, and everyone pitches in to help, whether it's with drinks behind the bar, bussing tables, or picking up dropped sugar packets off the floor. My #1 brunch destination in College Station now. All the bright windows allow so much light in, and there is a steady stream of people, letting you know how great this place is! read more

First time coming here and the breakfast was delicious. The restaurant is super clean and staff friendly. I got the lunch combo chicken and waffles and my partner got omelet and side of country potatoes. They did forget his English muffins. We didn't notice until after we got done eating. Its okay. Maybe next time we won't forget. The food was delicious. I would come back again. I would recommend this place to people. FYI Beignets are great. read more

We stopped by for brunch on a recent Sunday at around 11am. The wait for an indoor table was 30-40 mins, but since outdoor seating was available immediately, we opted for the patio. It was a little warm out but was still manageable. Unfortunately, the drink menu was severely lacking right off the bat. They didn't even have basic latte or mocha options available and only had standard house blend coffee or cold brew. The food was equally disappointing. We ordered the lobster omelet and the smoked salmon Benedict. The sauce on the omelet was tasty at first but got very heavy as the meal went on. The Benedict was a huge letdown too! I knew from the menu that it didn't come with hollandaise sauce, but when the plate arrived, it looked totally bland and thrown together like a homemade meal. It is definitely not worth the $20 price tag after tax. To make matters worse, the breakfast potatoes were cooked more like small fries, which wasn't what I expect with brunch. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and I won't be returning. read more

The atmosphere in this place is beautiful! Warm welcoming! The food was soooo good! Like i'm not exaggerating! I got chicken and waffles and it was the best thing I've gotten in awhile! Prices are well reasonable for the amount you get! Their blueberry lemonade mimosa was really good!! The workers weee super nice, fast service, and they checked in on us a good amount! I definitely recommend!! read more

Food is delicious, customer service was great and on top of everything. The atmosphere was really nice. Lots of light and plenty of space away from each table. I was a little shocked about the price, but to be honest it's only $10-$15 more than its competitors but a newer variety of foods this area isn't use to seeing. read more

I've been coming here for 4 years now since attending A&M. Every time it's been a great experience. I take family and friends here anytime they are visiting for the first time. My personal recommendation is the Apple Fritter French Toast or the Shrimp & Grits. Service is always nice and they have military discount too. Even though the line was long it move super fast and it was super easy to make reservations too. read more

the waitress was very nice and we were sat immediately. one orange juice is $5 for a small cup, so i would recommend just getting a water instead. i ordered a vegetable omelette which had onions, tomatoes and mushrooms. i think it is the perfect way to start a morning. i got a side of potatoes, which were perfectly fried, soft on inside crispy on outside. however, they were a little bit too salty. the beignets were amazing. they come with honey to dip, but it is not needed. the actual beignets were fried very well and the dough was airy and soft. read more

Our service was great & we enjoyed our food. It was very crowded and noisy and we prefer quieter & calm restaurants.

Just left the restaurant and it was great for a mid-day change of scenery from work. Sat at the bar, service was very quick. Food came out timely, waiter brought out a refill without having to ask, and Scott the GM was making his rounds to check in on customers which I appreciated! read more

I got the shrimp Benny and it was yummy and perfectly seasoned. My mom got the skinny omelette, which was kind of on the dryer side. The wait time is a little bit longer since it was a Sunday we had to be 30 minutes. So we just took a look around the boutiques around the area. Once we were seated, the service was really fast though. The server was super attentive to our needs. It is a bit louder in the inside because it is a busy restaurant. read more

This is my first time here! My first impression is this is a really cute breakfast spot but the food is alright. Ambiance: There is a louder noise level with just talking didn't hear much music. The service was mediocre. It is a smaller place but there is plenty of seating (table/chairs, booths, bar, outside). Food: I got the classic pancakes which came with eggs and your choice of protein (I chose sausage). The pancakes were good and fluffy. The scrambled eggs tasted slimy and wet. The sausage patties were small and did not taste great. Overall, they had a lot of interesting menu items. But, what really makes or breaks is the classic breakfast of the restaurant... read more

Food was great as always! However, we had Kenneth as our server and he made our visit extraordinary. It was busy more than usual and he went above and beyond his role to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you Kenneth read more

First visit with my family & amazing brunch experience! So friendly, seated quickly(4),and waitress prompt with greeting us and taking drink orders. Ordered vanilla cold brew, delicious! Son in law ordered peppermint mocha cold brew, looked just like picture and very yummy! Husband got the grits with his meal, so great! Creamy and seasoned perfectly, crispy bacon bits on top added to the savory notes and comfort! I ordered the holiday apple fritter French toast! Again an outstanding bite! Buttery, crispy and sweet! Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly to break up the rich, creamy sauce! All meals were delicious and extremely reasonable. Can't wait to come back! Highly attentive staff, glasses never empty, and was checked on by waitress, and at least 3 other staff to see if we needed anything and checking on food quality! Must visit! read more

My grandma and i went to get an early breakfast here this past sunday and they did not disappoint! immediately when we got there, we were greeted and seated. I asked if we could change from a table to a booth because my grandmother's back and they were very accommodating. out server Ethan was very pleasant and timely with his service!! we were going out for my birthday, and my grandma had tipped them off before hand (without me knowing). he brought me beignets and although it's not part of their service, our server stayed and sang happy birthday with my grandmother!! he later noticed I was gluten-free and personally apologized, but we notified him that it is OK because I planned to cheat a bit on my diet anyway!! my grandmother wanted to speak to the manager just to congratulate on how much she appreciates the service, as she did not appreciate some of her other interactions in the college town! later the manager came back and gifted me a reusable thermos cup!! the food was delicious, BUT the gluten-free option for the pancakes was even better than i expected. The were busy, but all the staff seemed to maintain a pleasant atmosphere with the guests! This was overall an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend!! read more

This place is actually one of my brunch go to's whenever I am craving a Classic Eggs Benedict. This place does get pretty busy, so make sure to come early! There is indoor seating, as well as outdoor seating and the overall ambiance is quiet and cozy. I always order the Benedict, because it is just that good, and I always order it with a side of their potatoes. The potatoes are always seasoned well and perfectly crisped every time! I always order some kind of Cold Brew coffee every time I come here, and it never disappoints! The customer service at this establishment is exceptional and they always go high and beyond to make sure that we are getting the best dining experience. I've dined here a handful of times and it has been beyond great every single time! read more

We sat at the bar because they were so busy with their Valentine's brunch service, and had the best time! The bartenders were great and attentive, and I had the BEST brunch I've ever had in my life! It's almost game time and I needed a breakfast to start my morning. I have visited several of these establishments in other states and they are known for their GREAT breakfast. Let's start with the staff. If you are from Texas then you know that hospitality means everything to us and these Big Texas Smiles made me feel right at home. I was welcomed by young man who gave me the option of the bar or table. Since I was a party of one I chose the Bar area. Before I could sit my little self in the seat the Bar Attendant greeted me and provided me a menu. Remember this is Game Day and everyone is here to support the Aggies. Within about 10-15 minutes my order was taken and I was given coffee. As I waited on my food to be delivered he made sure to check to see if there was anything else he good provide as during my wait. OMG I was not sure if I would like the combination of bananas, pecan, bourbon and pancakes . But this entree was full of flavor. The bourbon syrup was the best way to bring everything together. I was so impressed with the pancakes until I forgot about my eggs and bacon. read more

Came here for the first time with my wife for a breakfast date. We ordered the Biscuit and Gravy with grits (pretty delicious especially the gravy and the bacon grits), Chicken and Waffles (really delicious), and the Bourbon Street pancakes (really sweet and delicious). We ordered some coffee as well, but nothing special about it. The parking lot is large. The staff are friendly and fast. I forgot our waitresses name, but she was helpful and recommended all these delicious dishes. We will definitely be back with our kids and maybe checkout their lunch menu. read more

Took my son for breakfast after his A&M ring ceremony. Food was outstanding portions were big. Price was excellent for what you received.

I am a terrible person to review a place like Another Broken Egg. I don't like super caloric super sweet breakfasts. I don't like getting drunk at breakfast. So out of perversity I had the bacon cheeseburger and a glass of ice water. I have had better bacon cheeseburgers - but this was good enough. I was well fed for the rest of the day. It was the right day for starting with a huge plate of something. Having a big breakfast makes the most sense when there is going to be no time for a regular lunch, a late lunch or dinner on a normal schedule. I never got a chance to have another meal until after 8 pm. The bacon cheeseburger did me. read more

not too shabby! I'm a huge brunch person and this place wasn't too bad! I wish the portions were a little bit bigger for the price..that's where they lost a star for me Vibes were great! there's outdoor seating too Our waiter was super sweet and showed great service. The food was really good too! I got a scramble..the one with tortillas my boyfriend got the smoked salmon benedict We both really enjoyed our dish! I know A&M isn't too big to have many options but I know they have a few brunch options around. This is a place I wouldn't mind coming again to and also would recommend if you haven't tried it. read more

The waitlist system is annoying here. I was quoted 1 hour to an hour 20 minutes when I got on the waitlist online. Totally fine. Only when we got there an hour and 20 minutes later, while the app had us in the "15 more minutes" category, the hostess said it would still be an hour. I don't mind waiting the quoted time at all... but there's no reason you should get an initial quote and a live "waitlist status" that are BOTH over an hour off. The online waitlist status was moving slower than the initial quote so I figured it was being informed by the number of people on the list and was accurate. Again... I do not mind waiting. I get that online waitlists are soft estimates. But if it's THAT off it's basically just useless. There are many other very busy if not busier places in town with reliable wait estimates that we frequently have good experiences with. read more

This place is popular! Even though it was packed, the servers were friendly and efficient. Food came out very quickly and the coffee was great. We joined the waitlist online so were seated upon arrival. Waitress was super friendly and checked in on us along with two other workers aw thanks. This has become our go to brunch spot. The set up is pretty typical for most restaurants, with a host stand and folks waiting. I definitely recommend taking advantage of the Yelp wait line on weekends if you really want a table. The hosts vary in terms of service. Some weekends you get super friendly, most weekends it's 2 young men with one that really wants to be anywhere else, and the other clearly loves his job. Like most (if not all?) restaurants, sitting at the bar is open seating, meaning first come first serve with full service. When we first came to the restaurant, I was blown away by the number of couples just waiting at the bar w drink in hand vs actually ordering food on a weekend when the wait is upwards of 1 hour. Who does that?! I guess the secrets out now! I was also a bit surprised by how underutilized the patio space is. Tons of space for more tables and outdoor seating. The food is generally pretty decent, having tried everything from the chicken and waffles to the shrimp Benedict. From sweet to savory, it's all good. Prices are typical for most brunch places, averaging between $10-18 per plate. If you're looking for cheap, brunch ain't it...try a diner, Dennys or IHOP. Drinks are pretty standard...I mean if you've had one mimosa or Bloody Mary, you've had them all. The coffee is also decent, mainly bc the water here strips it if all it's potential flavor! We had the coffee upgrade in Houston but I wouldn't suggest the coffee upgrade here! read more

Service was ridiculous. Told it was 60 minutes wait and many parties seated ahead of us. Left after 90 minutes. Hard pass.

There are usually two main categories I look for when I go out to eat for breakfast: the price and taste. Just because breakfast is something that I know I can easily whip up myself most of the time. Another broken egg cafe's menu was extremely extensive and got me a bit confused on what to order. The server was not very helpful and gave us a bit of sass when we still didn't know what we had wanted to order. The place was pretty busy and there was a 10 minute wait for a table. I was a bit disappointed by the food since it was nothing new and very overpriced. Unfortunately I don't think I will be back here since the only word I can think of to describe this was average. read more
