My husband & I stopped in this morning.. it was our first time here, and definitely won't be our last! Our waitress (Tammy) was great! She was friendly & attentive. The menu has so many wonderful choices.. It's not just the typical bacon, eggs, and waffles! They put a fun spin on breakfast choices. We started with beignets which tasted amazing, especially dipped in the marmalade and I had a cranberry mimosa that tasted great. For our meals, my husband had The Supreme Omelette & I had The Floridian Omelette. Our food came out quickly, was nice & hot, and tasted very fresh. The environment was laid back and super clean. June 2020 - We came here hungover for brunch, and there was a nice mixture of sweatpants and women really dressed up with their friends. Our waitress was very patient with us and also very nice and played around with our banter. She was half the reason we enjoyed our time. The food was perfect, very tasty, we all enjoyed our meal. Like I said, the server was very nice and kept the water coming, we also got a pitcher of mimosas which I would return for. This is a good brunch option. The service here is always pretty good and they have a variety of seating options. The restaurant is very clean and they adhere to social distancing precautions. I got the pancake trio - bananas foster, plain, and berries with a side of bacon and over-medium eggs. The portions are really good but I will ask for less whipped cream and fosters sauce as it made the pancakes so sweet that I didn't even need syrup. But it's good for the overall quality and price. I always have leftovers. I would skip the tea as its 2.99 and its nothing great. But they do give you 2 teabags which is nice. Would try it at least once. Sunday morning with friends from out of town, they had never heard of Waffle House and the guy side of the foursome was up for it, hash browns: scattered smothered covered peppered and diced. No the girls decided not good enough, possibly First Watch, an excellent choice for breakfast, or Table 33. We then decided to go to this restaurant, wish we had gone elsewhere! It's not a breakfast place, at best it's a pancake place, we thought their pancakes were good. No none of us are a Gordon Ramsey, a guy who knows if it's fresh or from a packet, but we think a lot of packets are used, possibly liquid eggs from a carton, there is probably no other way to make egg less taste fluffy, more dense and less desirable. The all you can eat buffet when we were on vacation had omelettes that put these to shame. How do you serve freshly cooked food bordering on cold, since when is cooked bacon "black" as in how badly can you cook a piece of bacon (don't worry we did not waste it, brought it home and the dog loved it). Is it a new fad we have not heard of: rock hard muffins that Fred Flintstone could have mined in the quarry. Forget the latte, it's regular or decaf that tastes good but served warm. Think they want you to buy the alcohol. On the TV show Restaurant Impossible it's always the food, we did better and did not spit it out, it has potential, could be so good, but nearly is not there, with all the other contenders in Dayton you may want to give it time to get a new chef! read more

nothing infuriates me more to be seated and have the waitress tell us that she will be right with us, then watch the hostess seat, someone else that apparently the waitress knew and she came and waited on that person first. at least 10 minutes, have gone by with us, sitting in there, waiting to be waited on. she never even took our drink order but instead sat down in this gentleman's booth and took his order in full so I won't go back. First time I wasn't thrilled by a recommended restaurant on yelp. Nice place but service was slow but worse the food was cold. My wife got the croissant French toast. Cold. And she asked for the chocolate ganache on the side and it came on the side but she saw some ganache underneath and it looked like they put it on by mistake and then wiped it off. That would explain why it was cold I got the huevos rancheros. Flavor was good but my side order of toast was Burned and cold. Grits were hot. Server was nice. Manager said good bye when we left. This little bit pricey place is a great place for a brunch. Not somewhere you go to grab a quick egg sandwich. The drinks are delicious but I suggest you get a pitcher instead of by the glass. It gets expensive quickly. If you are watching your calories this isn't your place to go. Forget the rules and just enjoy the food. The atmosphere could be brought up a bit for the price. I've been to a lot of great breakfast restaurants and can't begin to tell you just how good this place is. The fact that you can be put on a waitlist via yelp was awesome. I enjoyed the light and airy feel once you arrive and enter. It was very small, but welcoming for its size. I did feel like we were a little close to each other as far as tables, but still far enough away to have a nice conversation with the person you are with. The food was amazing and I've never had peach cobbler pancakes anywhere else, but if I were to describe it, Another Broke Egg hit the nail on the coffin to a T. The person I came with ordered pancakes which came with eggs and a breakfast meat, and they chose bacon. They said their food was delicious and I echo that.
