The first time I had Linda do my nails that was an amazing experience. She was so friendly and did an amazing job for a simple shellac change of colour. Her prices are very affordable compared to others in Markham. The shellac also lasted 4 weeks before one of the fingers lifted which is amazing for shellac and the same lasting power as my regular salon. So I decided to come back and get a change of shellac today. I got another lady to do my nails. She wasn't there last time. She was extremely fast- I was done within 30 minutes which is quick! But I only got a shellac change not a shellac manicure. But the whole time I felt rushed and she wound up cutting my finger (see picture) near the end when filing my fingers. She did apologize but it was clearly bleeding and no rubbing alcohol or anything was applied to it...I immediately went home to wash it obviously. That left a foul taste for me. It was my fault for cheating on my regular salon for a cheaper and closer location. I'm sure if I had Linda it would have been better but after this visit I doubt I will return unless I book with Linda specifcally. Price for shellac change is $20, shellac manicure $30. Her prices are very affordable but hygiene is a concern.

I walked in on the fourth day which was today on a Tuesday asked them to fix my nails and they made me wait 10 minutes two fix two nails. As I finally got to sit down they gave an attitude towards me because I asked them to fix my second nail that was chipped. I paid them good on Friday and I always tip and they shouldn't have made me feel this way, guilty. I am not going to feel guilty for the job that was done poorly to my nails. I am a paying customer that should have been treated with respect and quality service. I love my nails now but the service isn't nice they don't tell you their name or ask customers how their day went... So I'm conclusion I would go back if they haven't given me an attitude and my nails wouldn't chip on the third day. Lindy was the one who did my nails - she was super nice, professional, and extremely patient with me, especially when I was trying to describe exactly how I wanted my nails shaped. She also helped choose the colour, which I am a big fan of! I had a full set of bio gel nails done, and couldn't be happier about the result. Definitely coming back soon for my refills (they also gave me a point loyalty card). I used to come here often but they recently lost me as a customer. I'm still recovering from my thin nail (which used to be healthy and strong). When I went to another nail salon to take off my shellac, they commented on how there was a significant noticeable difference between my left and right hands (because the nail tech from this salon messed it up). It wasn't even like I had fungus growing on me either. Notably, I had Cindy who was really slow on the pedi. Then today... I had Cindy, again. I picked a color that looked thick and nice on the example nail. But on my nail, it ended up being transparent. If I had nice natural nail tips... maybe I could pull it off as hipster/trendy, but this wasn't the case. Cindy did not tell me that it would look transparent, she just acted like everything was fine. The worst part was that when I told her how I felt, she tried to convince me that it was a good colour/look, and so did the manager. I mean, I think it's a no brainer that you're not looking for transparent nails, unless you ask for them specifically. So to rectify, they just took off the top coat, and put another colour that I chose. Obviously, to make it easy, since I was already there for an hour, I picked a dark colour. Right now, I have the remnant orange popping from the sides of the dark blue - poor job. Anyways, this experience took 1:30hr. Normally, a shellac experience should only take 45mins. If I was customer service, I would have offered a second appointment in the next couple of days to fix it for free. Now, I'm just never gonna go back. $25 + tip to waste my time and my money.
