She read that they often had lines, but they had a pre-order menu with no waiting for pickup. So she ordered a box with 2 Miso Blondies, 6 Chocolate Chunk Cookies and 2 Brownies. Oh my!!! We loved the Blondies; they were so moist and truly delightful! The brownies were equally excellent! I savored those, eating several slow small bites. The chocolate chunk cookies were large and did not at all disappoint! This bakery is on Third Street and has plenty of parking in the back, off Utica. Be sure to try Country Bird Bakery! Their items have interesting ingredients and are all SO good! You're in for a real treat, if you shop here!

Luckily there were just a few things left that I was able to snatch up to try, and it's delicious as expected! The cherry cheesecake danish was heavenly. I'm a bit of a macaron enthusiast and I struggle to find a good one that truly has the taste, texture and flavors of a truly well made macaron. Antoinette Bakery has the best I've ever had. Additionally, the other treats we tried were sweet but not overly so in which I appreciated. The staff was helpful when we were looking for suggestions and had questions and the whole place had this modern French bakery feel that I adored. I cannot wait to go back and try more items like a loaf of fresh sourdough bread.

We split a slice of the passion fruit chocolate pie along with a couple of regular drip coffees. (Of course, we had to get some of the orange-chocolate chip cookies to go.) I liked the pie. Interesting flavors. The chocolate chips did not overpower the subtle passion fruit cream. It was served a bit haphazard though (but that's just me being picky). My biggest complaint was with the coffee and some of the service. I guess I will order an Americano or something next time because the drip coffee was luke warm at best. We were bussing our own table and one of the staff didn't even seem to know what to do with our dishes. Nobody was overly friendly. Maybe they were just prepping for the onslaught of First Friday-ers. Just off night perhaps.

I was very excited to try this place as cake is my absolute favorite…read more The cakes are not consistently good - the chocolate cupcake was extremely dry while the Chantilly cupcake was excellent. The lemon bar was quite good and the cherry pastry was amazing, but the margarita cupcake was dense and disappointing in flavor. My chicken salad wrap was okay but I didn't like all the tomatoes and onions, it gave the wrap a pico de gallo flavor and didn't pair with the sweet chicken salad at all. The breakfast burrito was *very* strange - my husband got the turkey one and it was literally just eggs, potatoes, and turkey lunch meat chunks in a tortilla. Dry, no salsa or anything at all. He said it was quite odd. The baked potato soup was a disgusting snot queso, not soup at all. I actually took it back, I rarely ever do that. The kids didn't like the ham in their lunch able, and I have say, neither did I. Quite disappointing. Come for sweets only I would say.

Today I decided to play tourist. I'd always heard about the adorable Cherry Street... only to learn…read moreit is not actually on Cherry Street. Tulsa said "plot twist" and honestly, I respect it. I hit the Coffee House on Cherry Street and was immediately greeted by a lineup of pies, cakes and muffins that made me salivate like I hadn't eaten in days. I behaved myself and ordered an iced Americano with an extra shot, a splash of cream, and a little sugar. It was smooth, not burnt or bitter. My friends grabbed a sandwich, chips, and a cookie for $15 and walked out full, happy, and bragging about how good everything was. The sandwiches, I'm told, were savory and judging by how silent they were while they devoured their turkey delights, I believed them. And now I have plans to return for my anniversary because I spotted a slice of German chocolate cake that could easily be shared with some to spare. I might even squeeze in the strawberry pie because balance. Tulsa, you're chaotic, charming, and delicious -- and I'm finally catching up.

The scone was also disappointing--it tasted more like cake than a traditional scone. On the positive side, the space itself is very nice and inviting. Service is great. I just wish the coffee had been stronger and more flavorful.
