    Overcooked calamari rings!!!

I ordered online today and I ordered the calamari rings and a cheese pizza as well as a pepperoni pizza. I was very disappointed with the order I received. The calamari rings were overcooked and the pizza (both of the were shoved in the box with no care at all. I am truly disappointed.

Once again another great Salad at Anna's Pizza. Thanks Brenda, good job!

We love to stop here at Anna's when we're in Kilmarnock. Today was no exception. As always, the staff was very pleasant and very accommodating. Though we were only looking for a quick snack this time we found just what we needed. An antipasta salad for two and a Stromboli to split. All good. Our server, Brenda, was superb !

Pizza is alright, I have had better. Would definitely try something else from the menu. Waitress was friendly and nice atmosphere !!

Modern but still captured the old coastal feel. It was super musty and smelled like it. There was a dehumidifier but it was so small, in two nights we actually had to dump the water bucket 4 times. And if we left all day, we came back to a damp room. I'm not sure what causes that - we live in a super humid area and don't have the same issue, but maybe a larger humidifier would help. The breakfasts were fantastic - you can order anything off their restaurant menu. I didn't have anything bad, everything was super fresh and came in huge portions. I do wish they had an espresso machine but the coffee was okay. Check out was also a breeze. This isn't a luxury location, my main complaint was the price for it feels steep, but it's one of the only spots in the area which is probably why they can charge so much. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely come back here if I was in the area again.

My wife's house salad was very tasty but had several pieces of wilted greens that she picked out. I started with the French onion soup, which was very salty. Almost too salty to eat. My wife had the salmon and I had the Shrimp in the sambuca sauce. The salmon was cooked good and very flavorful, the asparagus was cooked perfectly and good tasting. The shrimp were cooked well but the dish itself was lacking flavor. I was surprised at the absence of the sauce. It barely covered the pasta. The waitress did offer to add more sauce to it, and actually brought out some more sauce with a little more sambuca in it. It did improve the dish, but not one of my favorites. So 5 stars on the salmon dish. 3 stars on the salad. 1 star on the French onion soup, and 3 stars on the shrimp sambuca sauce dish. I have had the French onion soup before and it was good, so this was just a bad night. We will still go there because they usually are very good, and everyone can have an off night. The waitress told the chef about the sambuca sauce and she said he agreed with me and tweek the sauce.

It quickly became apparent there were only a few employees, a bartender, a waitress, and the cook/owner. That said, service was great, it was obvious they were working as best they could to assure everyone was getting what they needed, and that orders were acceptable. Our food came out fast (we ordered fish and chips) and the servings were huge! Bartender even gave me a sample of their delicious red back sauce, which has a decent amount of heat for a restaurant sauce..... We need to make a point to add this place to our regular rotation of restaurants, they really work hard to deliver great food and great service, even though they are quite short staffed! Thé menu wasn't huge, but they had a section of ' summer grilled' options...pork, chicken, brisket,.....that Im sure would all be delicious! And a smaller menu is a good thing IMO, as they can concentrate on making the food they do offer delicious! If you go here, give the workers a break and understand the situation they're in. If you don't get waited on Immediately, know this has become all too prevalent everywhere these days; and most often, slow service isn't a result of slack workers....definitely not here!

Food wise, this restaurant offers a serious seafood steamer feast and we did not miss out! We went with snow crab and shrimp. Cooked just right and cleaned well. We also ordered scallops served on the half shell - Thai chili style. A little bit of a let down as they were slightly overcooked. The chili is quite hot and I like spicy food so it was good with me but too much heat for others at the table. If a good amount of heat is not your thing definitely order the scallops basil style. We are not oyster fans but if you are oysters are a specialty of the house. For sides we had fries and hush puppies. Fries were very good, and the hush puppies were outstanding. Whole pieces of corn inside and cooked to a perfect crunch on the outside I would highly recommend these. We finished off our meal with fried plantains for desert, served with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. A fantastic steamer meal. There is a lot of menu to explore here and entrees seemed to lean toward seafood Mexican style dishes including tacos, burritos, etc. For drinks, the restaurant offers a good selection of beers on tap, wines and a full bar. Definitely recommend and suggest trying a seafood variety steamer style- it was a lot of fun! Cheers, and happy eating!

I proceeded to ask the older team member if it was possible if I could have light sauce on the meatball sub due to acidic sensitivity. The team member replied that it could be done. The team member then proceeded to begin making the sandwiches. My spouse and I then went to wait in the guest seating area. I then noticed the team making the last sub which was a tuna sub and I proceeded to ask the team member if it was possible to toast the bread before applying the cheese to the tuna sub. The team member gave no response and breathed heavily (Huffing and Puffing) while putting the bread in the toaster oven. Once the team member removed the bread from the toaster oven the team member openingly stated to the younger team member (Don't do this because its not what the receipt says and this can get you fired and If I get fired Im going the fuck off". I then politely stated to the team member that there wasn't an option on the app to toast the bread before cheese. The team member replied aggressively "There is a section for notes that's where you put it". The team member then gathered all the sandwiches in a bag and tossed it on the counter and walked away. My spouse proceeded to ask the older team member for her name and she replied " Why and that's irrelevant". My spouse and I proceeded to thank the younger team member for her assistance and walked out of the store. Upon arriving home and opening the sandwiches the meatball sub was not toasted, soggy, and seemed to have extra marinara. My spouse and I refused to return to the store and/or call the store due to rude team member and an unwelcoming environment. This experience is by far the worst experience I have ever had at any Subway establishments.
