DON'T RECOMMEND: RUINED MY ITEMS AND DIDN"T RESPOND AFTER CONTACTING MANAGER OR INSURANCE COMPANY. MOVERS PHYSICALLY DAMAGED ITEMS AND ITEMS MISSING!!! I used this company through a third party and it was not a pleasant experience from beginning to end. The company I went through they had a price per pound in place for my items. When they got there they tried to talk me into something different and just pay for the space which was a lot more. When I called the company that hired them they said to keep what we had suggested because that's how they get you. They ended up increasing my down payment because I decided to stay with my original quote. We had about 2 hours of downtime going back and forth dealing with the manager over the phone. However this wasn't the worst part. The day of the move: Unlike what I was promised, the person who was delivering didn't call to schedule a time, he told me a time and I didn't really have a choice. It was a bad day for me because I was working however he did keep me updated via text. It was raining and 8:30pm. I was working for the first 30 min of their arrival and could only check in every once in a while. It took them a while until I started to get boxes moved into my place. I had to stop them 15 min in because it wasn't my furniture. I think it dawned on them when they put a box that said bedroom 2 and I only have a tiny one bedroom. They the took a good 30 min afterwards to start moving the correct furniture in. At this time I understood what they were doing. Even though their truck was 20 ft away and I was on the first floor, they pull out all of the items, leave them outside and then moves it in. However, it was raining, and realistically there was no need to pull it out and place it in front of the truck when there was an overhand 5 ft. away. So, all of my boxes got soaking wet. Then when they moved the wet boxes to my place (only three doors down, bottom level) they were falling apart because of the moisture damage. I had a box that had a printer in it, wrapped up nicely in blankets and clothes. It fell apart in the movers hands. He came to get me and my items were everywhere along the ground. He picked up the printer, brought it into my house and placed it upside down with the scanner lid open breaking it off. If he had put the device upright it would still be functional. At this point I realized they didn't even care about the items. The drenched boxes were one thing, but dropping my printer was another. I had several boxes damaged, purses, electronics, plates, linens, furniture all with water damage or physical damage; as well as missing an item. All noted on the bill of lading, I called the owner a few times and left messages with no reply. I then tried to go through their insurance company. They only accept claims via mail, no email and no faxing. I mailed it in, called several times.....no response. This was such a horrible experience. And I know stuff happens, but they also didn't try to fix the situation either. read more

I used Annapolis Best Twins Movers for a move from Washington, DC to Delray Beach, Florida. I had them package my flat screen television in their box with their labor. When the television arrived at my new home in Florida it had a severe dent on one corner and a crack that extended from the bottom left to the top right. After filing a claim within the 30 day window it took 7 months to receive a response. The response was a $78.00 check for a $2,300.00 television. With all of the patience I could muster I reached out to their management with promises that they would address the situation. They consistently failed to respond and I am now writing my first review on any service, anywhere since I feel so incredibly wronged by this company. I had a very poor experience with this moving company. We had initially worked out a quote to which I was locked into. First, the moving company was 2 days late to retrieve my items (I was moving from Philly to Mississippi). My parents had flown up to help me drive my car down and they were left waiting around while I waited for the movers to come. On the day of the move, the lead mover tried to charge me extra, more than what I was quoted (the quote I was locked into). He proceeded to get mad at me for standing my ground and refusing to pay the extra amount. He even stated that I must not know how to do math right. He spoke with his boss who told him not to charge me extra. Upon delivery, some of my items were damaged including a broken desk, broken glass ware items and my red cooler was never delivered. I wish I could give two different ratings for the moving services and the business practices, but unfortunately I cannot. I bought a Groupon for four hours of moving services, a 24 foot truck, and two movers. My experience with the move was very smooth and easy. The movers showed up an hour earlier than scheduled, which put me in a bit of a tight spot because I was not finished packing, but I managed to get it worked out. I made it clear in advance that I did NOT want them to pack or wrap any of my belongings, since I knew those bring hefty extra charges. (I bought shrink wrap at the UPS store and wrapped all of my furniture, which I recommend you do if you are going to move) I asked them to only move items that were in boxes or wrapped with shrink wrap, and they kindly obliged. The two gentlemen were very respectful and efficient in moving all of my belongings, and when we arrived at my new house they asked where I wanted each box to go. They even moved a few for me that were in the wrong room, which I greatly appreciated. They finished the move in under three hours, and the only charge I incurred was $75 to move my refrigerator, but I knew about that in advance. I thanked the movers and gave them a tip and sent them on their merry way. The next day the $75 was deducted from my bank account. I thought "Cool, that's all said and done". Then a week later a second withdrawl of $75 was taken out of my account by Twins Movers. This was on a Saturday, and I immediately called the company and explained the problem. The lady I spoke to informed me that I would need to talk to the owner, Isaac, in order to receive a refund. Even when I explained I was not asking for a refund, since I had never authorized the additional charges to begin with, she insisted that I call back on Monday to talk to Isaac. She assured me that he would be in the office and that everything would work out. So on Monday I called back and spoke with the same lady. She directed my call to another man who again informed me that I would need to talk to Isaac, but he would not be in the office until Thursday. At this point I just declared their business practices absolute BS and filed a dispute with my bank. I think it's very VERY shady that a business would give me the runaround for an issue that is clearly their fault- I have to wonder if they've done this to other people who simply don't keep a close eye on their bank accounts? read more

When I've been "lucky" enough to reach them I've been told things like, "luckily we aren't charging you for storage", " do you realize how far we have to move your belongings" and "we are working on it." We were scheduled to have our load picked up on May 26, 2016 at 2pm. I received a call that morning from Sandra who asked if it would be alright for our appointment to be moved to 4pm. At 2pm, I received a second call asking if we could wait until the next day since their driver was very tired and needed rest. I said that's fine and was assured that my delivery would be picked up first thing on the 27th. Around noon on the 27th, I had to call Sandra to find out where the movers were and was told that they would arrive around 3pm since they were still loading in Ohio (I was in Indiana). Again, I said fine and ignored the logical inconsistency of the previous excuses for the late pick up. At 2pm, I received a call from Noam, who told me that the driver was stuck in Ohio and couldn't come until the 28th and I would receive a discount. The driver finally arrived on the 28th and very professionally packed our things, he gave me an estimate and there was no discount. I asked him about this and was told to take it up with Sandra. I was told my delivery would be made within a 7 day window. On the first of June, I called Sandra and was told she didn't have any information on my delivery and she would call me back. She didn't. On Thursday, I called and was told the same thing. I asked if my delivery would be made in the 7 day window and was assured it would. Friday and Saturday, I called her and left messages and received no calls back. Finally, I got ahold of her on Monday (2 days after my delivery should have arrived at the latest) and was given the number of my driver, who I called and was told he was picking up my load in Indiana from their warehouse and my delivery would be made at 10am in New York on Tuesday the 7th. He arrived at 12:30pm on Tuesday, again no discount on the invoice. He insisted on cash for the delivery otherwise he would not unload. After paying him and giving a healthy tip in advance, he and his 2 helpers took 3 and a half hours to unload my delivery. About halfway through, he let me know I had a lot of stairs and he would appreciate more of a tip and that many other moving companies would refuse to bring my boxes and furniture up (hint, hint), I told him that when I got my initial quote and when filling out the paperwork with the driver who picked up my delivery I was very clear that I lived on the third floor. He told me I wasn't charged enough and again let me know what a difficult job this delivery was. So, here I am, more than 2 grand out. Several boxes were smashed and one dresser was somehow water damaged despite being wrapped in blankets. My goods were delivered 6 days later than originally promised and not a peep from the company. I thought the solicitation of extra tips was an especially nice touch. Worst decision ever. read more

If this was just a review of the movers, I would be giving them 4 stars, but my horrific experience with the customer services representative on the day of my move has deterred me from ever using this company again. He yelled at me over the phone about payment and angry that I would try to pay my remaining balance in cash despite the fact that my order confirmation clearly stated "Remaining balance is due in full at time of delivery prior to unloading of truck. (Money order, or cash). Credit card payment is accepted ONLY for deposits." I utilized this company to move based on Budget Movers. The pick-up was great, but now it is almost six weeks into my move and I have not received my items. I called twice and both times they told me a truck was leaving next week with the shipment from VA to Montana. Ridiculous. Let alone they are liars.... they don't follow their own contract. I waited the 21 business day as it states on the contract, but they don't care. When I call I get transferred 3 times. This moving company sucks and whats worse is that the broker company hired to contract this out sucks to. I chose these movers based on the reviews here. Don't make that mistake! Not one thing they told me while booking was true. The trucks are not air conditioned (very important to me moving from DC in July). I was told the pricing was based on weight--it was not. When the movers came and the contract did not at all match what I was told on the phone, I called to ask about the discrepancy. The customer service rep actually yelled at me and threatened to bring back my things. I was given a two-day window for delivery and took time off to receive shipment only to find out that was not in fact the actual window (fine print on those long contracts you can't possibly read while movers are removing your things). The actual window is pretty much at their discretion. I called every day to check and got a different story each time. My shipment finally arrived two weeks after their promised delivery date. Of course, they demand cash before they will release your things, so you have no recourse. After paying, they brought in my things. Almost every box was smashed, many were open, some were damp, many things were melted. No one needs this while already burdened by the stress of moving. read more

I did a DITY (now called a PPM) move in August to Jacksonville, FL with them because I was getting out of the Navy and going back to school to finish my degree. Fort Meade's movers were booked well past my separation date so decided to roll the dice on the PPM. The agent that sold me the move "Jessica" very condescending assured me that this was not their first military move and of course the weight tickets I needed to be reimbursed would delivered with my goods. Sadly this was not the case. No sweat! I'll just call them up and ask them to send me the weight tickets. I called them 8 times (to include my call today) and they never mailed me a thing. I gave 2-3 week windows...maybe they didn't get to it right away and it sat in that "Outgoing" bin a little while...and nothing happened. Each time I called it was oh Sorry Mr. So-and-So we'll get that right out to you. On the 5th call I asked them to confirm the address, and it was wrong, so I corrected it. On the 6th call I asked them to confirm the address and it was the same as the 5th, call...so I corrected it. The 7th and 8th call were the same as the 5th and 6th. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! I likewise bought the Groupon for 4 hours of moving services by 2 movers for $149. Before purchasing the Groupon I called to be sure they could do the move and I had arranged for the movers to come at 5pm which I was told would be no problem. Fast forward to the day of the move - 5:30pm rolls around and I call the company. The man answering the phone had to put me on hold to call the movers. When he took me off hold he informed me that the moving truck had broken down and they were waiting for a mechanic to come fix it... 30 miles away from my house. I had little choice but to wait and called them back at 6pm. I said that I was concerned that they may not show up at all and was considering renting a Uhaul. The man from Twins Movers told me that he didn't want to lose my business and would I give him until 6:30 to straighten things out. I agreed. At 6:15pm, he called me back and said that the truck was being towed and the movers were not coming. I was understandably upset and asked why he didn't have another truck and another moving crew on their way to my home. He told me it was too late for that now. At one point he implied that this was somehow partly my fault for scheduling the movers for late in the day. I pointed out that his company was the one who scheduled them at 5pm and said it would be fine!! Instead, my fiance and I rented a Uhaul the next morning and did the move ourselves in the 99 degree Baltimore heat. I am skeptical that the truck was even broken down. I suspect the company got in over their heads with the Groupon, realized they couldn't make a profit and just plain didn't see the value in coming to do my move. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I would under no circumstances ever recommend their services to anyone. I'm not sure how such a poorly run company is even able to stay in business. I guess the lesson is that if the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. read more

I wanted to give this company a good review. I used them to move halfway across the country a couple of months ago. The day of the move, they showed up on time and with little fuss loaded the truck. Assured by the agent on the phone that there would be no surprise charges, I was disappointed when they charged 70.00 for wrapping my furniture with plastic wrap, because apparently that level of packing wasn't included. I was okay with that for the most part, though, because there were no more surprises. The pickup felt very rushed, and I was uncomfortable with how my furniture was being flipped around and moved, but it all made it intact. The delivery was at about 10:30 at night (and about 2-3 days later than expected), and was also rushed - the movers tried to leave a couple of items that were not mine (which makes me worried that they did the same with my items, too) and I was given no time before they left at about midnight to go through the items and make sure everything had arrived. Unfortunately, however, the company lost one of my boxes during the moving process. I was so rushed during the pickup and delivery that I didn't know that each of the tags on the boxes would identify each box individually according to lot and item number, and by the time I had unpacked everything and realized the mistake, I had already disposed of many of my boxes and thus had no idea which one was missing. In addition, when I contacted them about the missing box, I was informed that they were unable to find it and that I should begin the claims process. I followed up a few times, with what I think was a lot of patience, because I preferred to have my box (with a lot of nicer, work clothing in it that was expensive to replace). When I found a couple of the red tags and could give them a lot number and item range, they started looking for it again - I have trouble understanding how they could have given up looking before they even knew what they were looking for. It's been a couple of months now, and I haven't had any updates on the search, despite being told that they had searched the warehouse and called other clients that shared the truck with my items, and that there was one customer that hadn't yet unpacked. I'm giving them two stars because the pickup and delivery people were competent (though very rushed each time, which probably resulted in my lost box) and I didn't feel misled about pricing (for the most part). I'm disappointed with the followup on my missing box. I'm disappointed at the length of the claims process and the very, very limited reimbursement. I'm disappointed that my move, a relatively small one, was mishandled. The moving company's main job is to get all belongings from one place to the next, and they failed at that. They do accept credit cards for a deposit, but only cash on delivery (not certified checks, contrary to what you may be told, which also cost me another $20). read more

I was moving from PA to ND and since my new job was paying, I went with hiring mover, which I've never done before. Unfortunately, I didn't get to choose the movers, or I wouldn't have chosen these guys. First, they gave me a quote, but when it came time to pay, it was DOUBLE what they told me. The 3 guys who came to my apartment in PA were 2 hours late and I ended up doing half of the packing, even though I paid them to do it. They're first language was Spanish and since mine is rusty, I was having trouble understanding them, as they spoke very fast. But as soon as I said one sentence in Spanish, their conversation with each other for the rest of the time was very little... One of the guys wrote down his number and put it in my medicine cabinet that I found later that night, which made things uncomfortable (if I didn't call, would they treat my belongings like crap?). When they finally finished, the lead guy approached me and demanded a tip (which I didn't have and wasn't expecting). He wanted to follow me to the ATM, which since I'm not an idiot, I had to walk by myself and leave them alone in my apartment since I was alone. If I wouldn't have tipped them, I had a bad feeling about the condition of my stuff. And then to top it off, they gave me a paper survey to fill out, which they stood over me and watched every answer I wrote down. Again, since I was worried about the way they'd handle my things from here on out, I gave them on paper a good review, but noted to not use it for a public reference. For delivery, they gave me a day they would drop everything off in my new apartment, the day my lease started. So I made sure I was there the night before and stayed in a hotel in ND, only to find out, my stuff hasn't left their warehouse in MD!! So there I was in a place I've never been before, knowing not a single person, and now I'm supposed to sit in an empty apartment for another 10 days with nothing!!! Luckily, I have a wonderful MALE friend who was in the military for quite some time and was in the trades business, so he knew how to play their game and to sound as intimidating as possible. Thanks to my great friend, my stuff came 3 days later, and fortunately, Best Twins handed my stuff off to a whole other moving company, which were beyond professional and nice. I even wanted to tip these guys but they would not accept a tip. Please save your time, money, and stress and DO NOT hire these guys!!! read more

If it had ever gotten to the point where they actually moved our stuff, it may have been a different review, I doubt it...but here it is: I purchased a groupon for Twins Movers. $149 for 4 hours with a 2 man crew. Blankets and shrink wrap were extra as well as an "extra charge if outside 30 mile radius from zip code 21401." Now, pulling out my old Geometry book...Radius is 1/2 the diameter...so from the center to the edge of the circle. If the center of the radius is zip code 21401, am I within the radius? Well, if you're following along...my zip is 20714. Yup, look at that 26 miles. New zip code 21122, hey, that's only 18 miles. Both are within a 30 mile radius of 21401. I even CALLED THEM TO VERIFY! Well...we buy the groupon, and call them to set up our move. The guy even tells us again we will not be charged the "travel fee" but does tell us he is not in the office, so we need to fill out the online form and he will email us our confirmation in the morning. That was a Tuesday. We fill out the form...get a "Thank you for submitting our online request form" email, but no confirmation. Fast forward 3 days, call..."We never received your online request, but we just put you in the system, you'll get an email soon." Fast forward 5 days and a daily phone call, still no email. Finally, after a 7th phone call, an email is sent at 5:37 pm. $175 in additional charges are on the invoice. I call to clarify and no one answers, we are 48 hours from our move and we are starting to panic. I figure they aren't answering because it is after 5 pm. So, first thing in the morning, I call. I get transferred to 3 different people and finally am told that we are being charged the $175 because our move is outside the 30 mile required radius for the groupon rate. I explain to him that a 30 mile radius gives a total distance inside the circle as 60 miles and our move is only 38, how can we be outside the radius? He says that because the starting and ending locations are more than 30 miles apart, he has to charge the fee. I tried extremely hard to stay calm, and explain to him, that this is not what is written on the groupon and that he, as a reputable business, should honor what is written. If you meant for it to be within 30 miles of each other, it should have been worded differently or maybe "15 mile radius" should have been used. I should not be charged an extra fee because you printed the deal incorrectly (or didn't know the meaning of a radius). The customer should not suffer because the business owner made a mistake. In the end, we were issued a refund and a great apology from groupon, but now, 48 hours from our move we have to call another company all because someone doesn't know the definition of the term radius. We are actually going to pay another company more than the groupon rate plus the $175 just because I refused to allow them to profit off of something that clearly looks like a bait and switch to me. read more

I started my experience with this company in Harrisburg. A representative spoke enthusiastically, took my information which included an inventory and explained their rates. I signed on because their offer of $1200 for five hours with less than $200 for each additional hour sounded fair. Then, was I ever disappointed. A day or two before our move, a woman called and asked if we could move our date from Friday to Saturday. Apparently they had a night time run they wanted to complete. I said no, not possible. We have a child with autism who cannot zig and zag. They threw us to a second choice, is my guess, because they wanted that other job. On Friday, our movers arrived, took one look at our "stuff" and told me we had too much. He thought we had an apartment, not a house full. He kept repeating that to me. I felt terrible! Now, understand that I had told the company how many beds, bureaus, sofas, tables and everything else they asked for over the phone during the intake conversation. I got scared and watched as they loaded a Penske rental truck full. I still had a garage full of boxes and other assorted household items! Scared that I wouldn't have my furnishings delivered that day, I said, "Let's go," and we went to my new house. The lead man, the only English speaker, took cash or a cashier's check only. Thankfully my husband had cash. He charged us before unloading, and we paid in cash because we feared they would drive away with our entire truck full. He never offered to go back to pick up the other remaining items, nor did I offer because that would have cost me about $600 more! They were hardworking men. Don't get me wrong. However, when one man broke the screen of our storm door, he shrugged because he did not speak English. I felt I had no one to talk to about this. "Fly by night" is how I would describe this operation. They charged me for 9 and a half hours, added $390 for travel time, and one of those hours we spent traveling! I was horrified, but did not want to see my furniture undelivered, so i accepted anything they said. What a mess. I now know that a quality company sends a representative to the house, inventories the furniture and gives an estimate based on that personal inventory. If there were away to give a negative 20 rating that is what they would receive from me for the long distance move Sept 2014-- paid a large amount of money for " premium service." Best Twins delivered my belongings 2 days late. BUT, when it did arrive, 52 ticketed items were missing, 95% of my furniture was destroyed! I had other peoples things delivered to me. My boxes and plastic totes were crushed, mangled, ripped, and in the worse condition I've ever seen. I called Twins representative (While the truck was being unloaded.) to tell them of the horror I was witnessing-- they laughed at me. It is now Jan 2015, I'm still living with taped, glued, screwed, and pieces of furniture. No settlement as of yet. read more

Worst experience with any business I have ever had. They picked up our items in Indiana and contracted to deliver to Florida in 2-14 days. After a month and repeated lies about when they were going to deliver and then excuses as to why it wasn't delivered, they finally said they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered and we could come to the storage shed about 3 hours from our home to pick our items back up and they would refund our money....another lie. Once we picked up our things, they told us they will only refund $250 of the $1100 we already paid for their services not rendered. Their reasoning: We should pay for the man power and storage for the month our items spent in a storage bin 3 hours from our home!!!! I'm giving this company rating of 2 because pick up group was very good. They were on time and very respectable however, I did felt that they were rush to get my staff loaded. The leader was supposed to call me back with estimated delivery schedule however, he never did. It appears that that is the norm with this company because every time I talk with someone in the office and they'll always said 'Let me check and I'll call you back' but never got call from them. In the other hand, delivery was awful. The office requested me (customer) to talk directly with driver. But this driver was so bad that he'll not let me talk, just started screaming and complaining of the phone. No respect to not only customer but as a people to people. They were delay delivering(couldn't make to 3 days delivery windows that his company provided) my staff and was just asking him that I would very much appreciate if he could do anything to speed up delivery. I understand that driving cross country and lots of things happen, but why would you provide 3 days window if you'll not be able to make that. They had a 3 days window to deliver my staff but they still manage to be late. I can deal with something like that but most important message that I wanted to provide to other peoples like me need to have moving company, the driver was rude and disrespectable and office didn't even care. The office said to me that driver is not customer service but their job is to just deliver the good. It that is the case then don't let customer deal with them. If driver is the one deliver the good and will be talking with customer then I would consider that is customer service. And if you are late for any reason, you should apologize to customer first after you identified yourself with name and who you work for. I appreciate the fact that they did deliver even late so it shouldn't have to be this way. When you are in the business, everything you do is customer service and everyone works for your company should know how to care for your customer. Worst experience ever ! I can't believe they call themselves "best twin movers", more like "worst twin movers" . The guys not only overcharged me for my move from nu to Ohio compared to my original estimate, but they also gave me the run around in terms of delivery and wanted to deliver my items at 1 am 8 days later . Mostly I had to call them and rarely got a call back. Finally when I received my stuff my coffee table was not just broken but deliberately broken and the legs taped to the table - looked as if someone kicked the legs of the table because they were either too dumb and/or did not give a damn because one could simply look at the legs and realize they twist off. Additionally my poor daughters crib was missing the screws and now unfortunately cannot be put together . And this Continues to get better - my sons toy chest is completely missing and they destroyed a box that had a blender that was bubble wrapped twice - but they said "we are not responsible for that since we didn't pack it " makes me wonder does that give them the license to throw and destroy other people's property - this is nothing but pure vandalism and the worst part is I paid them. DO NOT USE THEM! THEY ARE EXTREMELY DISHONEST PEOPLE! Moving is so important and already stressful don't let them give even more stress. I bought also a groupon coupon and paid $150 for 4 hours. When I called them for appointment they said they are full for this month. So agreed to pay $200 more (over $150 coupon) to have their service on Sunday, September 15th, 2013 and more I accepted only 3 hours service instead of 4 hours because they said 1 hour is for their travel. Firstly they were supposed to show up at 9-10am. They came at 8:15 without any prior phone call. They came with an invoice for $395 more then agreed. I told them it is not polite different time and different price without any prior notice. I accepted to sign their forms because in moving day you are vulnerable and already stressed. After that they pretended they are upset and became rude. I told them I am the customer and I expect good service and respect. They pretended to be offended and refused to give me the service. I told them I will call their boss, they said "IT is Sunday, nobody will ask you". Indeed nobody asked, I let voice messages, nobody called me back. You can imagine what was next: U-Haul truck rented by myself and all friend requested for help-so much stress for so many people. Next day, on Monday, I called Customer Service but I couldn't reach a manager. I let my number but they never called me back. That lady in customer service told me I am free to make any complain wherever I want. People, don't use this company. Stay away! I never experienced this kind of behavior in all my life. If you want to avoid extended period of angst STAY AWAY from this company! A worst-twin scammers would be a more appropriate name. We recently did an interstate move with them via Budget Van Lines (which was another let-down): what a nightmare! Never had movers this unprofessional and disrespectful in our past moves. The pick-up guys based in Indianapolis are jerks. Rude and disorganized. Problem #1: Numbers on boxes are all mixed up and some didnt even have stickers on them. We ended up with more boxes than what was on the delivery sheets! #2: At the end of loading day the head guy Miguel gave us a weight estimate $700+ higher than the broker Budget Van Lines gave us. He then 'kindly' offered to give us a flat rate to lock in 'only' $400 extra. We didnt think it was right so we declined. It turned out the actual weight was $900 less than Miguel's estimate. What a scam! #3: Multiple major damages to our furniture by the time they got to us. We saw large areas of white glue marks on them as the movers tried to cover up the f#ck-ups. #4: impossible to reach and to communicate with while we waited for an ETA. Hands down the worst company i have ever dealt with. They have extra hidden charges for packing materials that you were never told about. I am still waiting on my stuff and it has been over two weeks now since they have picked it up. Every time i call i get the run around and transferred. They say they will have to call me back, i have called every day and i have never received a call back. I don't think they know where my stuff is. I would never recommend this company. I purchased a Groupon to use this company to move my small apartment. It was 2 hours of moving service with 2 people. I coordinated with the dispatch successfully and the guys showed up on time with a huge truck. They had 4 guys and told me since they had to use the large truck, they needed more people. The guy I was talking to quoted me $400 for the move while at my apartment. I showed him the Groupon and he mentioned that I already paid for the move. He told me that the Groupon covered 2 people for 1 hour and the truck for 1 hour (which when he did the math added up to the 2 hours the Groupon covered). I told him that this is unacceptable and was clearly not the deal that I purchased. After a lot of attitude and some looks that seemed to suggest I would have MS-13 waiting for me at my house, he relented under the condition that I "take care of his guys". I decided to not argue any further and just get my stuff moved. I had to tip each guy $20 for the move that took them 45 minutes... By the way, the name of the company was Twins Van Lines and I am hoping that this is the same as Annapolis Best Twins Movers. If not, please disregard this review. read more

Do not use this company. They told me on March 30 they would come and move me at 8-9 O clock.on 06-16-14. On the 13th they called to confirm.the 8 to 9 o clock time. 9 came and went, no call, 10 came and went no call. 11 came and went and no call. I called them and the lady told me that they do not promise times. I told her that you did in this case and it is written on my contract. She continued to argue about the issue. She said I need to talk to some one else and I would not get my deposit back. My sister used this company and still has not received her furniture yet. They then told me that they have by law 30 days to deliver the things. I then stated that the man that signed me up told me that my stuff would be there by the 30th of June. Now it is the 16th of July.I went to rent a truck and do it my self. While there, the movers showed up at the house they and there truck wreaked of pot. My wife called and I told them to leave. I know that 3 hours is not that big of a deal but the lies about the time that we would get our things and the no call was enough for me to cancel. I would not trust these people with my things in a long distance move. I doubt that I will get my deposit back but will try. Bottom line you get what you pay for in life.
