If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience last night stuck with me so much that I had to share it. It was just my partner and me, we ordered the shrimp and chicken Alfredo along with the toasted ravioli--both were phenomenal. While we were there, we heard a few customers complaining about the wait, but we also overheard the owner explaining that everything is made fresh to order. Knowing that, we expected it might take a little longer and waited in the car. After a bit, I went to check on our order, but before I could even say anything, she immediately apologized and explained that she had run out of Alfredo sauce and was making a fresh batch for us. I was completely fine with that and super sweet to her after, who wouldn't want fresh sauce? But what really stood out was what she did after. Not only did she personally bring the food out to our car, but she also included extra bread and a sweet treat to make up for the wait. That level of kindness and care is rare. I'm local to Austin, and I can confidently say this place is worth going out of your way for. Supporting small businesses always matters, but even more than that, this is someone who truly deserves the support. Incredible service, generous hospitality, and amazing food all around. read more

Today we got the Spinach Ravioli with Garlic Butter. This meal comes with Garlic Bread. And is absolutely delicious. Also try the Meatball Sandwich with Mozzarella - Yum!! I've been craving some good Italian food and honestly none of the local and not so close local spots have been all that great, mostly such a let down on the flavors, watery sauce, chicken over fried and flat etc. I'm not sure why this place popped up on my yelp list but I'm so glad it did! I looked it up on google since there were no yelp reviews and was surprised by the consistency of the positive reviews. So initially deterred by it being a food truck, we decided to go ahead and give it a shot. We showed up we realize that it is actually on the property of a local bar called Ernie's and there's plenty of outdoor seating available. The owners were super friendly, pleasant to talk with, and seem to care a great deal about the quality of their products. Everything is handmade by them using fresh ingredients, and I have to say this is THE BEST, I mean Absolutely amazing Italian food that I have had in a very long time. We will definitely be returning and recommending Annagio's to our friends. We ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese, the Chicken Parmesan, some extra garlic toast, and the tiramisu. The homemade spaghetti isn't at all your typical pasta, it is thicker and has a really good flavor on its own. Covered with a Bolognese sauce which compliments it perfectly with proportionate amounts of sauce and meat, it was perfect. Not at all watery, not too much meat, not to much sauce, just enough of all. The marinara sauce on the Chicken Parm had a different flavor than the bolognese which was nice and really showed us that flavor was a consideration made for each dish, they didn't just put the same sauce on everything. The chicken breast was moist, well breaded and delicious. The garlic toast took me back to my childhood when my mom would bake the bread in the oven, it was so good. We finished the meal with some authentic (even comes in a glass jar you can keep) Tiramisu that was perfectly done, the cream was light, the ladyfingers still had the correct texture and the cocoa powder was just the right amount. Additionally, our tiramisu was accidentally left behind at the restaurant and the owners son personally delivered it to our house, with an additional tiramisu on the house (which was absolutely delicious). So attached is the original review, in which I honestly ate the food from uber eats and got sick. I had a broken foot so I ordered in, which I normally don't do. The photos are of the food, admittedly ravenously tried to eat it, though as pictured it wasn't good. I left the review to warn others, because it's so highly reviewed. I was hungry, broken and disappointed with this whole purchase. That's why the review was written. Now however, it's written to show just how wild this place has gotten. I haven't responded to them, talked to them or even engaged, simply because I was unaware that they were messaging me lol. I mean, hey get it small business life is tough, but you just kept escalating.... Wild. I don't feel comfortable ever talking or going there again, imagine what would happen if you told them something wasn't right with your food?! This is outright unhinged over one review. I'm sorry but I didn't have a good experience, I was vomiting all night, I can't change that fact. In town from Sacramento for a soccer tournament and just found this hidden gem by luck on our last night before heading home. The couple who runs this are very sweet and were so welcoming and kind and literally chatted me up while cooking our delicious, homemade spaghetti bolognese. Brought back to the hotel to my grumpy and tired 13 year old daughter and we both gobbled it up. The homemade garlic bread was fantastic and I am so thankful we found this amazing couple. i've been here a few times and their food is actually so great. I literally tell everybody about it. I tried to get everybody to go there because their food is literally so amazing. Like if you have not tried it. You literally need to go. You're actually missing out and you're actually having no or if you don't go like this is the best place ever guys you be there. and the people who own the food truck are super super sweet they're also bilingual and one time this lady left the bar across the street and their son helped the lady get home and I thought that was so sweet. and then they give you soo much food and bread i love the leftovers lol read more

First time experience. The staff were very friendly! We got the Toasted Ravioli app, Lasagna and Chicken Tortellini Alfredo. All looked just like the pictures. Ravioli was great! Good portion and taste. Same for Lasagna, my husband liked it and I tried it also, very good. The chicken and pasta were good as well. Good texture on the tortellini and chicken was nicely seasoned. I just couldn't taste much flavor in the Alfredo sauce. It has a thinner consistency, and just not the typical richness. Meant to ask for the garlic toast but we got the bread sticks which was alright. We will be back to try other things! Came here with my boyfriend, and oh my gosh. It was so good we came back after we finished our first meals to get more! The couple here was so nice, and extremely welcoming. Annagios is a fantastic food truck located right next to Ernie's. The food is delicious! I had the ribeye sandwich, and my wife tried the chicken Alfredo--both were outstanding. Just a heads up, it's a good idea to call ahead because they get pretty busy. We will definitely be returning! The worst experience I've had eating from a food truck. WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! I don't know where the positive reviews come from. It took 45minutes to get mediocre sandwiches. lets start with the food. we ordered the chicken parm, chicken alfredo, and chicken tortellini alfredo. the pasta is made fresh and this makes all the difference. the worst is when the chicken in the chicken parm is overcooked...no issues here...the chicken was COOKED PERFECTLY and tasted outstanding. the alfredo was fresh and delicious. this is a gem of a spot and i can't wait to eat my way through their whole menu. to address another review, i am neither a friend of the owners nor a drunk bar patron, but i will be frequenting anagios quite a bit going forward. read more
