Noli's was amazing. Everything from the staff and food were great. Our new go to Italian restaurant

So good, I pulled a Drake and went Back to back on two occasions for some great Italian food. I first went with my daughter on a late Saturday night because she asked for pasta and they happened to be close to where we were driving at the time. We pulled up thinking they were closed but a waiter immediately told us they were still going for the night. Boy did she not disappoint. Served us some of the best garlic bread, vegetable and chicken soup, steak, and pasta we've had in a while. Decided to catch them again to see if the first visit was a fluke. This time for an early evening dinner. Coincidentally, we had the same waiter as the first visit and again she did an amazing job. She was very patient and of course, the food was amazing. The salmon piccata and chicken piccata were both very filling. Have I mentioned the vegetable and chicken soup. I really like that soup. Also to note, they give very large portions of the proteins. Nicely decorated and plenty of tables. I was seated quickly at 5PM on a Saturday. The service was attentive and friendly. As for the food and drinks .. 1. Started with espresso martini which was large but very chocolatey. 2. The toasted ravioli was super yummy!!! The sauce was panna and there were 8 for the dish ... definitely shareable. 3. The bread knots were airy and fluffy. If you are a garlic lover, you have found your dipping oil ... amazing!!! 4. I then had the eggplant rolling. I liked the eggplant portion though it was covered in so much cheese the veggie flavor was lost. The sauce could have more flavor ... more herb and garlic. 5. The tiramisu was a to go as I was stuffed and walking away with lots of leftovers. I've been a loyal customer for years, since they opened. This is usually our go to spot for Mother's Day and family gatherings. The food is always enjoyable for both dine in and take out. However, my last visit here - we did take out for Mother's Day, and I was disappointed. We got up charged for every single tweak, which has never happened. Swapping out spaghetti for penne, for instance. The meatballs were not good and the fried ravioli was soggy because they pre-mixed them with ten sauce. But what really disappointed me, was all the meals are advertised with they come with a soup or house salad. However, on Mother's Day we were told that they weren't doing that. So we were charged the same amount, and if we wanted a salad/soup it was an additional charge. It wasn't advertised or anything. It's a way to make extra money on a busy day which really rubbed me the wrong way, especially after being a loyal patron. read more

I enjoyed the garlic knot rolls...yummy, and complimentary. Their menu is extensive and includes an array of Italian foods. I ordered the "eggplant rollitini", and it was delicious. The entrees come with soup or salad. I opted for the salad. It was good. The eggplant came with a side of pasta and I was able to order angel hair, my go-to, at no extra charge. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Noli's Vite. We experienced a disaster regarding a reservation we made for my 60th birthday at a different establishment. Noli's accommodated our group of 12 with zero notice and were glad to have us! We had flown in my best friends from out of state and they were blown away by the service and the food! Noli's Vite is our go-to spot now. The garlic knots are legendary. The homemade soup will leave you nostalgic for your mom. I dream about the Greek salad! And the pasta? So so so delicious! My friend and I were in town for the weekend and found this restaurant. The prices are reasonable, and the reviews and pictures on here looked worth trying. We really enjoyed the nice staff and the tasty food. Portions are large, so we each had a side salad (my Noli's salad was awesome), we split the special with chicken Parmesan and pasta with a delicious creamy pesto sauce (omg, that sauce!), and we split a slice of tiramisu. I just moved to New Braunfels, and heard about Nolis Vite and unfortunately It sad to give such a beautiful restaurant one star because the food was great and the environment was nice , BUT the service was the WORST I have ever experienced, the servers have bad attitudes and poor customer service. I asked for a manager and they said they don't have one? I asked for a to go box and they rolled their eyes at me!!! If you can't manage to train these servers you should just close down! read more

We had the chance to try this place for the first time and it is the best sit down Italian food place we have had since moving here. The place is clean, beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. For food we got the raviolis, mozzarella sticks, lasagna and the spaghetti bolognese and I have to say this is 10/10 where the food is concerned. Everything came out fast, hot and each and every bite is just bursting with flavor. I need to also leave a special note for our server Kenzie. Folks Good day!! My wife and I have been on a low carb diet all year long and decided to be a little bad tonight and go out for some pasta and steak. It was a surprisingly cooler summer night and their patio was so alluring overlooking the nights sky during sunset. Our very charming waitress stopped by answered our questions - picked up our order - and kept us in mind the whole time we were there - making for a lovely experience. We ordered steak and pasta with a glass of house Pinot Noir (yummy) . Our pasta was creamy rich and garlicky with mushrooms- we had ordered our steak medrare and was served medium - we didn't make a big stink about it - all though our meal would have been perfect with our steak being cooked right - please Noli pay attention to those crucial details it will ruin a meal and make you work twice as much - but it was grilled beautifully and the grizzle on it had a nice crisp on it. Day after Christmas and it was an early dinner for us due to some of our family leaving town that evening. It was perfect weather to enjoy the outside patio area. I ordered a child size ravioli and they brought a regular size. How was I to know? I could t eat the entire portion and when i asked the waitress about it she said since the food came out she can't do anything about it. She eventually took off $4.70 and offered a free slice of cheesecake. Then she proceeded to say "the $4.7 off plus the cheese cake should equal the difference in price". Um..no! The manager should have comped difference and offered the cheese cake as a peace offering. Or not offered it at all. My husband was in the restaurant business for 30 years and agrees with me. Have you ever stepped into a moment where all of a sudden it felt as if eternity had just begun? Eating at this restaurant was just that for me. The atmosphere here was quiet and peaceful. The music was a classical Italian/Mediterranean mix. No modern or contemporary distractions. I was able to really focus on the enjoyment of the food and spirit that moved around. I noticed other couples were enjoying nice conversations amongst themselves without any issues. The service was amazing and the workers here are sweethearts. The food was comfortable and very well portioned. There is a lot of love in these ingredients. Greek salad was perfect, bread was fresh and hot, and then Rigatoni with the vodka sauce hit the spot. This was our first visit to Noli's since moving to the area. Food was amazing! We had the calamari, lobster ravioli, linguine with white clam sauce, and red snapper. All were delicious. The house salad dressing, a tomato vinaigrette, is unique and flavorful. Every person on the staff was attentive with upbeat attitudes. Our server was Emily... love her! Absolutely horrifying and overpriced. Nearly attached to a clinic, the place seemed safe at first, people were lined up outside and showcased a promising experience. I went inside to discover there was a 30 minute wait. No offer to sit at the bar, but when I asked if I could they said of course. However, the staff behind the bar were high schoolers and could not serve drinks, nor knew a common mixes. The bartender wasn't competent either, slicing a lemon with shaky hands while holding it in his other hand. But he was "new". I digress, after three different people approached me asking about what drink I wanted, 30 minutes had passed and I sat at my table. Which was not cleaned nor spaced comfortably between the isles of those who walked by. After I cleaned my own table I ordered a water and an overpriced appetizer of Calamari. The water had floaters in it as if it wasn't washed, and the calamari was rubbery and over seasoned. Worst calamari I've ever had. Wanted something different for dinner and have not found a great Italian spot close to home yet so we thought we would try Noli's. We were able to get seated right away but the restaurant was pretty full. We were greeted by our server and she was very friendly. We ordered the standard Italian items, Hubby had chicken Parmesan and I had chicken Alfredo. We had side salads and bread with oil with the meal. The food came out quickly and hot. However, it was not what we were looking for. The chicken Parmesan was ok, but the Alfredo had a thick white sauce instead of the light Parmesan and butter sauce I'm used to. The roles were ok but the oil was just in seasoned olive oil. Therefore, we will keep looking for a good local Italian restaurant. read more
