I had smoked salmon as an entree (it was good, but the description in the menu made it look much more grand than it actually was - there were a few greens and grapes with it, and that was pretty much it). As a main course, had veal which was very tender and good, and the portion was just right. The only weak spot was the dessert - the selection was good, and we chose the sugar pie which looked good. We quietly and politely informed our waiter and he replied in French with that's weird because our chefs wear hairnets. So he goes to inform the manager of the evening, then he comes by our table and tells us how bizarre it is and that it's likely her own hair because people often do that to get a free meal. We let him know that this is our second time in a row eating here, we enjoy the food and it's not about getting a free meal, it's about finding a hair in the food you're eating. We told him we weren't looking for a free meal and we would pay for everything, not a problem but we would not be returning. He didn't care much. He came back again and said the chefs want to know how to work this out and we said there's nothing to work out you've already accused us of contaminating our own plate so just let it go. At the end of it all, they gave us a 10$ gift certificate. To sum up my story, the food is pretty good but being accused of putting hair in your own plate is very insulting hence why we will not be returning. And the cherry on top, Saturday I was charged 6$ to change the sauce on my pasta as an extra and on Sunday I was charged 7$ for the exact same thing!
