The doctor was fine, the women at the front desk are so unorganized and unprofessional, that my sister and I will never go back.

DR. GLAVAS...where do I start? First I have had 21 years of experience working for plastic…read moresurgeons as a practice cosmetic coordinator/medical assistant so I have some knowledge of plastic surgery procedures. I did my homework, checked his reviews and thought he would be a good choice to discuss upper & lower blepharoplasty. I did have a previous blepharoplasty 25 years ago so I knew what to expect and it was a very easy and uneventful recuperation. My first appointment with DR. GLAVAS lasted 5 minutes and when I left I thought he didn't have much to say. His response to my questions were "yes we can do that" but I thought he has a good reputation so he knows what he's doing. Fast forward, I had the surgery (my mistake) and knew immediately when I got home that there was something wrong with my right eye. There was a cut in the upper right corner that extended beyond my upper lid so you could see my eyeball! Both eyes were a mess so much so that I had to wear sunglasses in the house. I waited two days before calling his office and was told he was in Japan for two weeks and had NO coverage! I never heard of such a thing. A doctor goes out of town, he has to have coverage especially a surgeon. They said I could go to a hospital ER but it would probably be a 4 hour wait if I went to MA Eye & Ear. I then called optholmologists and oculoplastic surgeons but no one would see me because they did not do the surgery. I finally after 1 1/2 weeks of suffering walked into my old optholmogist's office crying that someone had to see me. I had two doctors in the room and the first thing they said was "who did this to you". They prescribed antibiotics but said I have to see the doctor immediately when he returns which I did. His response was "you're healing. Give it time". At my next follow-up with me still wearing sunglasses in the house, my eyes not fully closing but hard to keep them open and the big cut still on the right eyelid. Also, there were 9 people ahead of me in the waiting room so I timed their visits. He literally spent 2-3 minutes with each patient. I had several more visits all being the same with many people ahead of me and his spending so little time with each one. My longest appointment with him was 5 minutes. He said nothing other than he could probably stitch the hole in my right lid and got defensive when I expressed my concerns. To make this story shorter, it has now been 14 months post surgery and my eyes are still not right nor are they comfortable. My left eye is much smaller than my right (he said because one eyebrow is higher than the other! If so, wouldn't the surgeon compensate for that?? I still have to wear sunglasses outside, am constantly putting in eye drops because I feel like I have sticks in my eyes. I have very visible scars that look like blisters in the corners of both eyes. He did laser on my lower lids for discoloration and fine lines for which I paid $6300.00!! They look the same with no improvement other than now having scars. He did say he could redo this but was going to charge me again. Sorry this is so long but my experience with DR. GLAVAS has been horrific. STAY AWAY. He's all about volume and doesn't care about his patients. Time to retire, DR. GLAVAS. P.S. My neighbor also used him and had issues.

DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!! THINK TWICE, think thrice, and THINK AGAIN!!!!!!…read moreI do NOT recommend Sono Bello Woburn AT ALL!!!! I can agree with so many 1* reviews, and the only reason why I have given them 1* is because there is no option for no stars!! They definitely blow smoke up your as when you go in to see your 'sales' person!! I did do my research, was satisfied with the surgeon that they assigned me, even though I was very nervous to go ahead with the procedure. A week or so before my surgery appmt, they changed my surgeon to someone that wasn't even listed on their website, so I had no way to research whether he was any good, and was pressured to accept him as my surgeon, due to the 'offer' that I had signed up for to have my surgery before the end of July!! I was never advised to get post op massages, however my own research had brought me to the conclusion that I should. I had an AWFUL experience receiving the second faja that I was supposed to get sent, and didn't get it until at least 4months post surgery!! At my first couple of post op appointments, I only saw a nurse who weighed me and took pictures..... I obviously still had a fair bit of swelling that I expected. By my 3rd post op appointment, it was becoming obvious to me that the sharpie that the surgeon had used to mark me on the day of my surgery, had bled into the incision sites and was now very much within my skin like a tattoo!! They gave me some tape that I applied religiously for weeks, but NO CHANGE! Their treatment of my concerns never seemed to be taken seriously at all!! I requested a consult with the surgeon, as not only was I still concerned about the sharpie marks in my skin, but also that my stomach was very lop-sided with a very visible lump of subcutaneous fat (which should have been removed!!) They cancelled my consult with the surgeon on at least two occasions via text, and never called me to reschedule. I tried to call several times, and was told someone would call me back..... they never did! I saw my Primary Care doctor for my annual, and he also assessed that what I was seeing as a lump of fat that should have been removed, was indeed the case. When I eventually saw the surgeon his attitude was very blasé regarding my concerns of my lumpy stomach area, and said it was 'the best outcome I could expect!!" He was all about disregarding my claim that the marks in my skin were from the sharpie he used, but agreed that he would have me back in to get rid of them! Someone was supposed to call me to book me in to have the fix, but you guessed it, NO ONE CALLED!! I again tried calling to get an appointment and on 3 occasions got told someone would call me back!! Eventually someone called, said they were still trying to 'work out schedules, but will call me back'..... over a month later, still no call, still no fix and still very unhappy with my results! Did I expect my results to be better, YES! The ad's, the staff etc, all give the impression that you will have AMAZING results!!!! Did I expect better customer service and post op care, YES OF COURSE I DID!!!!!! It is no small chunk of change to pay for this kind of procedure, and very scary for some of us!! Do I regret it? ABSOLUTLEY!! I have permanent marks within my skin, and a lump of fat that is very obvious on one side! I could name names, but would that make me feel any better? Probably not!!!!! This review is just to make sure others don't have to go through the same awful experience!!!

He told me that's typical for liposuction and I believed it was just the risk I took with surgery... until I googled "liposuction hips before after" and saw amazing, smooth, natural-looking result after another and I'm devastated. I'm 27 and have spent my 20s feeling miserable and ashamed whenever I wear a bathing suit because it's so obvious I've had botched surgery. I'd rather be fatter than I've ever been than look like this. Sevinor is incredibly insensitive and has no regard for the emotional toll of having cosmetic surgery. He was late arriving to surgery and started the surgery over 1 hour late. He had told my friend he would come out and let her know when surgery was done, but he had rushed off for his weekend plans so she thought something went really wrong when hours had gone by with no word and no one was giving her information. He's proud to use the original method of liposuction without realizing that that makes it antiquated and worse than new and improved methods. Sevinor's office staff are bimbo barbies with plastic faces and fake boobs up to their chins who didn't know what they were talking about and kept changing their answers to my simple questions about the procedure, recovery, etc. I was already so disappointed from the moment I met him, but I figured his ego and abrasive manner was worth the great results I thought I'd get. I woke up in so much pain and needed to ask him questions and get instructions for recovery but I was told Sevinor left for the weekend right after my surgery. Some nurse gave me INCORRECT instructions for draining the tubes he left in me-- which he never told me was part of the process-- so when they say you can return to work a few days after the procedure, that's only if you can wear a huge sweatshirt to hide two big bottles and tubes hanging from your body. I also couldn't walk properly for weeks because he left so much scar tissue. It's 7 YEARS later and my body is still stiff and in pain from this surgery. I could look past all of Sevinor's ego and bad attitude if he had done a good job on the surgery, but he destroyed my body and confidence. I've been saving up money again and looking for a new doctor to fix it somehow, but they say they can't correct it because Sevinor took too much out in areas while leaving too much in other areas. So I have to either live looking like this and needing to be ashamed of my body and my bad decision forever, or go into another surgery not knowing how well it'll work, which will cost me additional thousands, general anesthesia, recovery time, scar tissue, etc. all over again.
