I can't say enough good things about Anna Bananas. The quality is like no other. Always the freshest most delicious baked goods here. Their Slutty cheesecake is incredible! Hands down my favorite dessert here. We've also ordered pies for the holidays and they were always the best you can buy. The staff working here is always friendly and answers any questions you might have. Gluten free and vegan options easily labeled and separated from items with gluten and dairy. Where to start, this bakery is incredible! The owner is beyond sweet and easy to communicate your visions with. There has not been a single request that she was unable to handle, and you can see the pride that she puts into her work. If you have never been to bakery itself, it's a must stop. It is much more than a bakery with offers of saltwater taffy, nostalgic candies, and Jelly-Belly jellybeans! The bakery is so clean from the floors to the display cases, you could eat off of either of them! Now on to the actual baked goods! The slutty cheesecake is amazing; the blend of flavors is exquisite and make your tastebuds pop! During the summer she makes a veggie galette packed with robust flavors made with fresh vegetables that is to die for. Her custom cakes are top notch. There is nothing too small or too big for her to make your event that much sweeter. She made me a small custom Chocolate Peanut Butter cake with a peanut butter filling for my son's birthday and it was out of this world. The filling/frosting was a perfect balance of peanut butter and cream. The chocolate cake was rich and decadent. The combination of flavors blended perfectly! If you are a peanut butter fan this really is essential to try. Very smooth, light and sweet topping that just goes so damn well with the Oreo pie crust. Grabbed my birthday cupcakes and key lime pie. Cupcake cake was so stale and tasteless. The icing was bad as in spoiled. It tasted rancid! Key lime pie was very tart and limey which I personally love. But a lot of people enjoy it more sweet so take that into consideration. The pie crust could have been store bought honestly. They have HUGE shoes to fill with Cake That being the old cake/goodie shop in the plaza. They were incredible and on point every single time. Couple of months ago I went to this bakery for six cupcakes and six cookies... my bill was $61. What really put me off was the fact the bill wasn't high enough they had the audacity to ask whether I wanted to give a 10-15 or 20% tip. Are you kidding me! May I add? The person who waited on me had the personality of toast! So I heard...the cupcakes were delicious, the cookies were stale and completely tasteless. Anna Banana's is our favorite bakery in the area and trust me we've tried them all! They really went above and beyond on this one though... With just a couple of days notice (over the weekend as well), I asked them to create a special custom cake as part of a surprise engagement for my then girlfriend and now fiancee. They went above and beyond in their creativity and attention to detail and helped bring my vision to life. Not to mention the cake was absolutely delicious. I ordered a cake for my daughters christening this Saturday. It was suppose to be an open book cross on one side and god bless charlotte on the other. The god bless Charlotte was barely legible. when they closed the lid on the cake the lettering stuck to the top honest mistake. Then when we cut open the cake the cannoli filling was not even an inch thick. spending 150 on a cake that had no filling is insane. I will never order from here again.
