We ordered a cake from Anna Bananas Bakery for our daughter's baptism. I sent some inspo picks and communication was super easy. We ordered Funfetti cake with cannoli filling. It was absolutely out of this world, delicious! We got so many compliments on how good it was. It was also super affordable. The cake was absolutely beautiful and more than I even imagined! I highly suggest Anna Bananas for any future event!
Where to start, this bakery is incredible! The owner is beyond sweet and easy to communicate your visions with. There has not been a single request that she was unable to handle, and you can see the pride that she puts into her work. If you have never been to bakery itself, it's a must stop. It is much more than a bakery with offers of saltwater taffy, nostalgic candies, and Jelly-Belly jellybeans! The bakery is so clean from the floors to the display cases, you could eat off of either of them! Now on to the actual baked goods! The slutty cheesecake is amazing; the blend of flavors is exquisite and make your tastebuds pop! During the summer she makes a veggie galette packed with robust flavors made with fresh vegetables that is to die for. Her custom cakes are top notch. There is nothing too small or too big for her to make your event that much sweeter. She made me a small custom Chocolate Peanut Butter cake with a peanut butter filling for my son's birthday and it was out of this world. The filling/frosting was a perfect balance of peanut butter and cream. The chocolate cake was rich and decadent. The combination of flavors blended perfectly! Overall, this bakery exceeded my expectations and am so happy my family found this gem!!!
To start this establishment goes over and above to assist! The treats are just as amazing. I've purchased 2 special order cakes and OMG from the design, taste, & thr look on the guest of honors face was unforgettable! Definitely grab a cupcake and the cake bites are on point. I've lived all over and never found a bakery that tastes like a big city bakery with decades of experience. You have a customer for life...Keep up the quality, customer service, and heart in it..... you will never be without appreciative customers who think of you as family!
A little sparkle for a fresh start! Huge shoutout to @annabananasbakerynj for bringing my vision to life with this amazing divorce cake. Not only did it taste like heaven (red velvet + cream cheese, yes please!), but the design was everything! From the bold colors to the perfect details, this cake made my celebration even sweeter. If you need a custom cake for any occasion, go check her out--she's the best! #BetterDaysAhead #DivorceCake #NewBeginnings
The store had a cute decor with a candy station & even had candles and soaps in dessert shapes I was service by a very friendly and informative employee. Making my choices much easier. Pricing as most things are a little high but the flavors were there. My favorites were the peanut butter cheesecake, macaroons & the s'mores cookie.
I just ordered a cake for my daughters birthday and it was absolutely perfect. My daughter wanted a simple white cake with funfetti inside and buttercream filling and frosting. Their staff and service is great and they really do their best to accommodate your requests. The cake was delicious and I will definitely be back again.
I'm not saying there weren't any "misses" during my sweep of Thanksgiving desserts that I picked up at this bakery but the Peanut Butter pie is one of the best I've ever had. If you are a peanut butter fan this really is essential to try. Very smooth, light and sweet topping that just goes so damn well with the Oreo pie crust. The whip cream around the edges sealed the deal. Service is always stellar here too !!
I had the most gorgeous cake made for my baby shower on 2/4/24! I was blown away by how gorgeous the cake looked & how it was decorated (we showed a few pics but I mostly wanted them to use their creativity) & it was soooo much better than I ever expected. They were an absolute pleasure to work with also & very fast with communication. The cake tasted amazing and we got a lot of compliments on it!! Thank you so much! I will definitely be coming back for any other bakery needs
I so far have no idea what the other reviews are about. I'm very picky especially being from NY. The cookies are outrageous! Chocolate chip cookie stuffed with brownie, chocolate chip cookie stuffed with brownie with a coconut top like a macaron, chocolate chip cookie with potato chip sprinkle, and sugar cookie with sprinkles. That's literally a mouthful!
Grabbed my birthday cupcakes and key lime pie. Cupcake cake was so stale and tasteless. The icing was bad as in spoiled. It tasted rancid! Key lime pie was very tart and limey which I personally love. But a lot of people enjoy it more sweet so take that into consideration. The pie crust could have been store bought honestly. They have HUGE shoes to fill with Cake That being the old cake/goodie shop in the plaza. They were incredible and on point every single time. I really don't know if I'd give them another shot at this point.

I can't say enough good things about Anna Bananas. The quality is like no other. Always the freshest most delicious baked goods here. Their Slutty cheesecake is incredible! Hands down my favorite dessert here. We've also ordered pies for the holidays and they were always the best you can buy. The staff working here is always friendly and answers any questions you might have. Gluten free and vegan options easily labeled and separated from items with gluten and dairy. Highly recommended and worth the money if you're skeptical of their pricing. Everything is awesome here! read more

Anna Banana's is our favorite bakery in the area and trust me we've tried them all! They really went above and beyond on this one though... With just a couple of days notice (over the weekend as well), I asked them to create a special custom cake as part of a surprise engagement for my then girlfriend and now fiancee. They went above and beyond in their creativity and attention to detail and helped bring my vision to life. Not to mention the cake was absolutely delicious. My fiancee was blown away when she saw it AND when she tasted it! Jessica and her team not only do great work but they're all terrific people to boot. Thank you all so much for helping to make it such a memorable night for us! read more

I ordered a cake for my daughters christening this Saturday. It was suppose to be an open book cross on one side and god bless charlotte on the other. The god bless Charlotte was barely legible. when they closed the lid on the cake the lettering stuck to the top honest mistake. Then when we cut open the cake the cannoli filling was not even an inch thick. spending 150 on a cake that had no filling is insane. I will never order from here again. I have had better cakes from ShopRite and Costco. I was so sad because I was very excited over the cake until I saw it. read more
