The facility is extremely clean, they have activities for all ages, and the owners are there often and extremely involved in day to day operational . My sons always come home excited to show us the new craft they made while there for the evening. We've used KidsPark for date nights and weekday school closures and it's always been a lifesaver. I can't recommend this drop in childcare center enough and hope to be able to continue bringing my boys here for years to come!

I am writing this review to share my family's experience so other parents can make informed…read moredecisions. My daughter attended Primrose until December 2025. We ultimately withdrew her after ongoing concerns about communication, follow-through, and basic care. The first time I was told that my daughter was experiencing "severe, daily issues" in her classroom was on 11/13/25, when the owner, Susan Burrow, stated that she was overwhelmed at school and unable to keep up with peers. This was surprising, as her teachers had consistently reported that she was having good days with only occasional incidents. The following day (11/14/25), I met with the Assistant Director, Blanne Burrow, to discuss simple, low-effort strategies that could help support my daughter when she became overstimulated. He took notes, and I sent a follow-up email summarizing our discussion. Later that afternoon, I received a call from the owner stating that none of the accommodations worked, despite it being only a few hours since our initial conversation. She also requested an "updated" diagnosis for my daughter's autism. I had to explain to a childcare provider that autism is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disability and that the diagnostic criteria do not expire. On 11/21/25, I followed up with my daughter's lead teacher to ask whether the suggested accommodations had been shared with her. She could only recall one item, which made it clear the list had not been communicated or implemented in any real way, despite assurances that these strategies had already been attempted. There were also two separate occasions when I discovered that my daughter had not been changed for an extended period, resulting in soaked clothing and irritation: * 11/26/24: I noticed at home that she was still wearing the pull-up I had put on her that morning. It was fully saturated, her pants were wet, and she had had a bowel movement that caused irritation. I reported this immediately to the director and her teachers. * 10/1/25: I noticed the same situation when picking her up--wet pants, soaked pull-up, and a bowel movement. I brought her back inside to be cleaned and informed her teachers and the front desk, and notified the director the next day. These were not isolated communication issues. They became a pattern of concerns regarding transparency, follow-through, and basic care expectations. After weeks of trying to collaborate and advocate, we made the difficult decision to withdraw. After speaking with several staff members, I learned that my experience was not an isolated case. I was told that Primrose has pressured other families to withdraw children who fall outside what the school views as 'the norm.' I also learned that staff are not given any training on how to work with children who have special needs, despite repeated requests from teachers for that support. Every child deserves to feel supported, safe, and cared for at school. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

She's has moved up 3 times as they move up every few months to accommodate the ever changing developmental stages. We love the staff and the teachers and feel 100% safe with our daughter being there. My four year old started Kindergarten Readiness in an Elementary school. That means his schedule was the same as a third graders and a huge transition to say the least. At first he wouldn't talk, play, or eat. Lunches and snacks came home untouched. He would cry when I would come to get him and not let go even after we arrived home. Add on top of all of that, he has a special diet. He is allergic to many types of food and the ones he is not allergic to are highly limited (like sugar). The school and staff work with me on his diet as well as our religion. We do not celebrate "mainstream holidays". An example would be Santa or the Easter Bunny. Mrs. Amy and the staff have gone out of their way to make sure my son is included in activities without compromising our religious beliefs. When I pick up my child now, he asks why did I come so early. He brings home art and when I sneak in the room to watch him, he is laughing and playing. He is eating better and asks for snacks. He has grown sooooo much and I know he would not have blossomed if it wasn't for a caring and nurturing teacher like Mrs. Amy. Mrs. Amy has also helped me transition. She updates me on my son and answers my "is he normal" questions. She lets me know when he is acting out and she doesn't sugar coat it.This, above all, I appreciate. I am a single SINGLE mom. I am all that my son has. She corrects him in love and lets me know what she said as well as exactly what he did to deserve correction. From a single mom's point of view....Hallelujah,I am not the only one trying to mold my son to become a responsible, respectful man; Mrs. Amy is helping AND guiding me!!! She is always kind, loving, and she has the natural gift of genuine childcare. She notices when my child is absent, She notices when something is wrong, and she cares enough to take a moment to talk to me. This is the type of teacher a parent longs for.

I won't go into all the details, but believe you me it has been reported and it will be investigated. As a someone in healthcare it is out of scope for someone that is NOT in the medical field to diagnosis and/or give medical advise if they are not the child's PCP or a professional in that field to diagnosis. I would highly recommend asking before you enroll your child what qualifications are needed for the teachers and what kind of training are they required to complete for employment. There were inconsistancies in what the teacher reported and what the owner told us. She was angry due to the incident that happened in the class room which require a work comp claim. That information should not have been disclosed to the parents. It is a requirement for employers to carry workcomp insurance for accidents that may occur. I really hope and pray that the staff get more training on how to appropriately care for children who may require more time to adjust to daycare or needed more guidance. I would recommend the owner also read up on and gain more knowledge about the ADA (American with Disability Act) and get familiar with it. Labeling a child as behavorial and/or accusing parents of a lack of parenting skills is offensive and unnecessary. I hope this never happens to anyone else. Of note , the parents are very involved in the child's life and took all the appropriate steps including parent meetings, interventional solutions at home, reinforcements, and referrals to speech therapy to eval the child's needs. This was explained to the daycare and they were aware of this. This is our experience which was not a good one. Both children were pulled from this facility due to the actions of the owner and the hostile actions she displayed. The male owner, however appeared to be more compassionate and did listen to our concerns and remained calm. That is why they get a 1 star.

Our son had a hard time in schools due to being abused by a teacher very briefly and very early on (age 2). That school is now shut down, thankfully. The only way we found out about it (our son was not able to express the abuse yet) is because the teachers apologetically told us they would restrain him physically and would pull him out from tables he was hiding under (from them) by his FEET! We saw all of these things on camera. They are not exaggerated , even though its crazy to think anyone could treat a 3-4 year old child this way.. My son was assaulted by multiple teachers at this school when he attended this school briefly. Early on the owners were professional and seemed knowledgeable about caring for other people's children, they were also our friends of several years. It seems the husband is much more savvy and caring than the wife - the wife should not run any business, much less one with as much impact as childcare has. 1) The first time it happened (teacher being rough with him and putting hands on him), the teacher was fired. -moved to another classroom- 2) The second time it happened (teacher grabbed him by his ear and pulled him so hard that he tripped over a chair and was then placed into a corner once he got up), we were given a sob story of how sorry the teacher was. How she had never done anything like that before and it was the best teacher they had... -moved to another classroom- 3) The third time it happened, it was the owners SISTER (married couple who have a son who has similar issues which is why they opened their own daycare in the first place) manhandled our son and yanked him around and yanked him out of the classroom and made him lay on the ground in the hall where he laid with his face down crying for several minutes. We imminently picked up our son and got him out of there. The owner/wife returned that weeks tuition and no apology was ever given. We wish the husband had been at the Murfreesboro location the entire time. He was very good with him and was very patient and knew exactly what to do and was far more professional. But the wife, she seemed like the had more important things to do and seemed dismissive, careless and impulsive. The third time listed above was after I spoke to the wife/owner and tried to find a way to effectively work together with the teachers so our son could be successful and one of the many shocking things she said to me was that she explained how we had been given "special treatment" already and that our son deserved to be handled the way he was by their teachers. Honesely, we should have reported this abuse to DCS the first time and never come back. I could go on... but I think this is enough to explain why I would never recommend anyone leave their child in the care of this day care. There is a stark difference between those who get into this business for money and who get into it to nurture our future leaders. It has been nearly 2 years since he left this school and our son is doing very well and *excelling* now that he has been consistently in a good school with loving, educated, knowledgeable teachers. And now the owners are "offended" over a harmless fun T-Shirt?! I knew our society had become weak and a cancel culture, but to punish a FIVE YEAR OLD?!!!! Absolutely absurd! The owners are clearly pushing their personal agendas on to young children and their families now!
