My experience meeting with Dr. Mansour can best be described as demeaning and insensitive. She was very unprofessional in her comments and demeanor. When coming in for help with pain,discomfort and other issues after an ER visit that they wanted me to find an OB immediately for help and follow up. I was repeat talked over,rushed, and dismissed when trying to explain my health history and the situation after waiting almost an hour past scheduled time. after filling out the intake form that i wrote i am on birth control she just stated she wanted me on it and that's all she can do. which i told her i already was, she should've known from forms she has you fill out. I typically don't write reviews, but I feel strongly about sharing this for anyone considering Dr. Mansour especially if you're dealing with ongoing chronic pelvic pain. I was a patient here for a few years and was consistently bringing up my 12+ years of pain and persistent symptoms, including concerns about potential endometriosis. My appointments felt rushed, and I did not feel listened to at all. She would not take my symptoms seriously and just continued telling me to take birth control to cover my symptoms, despite me telling her that birth control was negatively affecting my mental health. Dr. Mansour not being able to formally diagnose endometriosis was not the issue- what was concerning was that I was never referred to or encouraged to see a specialist. Instead, I was repeatedly told I was "fine," despite ongoing symptoms. After seeking a second opinion from an endometriosis specialist, I underwent surgery and was diagnosed with stage IV deep endometriosis, including involvement of my bladder and bowels. Left unaddressed, this could have progressed further and potentially impacted my fertility. If you are a current or prospective patient dealing with chronic pain, I would strongly encourage you to advocate for yourself and consider other options if you feel your concerns are being dismissed, and to avoid this practice. read more

When she entered the room, she was pretty friendly but when I told her about my concerns, I think she was trying to be funny, which in a way she was....but the more I thought about it, I think she was being a bit condescending; so maybe not the best bedside manner in my humble opinion. SIX YEAR OVERDUE UPDATE: I was on Yelp reviewing some other businesses and I stumbled upon my past review of Dr Mansour and realized I never updated it after the birth of my daughter 6 years ago. Details are a little fuzzy now, but I couldn't recommend her more. She allowed me to attempt a VBAC which (spoiler alert) after 30some hours in labor ended in another c section on Christmas Eve of all days. Dr Mansour was ever so patient, calming, and wonderful during this experience that could have been traumatic but wasn't. Not to mention when she showed up at the hospital it was clear she had come from a holiday celebration to check on me. She even returned to the hospital on Christmas itself to check up on me, and ask how my baby was as she was in the NICU for a few days. My only regret from my births is not getting a photo of her with my babies- she was an absolute lifesaver (quite possibly literally), and I hope she's not shocked if someday I show up with an 8 and 6 year old hoping for a photo with the woman I entrusted with our lives! I came in to specifically address a particular concern and the doctor prescribed antibiotics without any tests/labs done. Which, of course, didn't help with my issue. Turned out that the issue was caused my IUD (copper-Paragard), and the problem went away literally overnight after I got it removed. I am stunned that the doctor hasn't even advised that the IUD was causing that. There's no way the doctors don't know about their side effects. Before coming here, you should be aware that Dr. Mansour does not treat missed miscarriages. My 8 week ultrasound with Dr. Mansour showed no heartbeat and it appeared that I had miscarried about 10 days prior (the pregnancy measured 6.5 weeks) but had no symptoms. She told me that if I wanted to use medication or surgery to complete the miscarriage, that she would refer me to Planned Parenthood as she does not do surgery for miscarriage and she refused to prescribe medication. She did not even have another doctor whom she knew to refer me to. To be clear, I am not talking about an abortion. I am talking about a wanted, planned, pregnancy that did not have a heart beat. If you want a doctor who provides comprehensive care and will not refer you to Planned Parenthood if you lose your pregnancy, you should look elsewhere. Also, I still received a bill from Dr. Mansour. So I had to pay for the appointment with her and then for a second appointment with a doctor who actually takes care of patients who miscarry. read more

Seems my review was taken down so I will share again, people need to know that women are having these kinds of experiences with their doctors and that there is hope out there. My experience with Dr Mansour was TRAUMATIZING. I went in because I was having severe pain which is felt was potentially endometriosis. She was rude, dismissive to say the least and I was crying in her office because of how she was treating me. When I was complaining of severe pain, she told me I needed to buy a dildo essentially and practice on myself until I no longer had pain(she showed me by sitting in the chair and putting her legs up in the air), she insinuated that I maybe was having mental health issues.She told me that there's no way that I had endometriosis and that the only thing she would do is give me birth control despite me telling her I had tried this before. I was so infuriated with my experience I went and found an endometriosis specialist and sure enough I had stage 4 endometriosis that had spread to my organs. I had a radical hysterectomy just months later where they found endometriosis EVERYWHERE. You know you are being treated poorly when the doctor leaves the room and the PA gives you a hug and apologizes or how you were just treated. read more

Doctor Mansour delivered my baby a few months back and I'm just now getting to write my review. She's very kind, she did amazing with my c section. My problem with this office. First I got Covid while I was under her care. She would not see me so the last 7 weeks of my pregnancy she didn't see me one time. Even though by cdc guidelines you can be around people 10 days after symptoms start. she required a negative Covid test. I think this office could do better. We are in the middle of a global pandemic. Thank god my baby was ok. I read horrible things happening to babies when they had Covid. I think she has too many patients. She spends minimal time with you. I definitely think she's kind and again she preformed my C section flawlessly. My second complaint is definitely the women that works in the front office. I could have been given a courtesy call ahead of time to save us both the time and the effort. Dr. Mansour was and is the best. My wife and I are going to miss the prenatal visits! A few things... Dr Mansour is direct and straightforward. She will tell your wife, explicitly, if she needs to eat less or gain more weight. My wife got the flu while pregnant and Dr. Mansour, as compassionate as she was, was very direct when telling my wife she needed to gain weight after dropping 4 lbs in a week. We loved this about her! But that style is not appropiate for everyone and if you want to be coddled during prengnacy Dr. Mansour is not for you. A few reviews pointed out that her visits are short. That is true! And we loved that! She checked the baby and as prengnacy progressed, spent time to go over each and every question. If you want a lengthy visit that goes over info that can be Googled, look elsewhere! During delivery, Dr. Mansour was incredible. The nurses never needed to wait for a call back. She spoke to the immediately, which was amazing. My wife and I love Dr. Mansour. She is a compassionate human who loves childbirth. If you can "deal" with her demeanor, which we considered positives, don't look elsewhere. read more

I just moved to the area a few months ago and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year. In my initial appointment last week, I told Dr. Mansour, I had PCOS and I also have an allergy to estrogen in Birth Control. I felt like I was rushed through the entire appointment and that she didn't listen to really anything I had to say. She immediately put me on birth control to try and "fix my PCOS" and I got to day 3 on it and had an allergic reaction... I wanted to sit down and talk to her about my complete health history to get better answers and she didn't really ask me any questions or didn't seem to care about my history. The only reason I give her a 3 star is because she is nice, and gentle and she seems well educated, but I just wish she wasn't so pushy and I wish she had listened to me from the beginning! I chose Dr. Mansour as my OBGYN to deliver my baby after doing some research and learning that a lot of people felt that she was the best. Aside from being highly recommended I wanted my experience to be with one doctor along the whole process (monthly visits and delivery) as well as choosing female. I saw the bad reviews on yelp talking about the long wait times during appointments. That did not deter me from choosing her simply because that should not be a reason why you don't go with a doctor. I don't know how people can be so high maintenance when it comes to dr visits. It's not like any other experience where you can complain and get your way and get frustrated if your scheduled appointment time is being pushed back. If you end up waiting longer than expected it's most likely for good reason ex: she's delivering a baby, having an emergency happen with one of her patients, etc. Think of it like this, when you go out to eat do you like going to restaurants that are completely empty or packed with people and even lines? My birth story: I had uterine fibroids and I didn't even know it till I had my first fetal scan. Boy was I grateful that I had such a talented doctor handling my high risk case. If you don't know what fibroids are they are non cancerous tumors that grow in the uterus mine grew with all the hormones of the pregnancy I had multiple and two were about the size of a fist. It was really scary learning that I had this and that it could prevent the growth of the baby. Dr. Mansour has me see a specialist over at Rady's and they monitored the growth of the baby each month to ensure that the baby was growing fine. Baby grew great, I had to be induced at 41 weeks because the baby was not coming on his own, and had a few complications during my pregnancy. During my induction it took a long time to dilate and after 35 hours we decided to do an emergency C section to get the baby out. Dr. Mansour made me feel like she was there every step of the way and doing everything she could to keep baby and I safe. My life was in her hands and she got me and baby out of the delivery room safe. I am so grateful for her and her years of experience and am glad that she was my Dr during this whole process. The is my review of Doctor Mansour AFTER the birth of my child. Simply put, she's wonderful! Caveat: *Initially, I was scheduled to go to West Coast OBGYN; however, when booking my appointment, I learned that for pregnant women, one must go to the doctor monthly, then bi-monthly when one close to the delivery date. I learned that West Coast OBGYN there are 5 different doctors and 5 different nurse practitioners and the patient doesn't have an option selecting a doctor for their childbirth and 1/2 of the appointments would be with a nurse practitioner. I don't have a problem seeing a nurse practitioner or different doctors for myself for annual check-ups, treating a cold or flu, but for me, it was very important to have the same doctor throughout my pregnancy that would also deliver my baby (barring any emergencies, vacations, etc.). That was important to me. After the birth, I feel as though Dr. Mansour is a part of my family. I see her at least 1-2 times per year, she always asks about my child...I'd invite her to my Bar/Bat Mitzvah or Quinceanera, she's that great. Linda S. commented that she is the perfect combination of compassion and intelligence--I have to 100% agree with this sentiment. Dr. Mansour is a class act. By the way, I posted a review of Dr. Mansour before my child was born sharing my experiences with my monthly appointments, front office staff, etc. Dr. Mansour totally helped me to have the birth that I wanted. She was so encouraging and AMAZING throughout the process. She really worked with me and my family to make sure that all of my wishes we honored. She was so understanding and patient. I wanted to have the following for my birth: 1.) A Vaginal birth (versus a C-section) 2.) A flexible plan with meds (I ended up having an epidural, after 18 hours of labor, I thought it was best for me) 3.) I wanted a very close family member to be the photographer / videographer to document the birth. 4.) I wanted husband to cut the umbilical cord and announce the sex of the baby 5.) Want to have a champagne toast and cigars (chocolate) to celebrate after delivery 6.) I wanted to have a flexible birth plan My post-pregnancy appointments have been great--the office helped me to get a high quality breast pump and Dr. Mansour now does my women yearly check-ups. She was ALSO AMAZING with helping me take adequate time off of work (using sick days, maternity leave, etc.) to take care of my baby for the first three months of my baby's life.
