Who knew there was a dispensary in Highland Park? I must've been living under a rock because this place opened earlier in 2024. I didn't go inside since I forgot my ID at home, but my hubby checked it out and told me they have at least a dozen glass containers filled with different strains, all kept under compressed air. When you push a button, the fragrance is released directly into your nostrils. That's definitely a unique experience! There's a private parking lot adjacent to the pickup window for online orders, situated behind the main building. The first order was 25% off everything. Great perk!

This Highland Park dispensary is really one of the best I've seen anywhere; for NJ it definitely sets the bar high (pun intended) with the well thought out customer experience, kiosks with a bar full of available flower products that are accessible to customers via small acrylic containers attached to retractable cords that you lift off the display base that activate the computer screen that shows you a full profile and description of each strain, and a push button top that allows you to smell the product! Its very cool, and gives you a personal experience beyond the many other pad driven kiosks where you can enter your orders in the front vestibule. Selection and sales are another reason to visit- a point system that gives you a great discount as you accumulate points, and a daily special that can be found on the website and I will post below. Each month you also accumulate two free accessories- papers, humidifier packs (keeps flower fresh), small pipes and incense (sadly I haven't seen the last two offered for a few weeks). The strains and prices are very good, concentrates, edibles including craft chocolates, and something I've never seen Kosher weed! Which is fitting considering Highland Park's large Jewish population. This place puts all of the dispensaries I've visited to shame! Warm and inviting, great staff and selection, great incentives with sales and a Tuesday discount of 25% to Highland Park residents make this a go to spot for locals and worth the trip for nearby connoisseurs of Cannabis products.

Can always count on Anja for quality products and knowledgeable staff - my favourite part of the store experience is the bud bar.

Puffin Dispensary - New Brunswick, NJ…read more Right across from Rutgers, Puffin NJ is a low-key but stylish dispensary that makes a strong first impression. The space is fancy, well-decorated, and welcoming--even for someone like me who's never bought legal cannabis before. I walked in feeling intimidated, but the staff helped ease my anxiety with solid product recommendations tailored to focus and calm. Unfortunately, one product--Pomegranate Pearls from Grön--didn't sit well with my wife. She experienced a sudden wave of hot and cold flashes and ended up getting sick after we got home. We tried calling the store, but couldn't get through. Later, we were told returns must be made within 7 days, which is tough when you're coming from Long Island. I had to reach out to the company directly for support. Despite that hiccup, I'm still giving Puffin 4 stars. The customer service was great, the location is convenient, and the other products were solid. If you're new to cannabis or just want a chill, well-run spot near Rutgers, Puffin is worth checking out. Just be mindful of how your body reacts and ask questions before buying edibles. I have never had an issue until Wednesday, July 15th. I had a disappointing/experience with the ounce I purchased and the way it was (not) handled. I was sold flower that the Silverleaf website lists as 38.58% total THC: 34.66% THC with THCa bringing total THC 38.66%. What I got was flower labeled 34.66.% total THC. THCa was not listed. I called the dispensary to discuss and ended up speaking to the manager. He started by condescendingly explaining how THCa works not once, but several times. I am well aware of how it works! I finally had to interrupt him from "explaining" it again to tell him my actual complaint. The label on the product DOES NOT include THCa as an ingredient. He then "explained" (made up) how the grower can choose to list or not list THCa as an ingredient at their discretion. I told him this makes no sense! Why would a grower indicate the total THC is lower on the label than it was advertised on purpose?! He offered no explanation for that. When I told him I was very dissatisfied, he offered no apology or compensation for this misrepresentation of the product. He "explained" that he nor Silverleaf apparently has no control or influence to change false advertising. I asked him if he was saying it was not his/Silverleaf's fault (problem) and he could not (would not) do anything about it. He confirmed it with silence. Needlesstosay I am still far from satisfied. BTW - I checked. NJ state law, DOES, in fact, REQUIRE that growers list THCa on the label. It is NOT left to the grower's discretion. Essentially, the manager/owner(?) was just making things up to get rid of me. Extremely unprofessional. Frankly, he sounded bored. Sadly, moving forward, I will need to check to confirm I am getting what was advertised when (if) I order again. I can no longer trust this dispensary to sell me a product as advertised.
