I chose Dr. Bright because I liked her name, which is a stupid reason to pick a doctor but researching doctors is hard so there we are. First, she's young- this was the first time I've had a doctor about my age- and it was AWESOME. From my cyst removal to my labs to my physical Dr. Bright was incredibly professional, kind, and just knew her stuff. She's also a great listener. When I say she's a great listener I don't mean "for a doctor" (a miracle in itself) but as a person. If you're looking for a great person to be your doctor who knows her stuff, is kind, and listens to what you need look no further. As for her staff they were all kind, professional, and respectful. I've been in three times so far and encountered 5 different folks that helped with scheduling, medical assistant, etc and they were all great. I especially liked Latanza.

He seems to have grown more cautious, formulaic, and by the book over the years, and not for the better. In addition, the office seems to have lost whatever customer service edge it formerly had. Example: I got a reminder for an annual checkup, and called in immediately to schedule only to find out the earliest appointment = 5+ weeks out. When I did have to get in sooner recently (due intense out of the blue back spasms), he seemed generally skeptical of my symptoms until I nearly collapsed in his office while attempting to demonstrate my lack of mobility due to my condition. The NA and front desk staff also seem rather nonchalant these days. Thanks for your prior good service, and I hope you pick up your game for the sake of future patients/customers.

The building is in the proctor neighborhood and the waiting room is very quaint and old school. No TVs or loud music, but a little bookcase full of books (including kids) and a play table for toddlers. Everyone was nice. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes before being brought back to a room. Dr. Loomis was patient, professional and relaxed. I felt like he was taking his time and actually listening to me. He made a few appropriate, helpful recommendations for my health and had good bedside manner. That's all I can ask for. Oh and they offer pelvic exams and Pap tests in office, so I can bundle my next check ups. Super convenient!

She billed my insurance as if I went to discuss migraines because I answered her health history questionnaire. I did no go to discuss my migraines nor did we discuss treatment for them. My final takeaway is to not answer health history forms because just admitting you have a history of something gives them the motivation to bill the visit as if they treated you for the problem. The business office for Fransician has been very difficult to work with as well. I am now 8 months past the date of my visit and I am still needing to fix their billing mistakes. Outside of coding/billing issues, I did not enjoy the care I received. I have seen her twice and I found her to be very pushy about the flu vaccine and I felt like I was being lectured as if I were a child regarding sleep, diet, and exercise. It may be that she is trying to be informative but it was a major turn off for me. I would like for my provider to discuss the things I want to talk about and to respect my decisions without me having to justify them.
