If you have health issues, she will do everything that she can do, to find out what the causation of the symptoms are, by ordering laboratory tests, providing referrals to appropriate specialists and ordering imaging such as CT-Scans, MRI's, X-Rays, and other radiological imaging. She goes over the lab results & discusses your diagnosis and explains what your options are, so that you are informed. I would like to recommend Jennifer Leary as a great health professional. She is now my designated Health Provider with my insurance. They are located in the downtown area of Reno, Nevada. However, he ultimately sent in the prescription for tamoxifen I had requested. I'm now starting treatment and hopeful it will help prevent further progression while I address the root cause. He listened to my concerns, reviewed my labs, and provided the medication once the additional testing was complete. The nurse practitioners are knowledgeable but if you have a non-standard case then it can be frustrating to try and convey what is happening, especially if they're not familiar with specific/certain cardiac conditions. If your issue is minimal or more of a textbook diagnosis then you can probably see an NP in 1-2 months but the cardiologist/EP appointment scheduling windows are at least the 3-4 months out mentioned earlier. Highly recommended for most non-urgent cases. The receptionists/office staff sometime seem overwhelmed but it's understandable due to the uptick in patients from Reno's recent population boom.

Now that I have a new primary- his suggestion to establish and revisit with a new cardiologist. Staff and office very professional and friendly. My scheduled visit with Dr. To was good. They did an EKG and he went over the results. Great news everything looks great!.. I'll be changing and eliminating one prescription and will do a recheck in three months..
