The procedure went smooth everything has been described in details. I shouldn't watch youtube videos on the procedure which was scary, everything was completely opposite. This was my first surgery ever and I had thousand questions about every steps and consequences after but they answered all of them with their life experience which is highly valuable. Highly recommend Kaiser and dr Stearns for the surgery with super confidence. The only thing he was so busy (guess why? :) yup, high demand) so you might have to wait but believe me it worth it. Recovery process was so much easier than I thought, didn't even use strongest drugs which was also given. Just follow rules and the schedule described at discharge paper and all be fine. The hospital has very caring nurses who always explained to me exactly what they were giving me in the way of medication while I was at the hospital. What was the most impressive was Dr. Grove's respect and consideration for my religious choices. He reassured me that he could accomplish what was needed without the use of whole blood products and he did just so! I healed much quicker than I expected, with minimal pain and he released me from his care within a month of a complicated, serious surgical procedure. She'll find the trigger points to my pain, with on it for a bit and then give me a workout to strengthen whatever issues I have. I'll ask, if I wanted to do this at home, how would I do this and she will give me recommendations on how to go about it. I feel stronger than when I first started. They're pretty accommodating with scheduling. Insurance is accepted but always double check. There's plenty of parking in front of the office. I see those all the time and they really torque me. The review was supposed to be for a PRODUCT, not for the "delivery service". This review is supposed to be specifically about Doctor Sorkhi, not the office staff. One reviewer said that incompetence starts at the top. That is only true in a single-doctor practice where he personally hires his own staff. That is NOT the case with Doctor Sorkhi at Graybill. Graybill is a large company and he works for them. Graybill provides a shared staff. Please do not bash the doctor for something that is out of his control. Besides, I did not have any issues at all with the staff. Everyone was friendly and everything was smooth. Another problem these days is that people tend to be motivated to write when they are unhappy, but not so much when they are happy. I'm sure that Dr. Sorkhi has a lot of happy patients because he is an excellent surgeon with an easy-going personality. I am one of those happy patients. I urge other happy patients to write and help overcome the absurd negative reviews. My experience was excellent. I needed an emergency gallbladder removal. Dr. Sorkhi met with me ahead of time to discuss the procedure. He patiently answered all of my questions. The laparoscopic surgery was a complete success. I recovered quickly with very little pain at the surgical site and none of the shoulder pain that some people get from lap surgery. When I first came out of anesthesia Dr. Sorkhi was right there to reassure me that it went well and to answer any post-op questions I had. He also called my wife right after surgery to discuss it with her. She was pleased with that discussion. Both of us found him to be warm, sincere and competent. I give Dr. Sorkhi my full recommendation. Do not be turned away by incompetent reviewers.
