Tink a couple days after being seen!
Nevaeh G.

My pup Tinkerbell was in a car when it rolled, I was concerned about internal injuries and if anything was going on I couldn't see myself. It was after hours and I called a few places until I found these guys! They got me in that night and took care of my baby girl like she was one of their personal pets. They gave her medicine for the anxiety she was developing and an x-ray to double check that everything was okay. The next day they called to check on her and then a couple days later when I was concerned about her behavior, I called and the vet spoke with me. She asked for every little detail and reassured me that it was okay and walked me through what to look out for. I exclusively recommend this place now for emergency or urgent pet care!! Thank you for taking care of my pup!

My husband and I woke up on Dec 28 thinking we were heading out for Cancun in a few hours. Instead, we found a lethargic, thirsty cat who had vomited and was crying. I called AUC and they said to bring her right in and they could do an exam right away. After an exam, they could tell there was something off with her kidneys and she had some fluid in her abdomen and they needed to keep her to do some more tests. They ended up keeping our girl overnight, and provided an update midday and around 6pm. They let me know they had a Dr there 24/7 and that I could call anytime for an update. I called their bluff and called them around 1am and they let me know Monroe was sleeping peacefully and they'd call me between 6-8am. I received an update call at 6:30, was told they'd be doing bloodwork around 10 and I could expect another update by 11:30. That update call came and they said she was doing great, they just wanted to keep an eye on her and we'd hear from them around 5 about picking her up. I was very impressed by the constant communication. It's scary not knowing what's up with your fluffy little friend and they let me know what was going on, when I could expect an update, and made sure I understood what everything meant. When I took her to the only place open at that hour, I had to have some faith that they were going to be the best not just the only. They were absolutely amazing and I'm so thankful. Monroe now has a great new haircut and is doing amazing. Did she do this so we wouldn't leave town? Maybe. It does seem like she started perking up once she heard we canceled the trip. I guess next time we're taking her to Cancun with us.

Kimchi right after getting home from the vet feeling so much better.

My baby girl Kimchi had gotten into something she shouldn't have and got a nasty stomach bug and after rushing her in in the early hours of the morning I was greeted by the most caring, friendly, understanding, and sweet staff at this location. They were very honest and straightforward about the care she required and gave me so many options for her care. The vets were very knowledgeable and friendly and all the technicians were very helpful and sweet. They took amazing care of my baby girl and kept me informed the whole time. I loved that I could call day or night to check on her and they showed my pup so much love when I couldn't. Absolutely amazing experience!

Thank you, love Diggs.

I just wanted to reach out and say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I took my dog, Diggs into the Arvada location on Sunday, Feb 5th. He was neutered in the 31st and was starting to show extreme signs of discomfort. My dog has a tendency to be reactive and untrusting but your team did so well with his particular needs. They diagnosed him with a hematoma and an infection at the incision site. It's been two days and I see a significant change in my best friend. He is on the mend and I can't thank you enough for helping us and providing him the best care. We are forever thankful. Just had to give y'all a shout out.

I felt like we were in an assembly line. You have to wait for hours and all they do an estimate wanting more money for unnecessary testing.

Our nurse was Courtney and she was AMAZING!! Tynkerbell licked her and let her pet her, which she never does. Courtney's kind demeanor and very obvious compassion allowed my anxious, traumatized dog to trust her which means so much to me. Courtney also explained the whole process to me; she understood our situation and took the time and patience with Tynkerbell that she needs. Her friendliness and calmness made me feel assured that my dog was in great hands under their care- which is not something I feel often!! We were treated by Dr. Brandon Reynolds who was also very friendly and informative! He explained everything in great detail, and I felt confident that he would be able to find the right course of treatment for Tynkerbell. I would highly recommend him. Overall, I would recommend this clinic to anybody looking for quality emergency care. The staff was beyond helpful, caring and just wonderful. The clinic was very clean and tidy. There was no wait time, we were put in a room immediately! They made my dog feel comfortable, which is something she rarely feels around strangers and new places. Huge shout-out to Courtney! :) A big thank you also to Dr. Reynolds and the rest of the support staff for being mindful of my dog's special needs and putting me at ease!

The doctor was nice and explored what my cat would need at their facility as we had to transfer from the other Animal Urgent Care in Park Hill due to him needing hospitalization. The vet tech that came into to give the estimate was very rude and condescending. I was trying to figure out if my cat needed everything during the hospital stay because it's so expensive and I can go get some of the care at an extensively lower cost or free at the shelter I work at. She was so rude and was speaking to me like I was dumb when I asked about what each item was for and if it was needed; she was pretty much like well it wouldn't be on here if he didn't need it. They also made it seem like it would be "cheaper" and it was just as expensive as the original estimate. I had to walk away because I was so upset when I let her know her she was being condescending as she disregarded my feelings and said she wasn't using and sort of "tone". She also had made the comment "well does that mean there is going to be an issue paying the deposit". It's just so rude that I'm just trying to see if everything is needed and insinuating that I have a problem with paying. My boyfriend took over the rest and when he tried to look at her name tag she had taken it off. I get it's 2am but it's so disheartening to be treated that way, if you don't like your job or know how to be kind maybe don't work there. Totally opposite service and care that I received at the Park Hill location. I would not recommend this location due to its treatment from that staff, it felt very cruel. I will finish my care there because it was 2am and I didn't want to worry about driving around with my cat having just gotten an enema and needing more, but I will not be going back there after this visit. Update from 9/28 Walking in the next morning was a completely different experience. The front desk woman was so kind (I think her name started with a "S" or "C") and helped bring my spirits up from the previous experience. The discharge tech (different staff) was so kind, caring, and supportive. I could tell she genuinely cared about my kitty and expressed how happy she was to be able to meet and take care of him. She took her time to answer our questions and get us discharged. She and the desk supported me redeeming my view of this office. I appreciate the turn around and care and hope this the general experience for most.

They explained everything with great compassion, allowing us to make an informed decision about our dog's care. Unfortunately, her time is very near. Every person we talked to at Animal Urgent Care (AUC) was kind and caring. Losing a pet is a pain like no other. They are a part of your life and family. We know they can't be with us forever, but when their time does come, it's a blessing to be surrounded by people like those at AUC. This is actually the second pet we've taken in. Our kitty Popcorn was put down there last year. Now that the day is approaching with our Lexi, I can't imagine taking her anywhere else for her final moments. Not only are the doctors, techs, and desk staff awesome, but the services are also very reasonably priced, considering they offer emergency surgery, blood work, and ultrasounds. We highly recommend Animal Urgent Care North and feel blessed to have them in the community. One more thing: they get busy! They do a great job managing the many dogs and cats coming in. If you find yourself waiting for what feels like an unbearable amount of time, remember that someone else may be there with a pet in critical condition, and the staff is working hard to save its life. Be grateful your pet isn't as high on the priority list.

After finding a lump on my dogs throat, I was told by our vet to bring her to an oncology specialist - they recommended the team at CASE. I was able to get an appointment for the following week (very lucky! - most places had over a month wait). Our first visit was loaded with important information, and Dr. Galloway very graciously and patiently talked me through what was happening, what my options were, and with those options in mind, what was next. Within 24 hours, I had a diagnosis - supplemented with lab work, X-rays, and radiographs - and my pup had a spot on Dr. Prpich's surgery schedule for the following morning. If I had known at the time how much of a bada** surgeon Dr. Prpich is, I would have had the best sleep of my life... she removed a cancerous mass WRAPPED AROUND MY DOGS CAROTID ARTERY, among other things, and called me herself to let me know the surgery was successful. Upon picking up my pup, I received a printed and bound (!!) report concerning a treatment plan and her med schedule. Mesa and I went back for chemo appointments the following 3 months, and the front desk staff and vet techs were nothing short of completely delightful. On her last day of chemo, my pup came home with a bandana and a printed certificate to celebrate her last appointment; it was signed by all the staff, include Dr. Galloway, and yes, I rushed back to the car to have the happiest ugly cry at the thoughtfulness of it all. That is the IMMENSE level of competency you can expect from the oncology department at CASE. I hope you never have to make an oncology appointment for your pet, but if you do, I hope for the sake of you and your pet that you're able to make it here.
