They took their time with us to make sure they had all the information, and when she was cold they wrapped her in a warm towel. My dog was incredibly sick and feeble, and her previous vet didn't ask questions and treated her like a quota, sending us away in five minutes. ELVC fought for her just as hard as I did, and never gave up on her. They sent me a card when she passed away, and I still have the card hung up on my wall. Now Dr. Ebling takes care of my cat, Calcifer. Calcifer used to have a crippling fear of men, but Dr. Ebling is so gentle with him that he's not afraid at all! Thank you, ELVC! You're the best!

He definitely gets excited (positively) when we're pulling in the drive. It's almost like he's showing me what we're doing. And then, I'll pretend that I'm not jealous when the staff comes to greet him, and he is jumping out of my hold to meet them! LOL! Everyone at NanaNpaws makes me feel like they know my boy, and will take care of him. I also had the grooming service from Ms Kelly, twice. At around 7 months and recently at over 10 months. My cat (like most cats) hate car rides and hate vets offices. Dr Lori is a mobile vet based out of the Lansing area. I was a bit out of her normal service area but she still agreed to come out to my house. Having to put my cat to sleep was the hardest decision I have ever had to make. But being able to do it at home where my cat was not stressed or upset made it a bit easier and helped me feel less guilty. Dr Lori and her assistant (i cant remember her name but wish i could) were both very kind. They took the time to explain everything to me and also they allowed me as much time as i need to say goodbye to my cat. i never felt rushed at all. I honestly can not say enough good things about the them. I am so thankful i found them and they were able to help me and my cat. Setting up the appointment was very easy. I did it thru email (i was having a difficult time bringing myself to call so being able to email made it much easier for me, however u can also call to schedule appointment). They were right on time. I felt there prices were very reasonable and fair and really hardly any more than what i had been paying my normal vet. I would highly recommend Dr Lori . She was very professional and polite. They do almost everything that any vet office that you go to would do. Basically the only difference is there office is on wheels. Normally when they come to your house you take your pet outside and into there mobile unit (its kinda like a motor home) but because of the service i was having done they came into my home. I am forever grateful to Dr. Lori for being able to let my cat pass peacefully and stress free.

What was once a compassionate office that cared about animals, seems to now only care about the bottom dollar. We were first turned away when we voiced concerns about our cat who had a stomach procedure done started to drop weight fast and drool from her mouth shortly after. We were told they didn't have time and to go to Williamston. Upon arriving there they discovered her mouth full of cancer and were shocked she had just been at dvh so recently.. She was put to sleep the same day due to her pain. We made the decision to go back against our better judgement, but because I'd been going there for as long as I've been in DeWitt. Which brings us to today. Our 3 year old cat has been being checked regularly for what they deemed ibs through multiple blood test, one of which they encouraged us to send out to a specialist for over $300. No problem, I'll spend that to make sure my animal is ok. His face swelled today and he is acting lethargic. I called to see if we could be seen and after explaining symptoms the on site doctor determined there was no time to get him in and encouraged Williamston again. I asked when first appointment was available and was told not until mid December. My animal is suffering and you suggest waiting until then? No thank you. I am done and will never come back. I am so sad that a once amazing office has now decided with their massive building and multiple doctors that long time patients are not important enough for even 5 minutes of a conversation. I'll take the small old office with Dr. Wendy. That was the last time it felt like the priority was animals.
