When arrived they wanted to use ropes to lift him with due to so badly soiled. So we supplied our own blanket and carried him to car. He was in obvious pain, soiled, bleeding from mouth. He was immediately taken to animal hospital and advised had to be put down for fractured back and kidney issues. When asked for an explanation Randa immediately sent a refund saying upon my request, which was just for explanation. When followed up was told I can't sue because I signed a waiver, that it was my fault for boarding an older dog and not boarded before. I never made any accusations or asked for anything but an explanation. I'm so devastated I left my pet/family member in their care.

I explained to call me at earliest convenience sane day if possible. They say : ok... They never called . I call again next day to hope to receive a call back. No text or call. Very unprofessional service . Not polite or concerning. I don't understand why they have good reviews when they treat their future clients this way . I was not pushy on my messages was professional and giving them time in same day. It's been a month now later and still no call back. Really not a good service.

One has anxiety issues who eats everything (paper towels anyone?) and likes to poop/barf around the house from time to time. One has a bum leg who has 4 pills in the morning and 3 in the evening. And then a cat who can be severely aggressive when he wants something! I've had house sitters in the past and now that I've found Tails 2 Trails I hope to never lose them! Mary is an excellent communicator and I'm always able to get a hold of her. The dogs are happy to see her and get into their own routine when she arrives. She's watched them for over a week's length of time and as short as just a quick stop over if we are out too long for the day. I seriously trust her more than my own grandmother. However, this time I needed someone for my vacation and I was more than pleased. Valerie explained things wonderfully and made me feel at ease. Sherrie watched my cat...sent pics, videos, and left me updates for each day. She even let me know when something was "amiss" at my house (i.e. car in my driveway). We started to reach out and confirm our reservation about a month before departure date with emails, text and phone call. I would guess it was a minimum of 5 attempts with no response. We were forced to find another service which we were very unhappy about. We changed the security codes and hired another service. It all worked out with the other service; thank God. Much to our surprised on our first day of vacation we received a text that asked if we changed our codes to get in the house. This was their first effort over the last month and numerous efforts to confirm. We will never use them again and certainly wouldn't recommend them. Maybe they are just trying to figure things out.
