"It's not about trust. It's about taste," or so my delightful waitress reminded me when I naively declined to sample the wine she offered me. And so it went with speedy, friendly, engaging service. And our waitress' fluent English saved us from our rusty high school French.
By eight o'clock the restaurant was full of Parisians, all of whom seemed to be familiar with this neighborhood gem. We ordered delicious thin crust pizza ala Naples. Wine. Tiramisu. All for a modest price by Paris standards. We intend to return soon and continue eat our way to fluency in French.
I highly recommend making a reservation instead of depending on dumb luck, like we did. Especially if you wish for an outside table. But if you don't have a reservation, come anyway because it looked like they had counter space for wayward types and singles. read more
