We ordered two different pizzas to share and a green salad. The food arrived after only a short time and looked delicious. The only problem was that both pizzas were huge! We both have good appetites but one pizza would have been plenty between the two of us especially with the large portion of green salad we had ordered as a side - which was a bit too salty to enjoy. So definitely recommend the place for the ambience, service and delicious food - just be careful how much you order. The choice of pizzas is wide and will suit most tastes including vegetarians.

I had the delectable Vesuviano of proscuitto, arugula, buffala mozzarella, parmigiano and roasted cherry tomatoes. Molto bene! The pizzaiolos do some fine work with the wood burning oven and your piping hot pie will be out in no time at all. The crust is fantastic, though I could stand for it to remain in the oven a tad to crisp up slightly. Still, that's a minor gripe. Outstanding pie. Tables are tight and you need to move one just to sit. Oh well, anything for good pizza. Oddly, they seem to do a popular jerk chicken as well.

It's really depressing when you realize you can make a dish better at home than a restaurant, which was the case with the frutti di mare. The pasta was not even al dente, but truly raw and hard in the middle when you bit into it. The mussels were overcooked so that they stuck to the shells and there were a couple of dead ones, making me worry that it wasn't a fresh batch. The only good part of the dish was a strange cross between a crab and a crawfish. The meat was super sweet, but we only got to it after twenty minutes of struggling to get through the shell. I don't understand why they didn't at least split it in half for us in the kitchen; I can't imagine how other people, who are less determined and more decorous than I am, eat the thing. The two dishes and a pichet of wine came out to 47 euros, which is standard for Paris, but I have had better Italian food in Paris for around the same or less. Save yourself any trek or wait.

The staff here is really excellent and their care for their patrons is apparent. As a vegetarian it can be hard trying to find proper food besides pizza. Our server was extremely helpful and helped adjust menu items to a vegetarian diet. Removing fish or chicken or adding some sauce, he really made sure we had a positive experience. The restaurant is quite cozy and feels like home. Though it does seem a bit older, this just adds to its charm. All in all, I found the food to be really delicious, especially the tagliatelle which he did with sauce and mushrooms minus the meat. The flavor of the food was beautifully balanced. I would definitely recommend this tiny little place to my friends and would guess that the non-veg food is equally as tasty.

They offer this "sauce" which seems to be olive oil infused with red pepper flakes. Beware, just because you had it once does not mean that you know how spicy it is the next time. This stuff is home made and varied from week to week but always delicious. Whenever I am in Paris, I make it a point to stop by with friends for dinner and whenever I know anyone visiting Paris, I let them know this is about the best pizza they will ever have.
