She had normal crowding: my wisdom teeth were impacted and coming in at 90 degrees, as well as suffering from bacteria pockets he showed me on the Xray caused by the impacting, which also caused a cavity in one of my four wisdom teeth. Knowing this, you would think I would have been prescribed antibiotics. On the second day of being in excruciating pain, he prescribed me more Hydros. On the third day, after informing the surgeon I was throwing up, I was told that the risk of infection is rare and I probably have the flu. Although he said I can send pictures, and did try to schedule an appointment, I ended up going to the ER and informed I had a severe infection and put on antibiotics. To make It even worse, when I went to him for my follow up appointment, the surgeon tried to tell me that the infection was from food getting stuck in the holes even when I explained that I had kept up with my oral care and did not eat any solid food before I went to the ER. A phone representative had told me that my medicaid would cover what I needed done. I even explained in detail- I had some skin tags that needed to be removed. "It was a sham" After filling out all the paper work & time spent to see the Doctor, they told me it would cost $200.00 per skin tag removal. Whey did you not tell me this before my appointment in the office at the desk and after I was told over the phone my Insurance would pay for it! I would have never gone to Advanced Dermatology 200 Southpark Blvd St Augustine Beach FL 32086! My referral was even sent from my PCP What a Disappointment. Let the Truth be Told.. Dr. Milton welcomed me and did the consultation for my biopsy at that time and scheduled my biopsy the following week. He is a very compassionate and caring doctor and was very informative of the procedure and took time to answer my questions. Before the biopsy, he discussed everything he was going to do and kept me advised during the procedure. He called my home the same night after surgery to see how I was doing. He followed up with a post op visit and discussed the results. I highly recommend Dr. Milton.

I went and saw Dr Stakem on Monday to make sure nothing was wrong, and again today because I haven't noticed any improvements. The nurses have been AMAZING- so nice, caring and understanding- but Dr Stakem should go take a crash course on bedside table manners. He basically told me that I was being a cry baby and that the pain would go away, that since I was up and speaking that I wasn't experiencing any "real" pain. He insinuated that I needed to just chill out and that the pain would go away and that I had a low pain tolerance. I'm sorry, but for someone that's been through surgery before and had many injuries, I don't think it's crazy of me to want to make sure I'm okay when 7 days after the wisdom tooth procedure I'm still LITERALLY crying from pain. I will never be returning to this "doctor" for any help or advice. He made me feel like an idiot and I left wanting to cry. Nurses should go find somewhere better to work because they were great. Let me tell you I've found a 5 star Doctor!…read more Dr Feaster was recommended to me as a I was looking for a new Primary care doctor. Her office is private practice and the hours are from 7am - 3pm. While she doesn't stay late I don't mind because I love early morning appt. Her staff was very friendly and I mean it. No robotic like or long faces. They weren't in a hurry and really helped with my questions about the paperwork. Dr Feaster is very thorough and hands on Doctor. She explained in detail and ask questions as if she was making sure to find the right treatment for me including some referrals. She connects with you eye to eye and hand to body and did not rush the process in a hurry to get to the next patient. I'm am beyond pleased with her and haven't had a doctor like her in like never.
