The things I don't love is that they don't price anything, so you have to ask at checkout. It is very arbitrary. Low end brands can be same or higher than brands that retail higher, for no apparent reason. Not condition or style. Great for high end brands if you find. But random. I also find the random schedule inconvenient.

The deer park location is just a hop, skip and a jump up Deer Park Rd, right off of the Silverado Trail. The store is open every tuesday and the first Sunday of every month. They always have a great variety of shoes, dresses, shirts, purses, and accessories in all sizes. You can tell people love consigning here because there's always something new and interesting on the racks. It sounds like if you're a local, you can get a card that keeps track of your store credit from consigning, which seems like such a fun and smart system. The store itself isn't overly crowded, which makes browsing really enjoyable and relaxing. The only small suggestion I'd have is to maybe reorganize the jewelry section near the front--sometimes it gets a little jammed with people coming in and out, so it'd be nice if there was a bit more flow there. Other than that, this place is a solid 10/10! Always a fun stop when I'm in the neighborhood.

Basing a low rating on a snippet of conversation you disagreed with seems a bit off-base and more than a little judgemental, no? Especially when you noted the warm greeting and polite exit. Thrift stores are about community and reuse, not ideological purity tests. The Ark is clean, welcoming, and packed with affordable goodies--who cares if the chit-chat behind the counter doesn't match your specific worldview? If we started judging businesses solely on overheard opinions, we'd all be shopping in echo chambers. Props to the polite team; they've earned my repeat business for the deals, not the discourse.

I came in looking for a journal and ended up leaving with some cute clothes and jewelry. This is a fantastic place for femme fashion. They offer clothes, jewelry, candles, cute gifts, and more. There were two fitting rooms in the back. It is a smaller store, but not too cramped. The fitting room was huge. There was seating inside of it and outside. I was kindly greeted when I came in. I tried on three things and fell in love with two. The dress I wanted to purchase seemed to have poor adjustable straps and when I asked if there was any other dresses in my size with adjustable straps that didn't get stuck, the salesperson was really sweet and went to the back to grab me one. Unfortunately, the dress she gave me had worse straps and was not my size. I'm glad I checked because I would've purchased a dress not in my size had I not noticed. Do know that things are on the pricier side here. It is a boutique clothing store afterall. Since I am here for a birthday trip, I looked at it as a birthday purchase. I highly recommend coming here for cute clothes.
