You can eat inside there or there's a shaded outside eating area between the bar and the food cart. I went with the Slangers Style burger, which comes with white cheddar, smoked Oaxaca cheese sauce, Slangers Sauce and fried pickled red onion. I got mine with two patties. This burger was unctuously rich and super saucy. I think, for me, two patties was a bit much. I removed one of the patties and the flavors of all the components came through a bit more pronounced and balanced. So, I would stick with one patty on my next visit. Because I dislike wasting food, I also ate the extra patty by itself, and it was great and well-seasoned. The fries were delicious as well: hearty with bits of potatoes skin and fried to a perfect crispness. I will absolutely be back as this is one of the best burgers I've had in Salem!

It looks a bit small but it's very filling. Husband likes to get the bangers and mash and loves it. The service has been good and friendly every time we've gone and they are extremely dog-friendly. We took our two boys there a few times who aren't used to dining out in public like that. They weren't disruptive (we'd have taken them home and had our stuff to go if they hadn't behaved well) but we let the servers know they weren't dogs who were familiar with being taken out to a dining place and the servers were very accommodating of even making the dogs comfortable and brought out a water dish they kept topped off. Really above and beyond. Could not recommend this place more.

They had a decent beer selection. After deciding what we wanted, I went to the counter to order Scotch Eggs and the Great British Fish and Chips. I was informed that they didn't have any Scotch Eggs. I went back and talked with my wife, and we decided on a pie and I went back to the counter where I was informed that they had no pies. Annoyed, I went back to talk with my wife, and we ordered some sort of bites of which there was a meat option and a vegetarian option. We went with the meat option for all three. After we ordered and we were enjoying our beers, our server came over and said they only had two bites left of meat, so we were forced to have one vegetarian option. I will say both options tasted great! The fish and chips were finally served; it looked great with a crispy batter and perfectly fried fries. The fries tasted great. When we went to have the fish, the batter fell off the fish. Clearly that was a problem, which is too bad because it seemed like it was cooked perfectly. The batter wasn't greasy and the fish was clearly fresh. But we had to eat the batter separately from the fish. It was apparent that the fish was wet when they applied the batter. This is too bad because the fish tasted great and the batter tasted great, but the batter fell right off the fish. This is one of their signature dishes. This was a Monday and clearly they weren't prepared to be open. With no Scotch Eggs, no pies, etc it was disappointing. Our server didn't seem to care that they didn't have most of their menu available. I was excited about this place, but sadly they failed with not having everything on their menu and not being able to correctly prepare their Great British Fish and Chips. Maybe it was an off day, but I don't think we'll be going back.

Definitely a diner vibe from yesteryear, with the smell of burgers and fries. I had the bacon cheeseburger, wife had cheeseburger and we shared a small fry. All said, about $30 with drinks. Burgers were hot, fresh, and juicy. Just the right amount. Too much grease and it gets disgusting for me. These burgers were great though. As mentioned from previous reviewers, fries are natural, so they come out a little soggy. The fry sauce is delicious.

Other reviews mention rude service staff, but my experience was the total opposite. I wish I could've gotten her name to give her a shout-out. :) I do have to mention the lack of parking. There were still empty tables when the parking lot was already completely full. There were maybe eight parking spots altogether, but that would be my only complaint.

I didn't get the impression this place makes it's own beer as all I saw was guest taps... which is okay because the list was quite large. Looking in Untappd it does look like they indeed made their beer at one point and time and maybe they still do... I just didn't see any on the list. So tsking my own advice and drinking smartly I got a root beer here that was also on tap along with the beer. I don't recall who exactly made the root beer but it was from a brewery and some craft breweries make absolutely fantastic craft sodas and this one was very good! The place seems to have spacious seating but placing orders up at the front counter can get congested. This place is in a cool spot so despite not finding beer I still walked away from it feeling it was a positive experience.
