We originally had issues with the service after the puchase of our new boat. We felt as if they weren't listening to our concerns or willing to help. I have to say they turned things around in a wonderful way! They did everything they could to not only help us, but went above and beyond to fix issues! We are extremely satisfied and would recommend Anglers Marine to everyone! Thank you Anglers Marine for taking such good care of us and our new boat!!! Sincerely, Howard and Valerie Grow read more

Not sure how they made my first review disappear (Didn't think Google pulled legitimate reviews) but stay very, very far away. This company doesn't care, (Although if you leave a bad review, the manager will call you a dozen times, don't know why, never left a message but I did not answer) the technicians leave a lot to be desired (And yes I know what a good technician is, I've been in the "Tech" business for 50 years) The bill was over $2200.00 and it included my annual service. They told me I needed a new VHF antenna, they said it was broken, nonsense but have to have a working radio when on the ocean, so $200+ dollars for that. When I dropped my boat off, they didn't say it was broken, when they wrote it up, didn't say a word, when I called 3 times to check on the boat (They didn't start working on it for two and a half weeks) they didn't say a word but finally when they brought it into the shop to begin the work I needed a new one cause mine is snapped in half. Again, nonsense, but have to have a working radio on the water. I had an issue with my Fresh Water Pump, so for $500.00+ dollars, I had them fix it. One month later (today, June 7th, 2026) and it doesn't work (I'm sure they'll say it's my fault, like the antenna) so now I have to have the $500+ dollar pump repaired less than a month after they replaced it. Yes, I should bring it back and have them fix it but I don't trust a word they say or the quality of technical employee's that work there. I'm sure they'll find some reason it's not covered, but moving on; When I picked my boat up and put it into the water the Port Engine wouldn't start, wouldn't even crank. I called the store, sat on hold for 2 minutes and got a "Huh, it was run here". Basically they didn't test my Batteries (Maybe an annual service doesn't include testing the batteries in NC but it does everywhere else) so the next morning, I had to go, get a new battery and install it. They didn't lube anything (The Cabin Door sounded like the Munster's House doors) and I can go on and on but it's useless, they just don't care and it shows! They're a typical "Dealer" they don't care, don't have any quality control, no follow up, no people skills and a repair staff with few "Technical Skills "and my new boat yes, just ordered a 280 thousand dollar boat, NOT from them will be delivered in @8 weeks. It's unfortunate they care more about money than their business reputation or integrity. read more

Angler Marine Management, I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the service and quality regarding my recent purchase of a 2027 23-foot Key West bay boat. During the sales process, I was promised that your mechanic would mount my trolling motor bracket at no additional charge. However, right before closing, I was informed that I would be charged for this installation despite paying full price for the vessel. Additionally, a few weeks after delivery, the gelcoat began peeling and the bilge pumps stopped working. While I understand the gelcoat issue may be a manufacturer defect, the service response from your team has been unacceptable. I have been given multiple false dates regarding when the gelcoat repair technician would arrive, and he has continually failed to show up. Furthermore, the schedule for taking the boat out to test the repaired bilge pumps keeps being pushed back. This repeated lack of follow-through and miscommunication is frustrating and unprofessional. The picture attached is the text where they agree on stuff and never happen read more

I recently visited Anglers Marine Supply in Shallotte, NC to purchase a boat, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The staff (with the notable exception of sales representative Carter, who was helpful and professional) came across as unwelcoming and unfriendly. It genuinely felt like they were not interested in earning our business, which was surprising given that we were there to buy a boat--specifically, to repurchase our own boat that they had in inventory. The attitude from most of the team left us feeling undervalued and frustrated. If it hadn't been for the specific boat we wanted, we would have taken our business elsewhere without hesitation. While the facility and selection seemed decent, the poor customer service overshadowed everything else. I would recommend potential buyers consider other marine supply and boat dealers in the area that treat customers with basic courtesy and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, this visit left a sour impression, and I won't be returning. read more

Purchased a boat last year from Anglers Marine, the sales person was very helpful as I did everything remotely. Was a little disappointed in the delivery time, but that was more the fault of the manufacturer than Anglers Marine, in fact they were kind enough to store it for me over the winter so I wasn't paying extra fees while not being able to use it. Closing on and picking up the boat happened at two separate times, both went smoothly. There was a minor hiccup with the seats, which they have promised to correct next time I bring it in for it's first service. So far, have been very pleased with them and my purchase. They have been highly responsive and accommodating. read more

I decided to purchase a boat elsewhere. The overall process was frustrating--the pricing was too high, and it took too much effort just to try to get to a fair number. I did speak with Carter, who was very accommodating and easy to work with, but ultimately, the dealership just wasn't competitive. read more

Made the mistake of buying a boat out of state. They told me the boat included a trailer. Their show room photos did not show a trailer. Being a first time new boat buyer, I purchased the boat because of how nice they were to deal with up front. I did receive some pre delivery photos of the boat on the trailer but didn't notice a few things. They dragged the engine across the shop floor and tried to blame it on my transport company. They didn't connect a negative battery terminal causing all of the electronics to dim and shut off randomly. There were a couple chips in the gelcoat on the rear jump seats. The trailer they sold me is 3 feet too small for my boat. Trailer is rated for 23ft max and my boat is 25ft 5 inches. Boat sticks off the back of the trailer nearly 3 feet to the transom, 5 ft to the engine. They want me to take the boat back up from FL to NC so they can swap the trailer. I'm not paying $3600 for a round trip for them to fix their issue. My recommendation is don't buy a boat from outside your local area. Much less buy one from Anger's Marine. Nice up front, but a lot of stuff they won't tell you and then claim "Well you saw the boat and you were ok with it". I guess that makes it right? read more

I went in looking for a used boat around the 25000 range, the sales guy Paul was very helpful he took his time an showed me all the different boats that would fit my budget. I am setting up a test ride next week will update once I get my deal finalized!!! Ok sorry for the long delay!! I ended up buying a new 18 ft robalo from Anglers. They took care of all our needs an they took me an my wife out on the boat to show us how to use it. They took there time an was very thorough!! We are looking forward to the spring next year so we can get some fun rolling. Thanks again Anglers for the great service an help to find our perfect boat!!! Looking forward to the summer read more

Anglers Marine - Boat Dealers Near Me - Supply, North Carolina

I'll start by saying I live 2 hours away. I got an incredible deal on a new key west from them earlier this year. I had a mechanic close to me do the 100 hour service, that was a mistake. When I went to get my boat from the storage yard for a weekend trip to the beach there was oil running down the motor. I was at Anglers with it when they opened at 9, they immediately took it in, showed me the problem, fixed it, had me on the water 45 minutes later and didn't charge me a penny for another mechanics mess. My boat will never go anywhere besides anglers marine! read more

Three years ago I purchased a pre-owned Grady White from Anglers Marine. I bought it sight-unseen, based on the company's reputation and their description of the boat and its history. Naturally I had a lot of trepidation about buying a boat I had never even seen let alone driven. I am happy to report that she is everything I wanted and more. I have put over 300 trouble-free hours on her and am extremely happy with the purchase. Everyone should make their own decisions about whether to do what I did and buy a boat without at least eyeballing if not sea-trialing it first. I can only say that I have not regretted doing so because the Grady White I bought from Anglers has been outstanding. read more

This review is as much for Hunter at Angler's Marine as it is for Angler's itself. Hunter is who represented Angler's Marine made for a very pleasant experience. He was patient and answered all questions promptly before, during and after the sale. Even though his job is to sell boats and equipment, he still looked out for me when advising options and extras after he was asked to do so.  After taking delivery he took my wife and I out to the inter-coastal and introduced us to the boat, its handling and features.  Post-sale I had multiple questions sent via email and calls, and each time he was patient and answered my questions. I would give Angler's a 5 star however, there were a few minor details that reduced it to 4. The only issue's I had were that the light pole was forgotten during delivery, the closing got moved a further week out (they are very busy), and the boat was dirtier than expected when delivered with some staining on some of the rubber near the engine and scuffing near the throttle and a chip out of the dash where the GPS was installed. Supposedly at the 20 hour service the missing item and staining will be addressed. If you are in the market for a boat call Hunter. When I was only pre-shopping and asking questions he was the only person out of 4 dealerships that took the time to answer questions, treat me with respect and invited me to call back if I had any further questions. The dealership I give 4 stars to. Hunter I give 5 stars. read more

I purchased a used 2006 Carolina Skiff 17 DLX with a 2016 Yamaha 4 stroke 70 from Anglers, pretty much sight unseen. I live in Keys, boat was in NC near one of my homes. I put the boat in a dry storage marina and was a month or so getting up to use it. Found a hairline crack on transom that leaked water into hull. Engine would not idle, tried to shake off of transom at low RPM. Called Wes, one of owners, he said bring it back in. First thing he did was drain and fix hull, repainted, nicely done. Engine was a problem. 2016 but still under warranty. They played with it, worked on it, water tested it, and repeated process, to no avail. They involved Yamaha. They spent nearly a month trying to remedy. No luck. They tried everything Yamaha suggested, nothing worked. As I was nearing the end of my patience, Wes called me and said Yamaha was doing a full head replacement. All electronics, fuel system, block, From the time I was told this until I was able to pick up boat after they'd water tested was a week. Put in water and ran great- like new. Was I happy with the experience? No, but the boat was a trade-in and they had no idea of the problems. Was I happy with their response? Damn right. They made it a point to get me on the water and worked constantly on getting things right. Key words here are customer satisfaction, integrity, and integrated response. Good people, will deal again. This was a situation that was truly dealt with in a highly professional manner. Tom T. Key Colony Beach, FL. read more

I have purchased 8 boats previously and our experience with Wes has been the best by far. Everyone my wife and I have dealt with couldn't have been more helpful. It's easy to see why they have been in business so many years. read more

Buyer beware. Went by to have my boat picked up August 29th for service and light replacement, We agreed to pay $100 for a boat pick up. Anglers Marine waited until Sep 2nd, called and said it was a hurricane pick up and then demanded a credit card for $400 to remove the boat. Explanation, they had to set it on blocks in the yard for the storm. Billed us for both, $500 for picking up the same boat. Got to a "Scott" and he gave us "a sorry about that" but the boat was picked up as part of their hurricane service, What???? This made as much sense as right after the purchase the lettering for Robalo started falling off and I was told it wasn't a warranted item. 3 cheers for Robalo read more

If you decide to buy a boat you can get a fair deal from Anglers Marine in Supply NC, but if you're looking for customer satisfaction or good service after the sale, then that is not the place to buy a boat. After 5 trips back and forth to the dealer for repairs on our brand new Cape Horn and after waiting weeks to get the boat back everytime they finally got it right. To my surprise, we even had a new winch plate on the trailer, which I never asked for -- I thought they threw it in for all our trouble which made me very happy. But, I just got a call from the service department wanting payment for the winch plate. Needless to say they are coming to my house to put the old one back on and take the new one back. They definitely just lost a customer. If you want good service after the sale beware!! read more

recently purchased a trailer from anglers. Came from NJ to North Myrtle Beach to pick up a boat. Boat was in dry storage. Trailer was everything they said, seemed like a great deal. Time to pay. No one told me before i left NJ that they do not accept personal checks, credit cards, debit cards. I was told ahead of time that cash was not necessary. They required certified payment - bank check. They were willing to NOT sell me a trailer. Fortunately the local bank is same company that i deal with at home but what if i wasn't so lucky ?? Too bad?? I was able to get a bank check but a little unnerving after driving 10 hours to make deal happen. Apparently owner did not want to pay credit card fees for transaction. Maybe their home page on website or sales person(s) should talk about accepted or not accepted payment type. BB&T gets 5 stars. read more

Bought a boat and had to get a few things worked on, looked up Anglers Marine since they where a established company and close to home. I took the boat during the late summer and knew they were probably booked up for a few weeks. Took the boat in August and got it back in December. The part to fix my boat was on back order. When the call came to come pick the boat up, other than the two nice ladies in the office we got treated awful. When we finally got the boat back the steering did not work, the PVC off the trailer uprights was missing. We called and they did fix the steering quickly, but charged parts since it was sitting up so long. Never again will I make this mistake!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you have a 30ft off shore boat!! read more

My husband and I purchased a 25ft Robalo boat from Angler's Marine about a year ago. Needless to say it was a very expensive purchase. The first voyage my husband was out on it the Prop feel right off. Just like that. Bam- gone. They had to call to be towed back in. Okay, they fixed it. Not right away. It wasn't the easiest task getting them to fix it right away and take full responsibility for it. Grant it-they fixed it. Now our T-top is loose and my husband called to see if they were able to fix it in a short notice m-Remind you it is still under warranty. My husband was looking at fixing it himself- but was afraid it would negate our warranty. He called Angler's Marine this morning and was spoken to with little respect and was almost treated as he was bothering them. We are not complainers, but in this day and age I am tired of lack of respect, appreciation and plain ole' niceness to people in general, especially a customer albeit it be a $1.00 purchase or a million dollar one. Customer service for Angler's Marine is really a zero. Hate to say this, but maybe look elsewhere when making a boat purchase. Make sure their customer service is on par. read more

Last place I would ever do business with again. Bought a new boat from them in July 2013. They took a boat from me on consignment with less than 20 hours on the engine. About 9 months later I get a bill in the mail for a new tire. Didn't mind paying it, but would have thought they would have called first to alert me that I needed one. Never had an offer on the boat and called them in May 2014 to tell them I was going to pick it up. They said to please leave it with them. Labor Day I get a very low offer, and then I get another 2 days ago which I agree to. I get a phone call later saying the carburetor needs cleaning/replacing. After questioning why, when it had been cleaned before they got it with ethanol free fuel, Ring Free, and Sta-Bil in the fuel tank, I was told to just come get it off their lot. Did they never crank it on a regular basis? My son picked it up last night, and I asked if anybody spoke to him.... "No, but somebody on a tractor moving boats around glared at me!" And it had burned bearings in one of the tires on the trailer! Guess they never checked that either. OK service on the new boat but I would never trust them with a consignment! I was treated very well on the sale of the new boat but after that, they were done with customer service! It is with a great deal of thought that I write this, as I try to find the best in a business in a day when our country is struggling economically, and I'm sure others have had very pleasant experiences here. But for me, it was most disappointing read more

I Recently Purchased a new KeyWest boat from Anglers Marine NC. The dealer is a family owned business and do a great job taking care of their Customers. They spent tons of extra time with both my wife and myself to make sure that they had answered every question we had. After the sale, the service has been spectacular. The team does a flawless job and makes sure that every item is taken care of. I didn't by a super expensive boat, but the way the dealership treated me, you would not know that. They treated my purchase like I was buying a top of the line luxury boat. Communication from Andrea was great when it came to actually executing the purchase and everything arrived just like they said it would. Boat Registration, Trailer Tags, Warranty registration etc. She even had all the temporary registrations set aside for the Boat and the Trailer. It was nice for all this to just happen without having to chase or do any follow up to get the final registrations. After the sale, the service was just as smooth. Scott and his team handled my service taking care of every little detail. Everything was taken care of flawlessly. Dealer is extremely Honest and works hard to take care of the customer. I would recommend buying a boat from this dealer from this experience and I have no hesitation about buying my next boat from this dealer as well. read more
