Angie's Epicurean is in a pink 1950's Citroën H Van, produced by the French automaker between 1947 and 1981. You can find it parked next to the fountain in Rosemary Square. Angie's Epicurean serves kosher, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy free, non-GMO and plant based ice cream while still offering superior flavor, quality, and culinary artistry. It took plant based Colombian chef, Angela Fernandez two years to perfect substituting cashew and coconut milk for cow's milk in ice cream and she debuted her frozen treats in 2020. They will be opening their first brick and mortar store in Edgewood, Miami soon. I was at an art festival in Rosemary Square when I discovered adorable Angie's. Ice cream flavors include chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, cookies and cream, mango lassi, strawberry, passion fruit and basil, and sugar free chocolate and vanilla. you can add sauces like hazelnut chocolate, caramel, condensed milk, and date syrup, and toppings like rainbow sprinkles, Oreo bits, gunny bears, rose petals, crushed pistachios, and even edible glitter and gold. I ordered a small pistachio and you could taste the slightly sweet and nutty flavor in every bite. I like that that they don't have artificial ingredients in their ice cream. I was just in F1 & tried the ice cream. I tried the pistachio, the vanilla , the cookies and cream, & the passion fruit. My friends and I got very excited to have so many options that we could actually eat and it wasn't sorbet!! My fav is pistachio and the passion fruit. HOW GOOOOD!! I love pistachio ice cream and since I don't eat any dairy it's almost impossible to find. They made it so creammmy and delicious and taste like real pistachio not fake imitation. Ohh I love it! The passion fruit was another hit it was so refreshing and balanced. I have to say I loved the recommendation the guys gave us and they provided great service. I scream, you scream, we all scream for Angies Epicuran gourmet ice cream. Had the pleasure of walking off dinner to go on a hunt to find Angie's 'The Square West Palm location'. It was cool to see all of the "healthy" and "non-traditional" options offered. After some soul searching I was finally able to settle on a cone with a scoop of the mixed berry, topped with goji berries. Mixed Berry - light but heavier than a sorbet, very good flavo Goji Berry - remind me of butter dried cranberries Come - delicious; the bites with the cone were the best part of the experience for me V pricey $11 for a cone, one scoop, and one non-"premium" topping This is definitely a place you come to for "the gram" and the aesthetic, don't bring the whole family unless your pockets run deeeeep All in all a good experience, Angie's is a very good alternative to your "traditional" ice cream experience. This ice cream truck was very good. I tried the mango lassi and limited time black tahini flavors with chocolate hazenut sauce. The ice cream was very flavorful, but the chocolate hazelnut sauce wasn't. The cup was too small for the amount of ice cream given and easily dripped over the sides on the hot day I went there. The service was good but it's by the live music area which made it hard to hear. read more

Pretty good gelato for what it's worth. My boyfriend and I came here right before Angie's was closing and weren't expecting too much. We got a medium sized cup which was the perfect size for the both of us. They were out of a few flavors so we ended up with cookies and cream and strawberry. I loved how they offered gluten free and vegan items, and a lot of their flavors were made with cashew milk and other alternative milks. The flavor was very silky and very nice - you couldn't even tell it was made with a plant based milk. Overall, I would definitely come back if I was in the area. read more

My favorite healthy ice cream spot in all of Florida. I get the vanilla with chocolate quinoa, mochi, hazelnut syrup. It's a little truck right by the water fountain, it's very artsy and cute. The ice cream was nice and creamy but I was not impressed and likely won't be back. I decided on dessert here after Brunch at Planta because I wanted to try a new place but was completely disappointed and wished I would have just enjoyed a piece of cake and ice cream at Planta. It seems that there's always a line here and apparently, they aren't prepared to serve the amount of customers they get. After waiting for a good 10 minutes, I wanted to order 2 scoops (one Pistachio and One Stevia Sweetened Chocolate) in a Waffle Cone - except, no waffle cones and no Stevia Sweetened Chocolate. The girl working there was very hard to understand and apparently she wasn't very good at understanding me either getting my order completely wrong at least 3 times. I ended up with two scoops in a cup (Pistachio and regular Chocolate) and added the toasted marshmallow, which was a total ripoff. The total came out to $11 for two plain, super small scoops with 4 mini marshmallows. Wouldn't recommend. I love supporting Vegan but... save your $$$ (and your calories lol) read more

The cutest little ice cream truck in Rosemary Square! I loved that everything was gluten-free AND vegan. There were so many yummy flavors to choose from. It's a little expensive for the size, however, it's a unique experience that I don't mind paying extra for. It was probably the best vegan ice cream I've had! The consistency was smooth and the flavor was rich. The only disappointing part of my visit is that the person working was honestly pretty rude & didn't seem like she wanted me there. I made sure to smile and still give a tip knowing how awful people can be toward food service workers these days, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't dampen my experience slightly. I've had better ice cream for half the price. I ordered a medium cup and was shocked when they handed it to me. I had ask them "is this a medium?" Doing a little walking in Miami and passed this cute little pink a food truck. I was curious to know what was inside and behold it was a yogurt vegan froyo shop! For items like this you're always going to pay a little bit more, but pretty cool concept and they had quite a few people waiting to build their own yogurt. $7-9 for a scoop of ice cream is a little much on a normal base. I would give them 9/10 but I f you see a pink truck try it yourself. read more

I love this ice cream truck because it has all-vegan options and the presentation is so pretty. Nestled right in the center of the Rosemary Square outdoor shop area, everything about it draws you in. The truck aesthetics are super cool. I will say that some of the ice cream options taste like they're vegan, they have a distinct flavor but overall not bad. I got the pistachio ice cream with chocolate quinoa topping! There were quite a few interesting and unique choices on the menu for toppings and flavors. I saw that you could get gold glitter and flakes as toppings so you know this place is Insta-worthy. Unfortunately I didn't get a great pic but they serve ice cream beautifully with a chocolate coin and an edible flower. Angie's is a vegan ice cream food truck. I caught them in Wynwood this weekend. Obviously because it's plant based and a food truck, it was pricey. It ran me almost $8 for one scoop with a topping. I liked the flavor options like s'mores, piña colada, pitaya, which I chose. I didn't love that the few seats they had provided no shade from the Miami sun. Tried pistacho ice cream for the first time and it wasn't bad. Rosemary square is of course beautiful. I would return to try different flavors. You have to park in one of the many garages and pay $5 or up depending how long you stay. The ice cream is dairy free so keep that in mind. My mom was like girl I don't want dairy free ice cream lol. read more

They had the pork and lemongrass chicken option for their Banh Mi sandwiches that day. I asked what the chefs' favorite was and he of course had a hard time deciding. I chose the pork which I asked for it to be spicy. Unfortunately, it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be but it did have really great flavor. I think their name is very catchy and unique. My brother ordered the spring rolls to share and it was amazing! It was deep fried with all the goodies inside. They provided us with a sweet chili dipping sauce. The meal was gone in 3 seconds. Another time, I had their banh mi, again really delicious. Their food was outstanding and I need to find where they're stationed so I could get some more quick Vietnamese food. The employees were nice and the food came out quick. I hope to see them soon so I could indulge on some more fried spring rolls. They usually are at the Funky Buddha events. I believe they were there during the Funky Buddha 2015 birthday bash.

Keep in mind, however, just because someone spends the time, money and energy into a food truck, and then plasters the sides with expensive vinyl graphics, doesn't mean the food will be up to snuff. Usually it's pretty good, but not always. There I was with my daughter at her school on a Sunday and they were having a drive for their summer camp program. All the requisite entertainment was there: bounce houses, face painting, a really lame-ass DJ, snow cones, popcorn, archery (strange), and yes food trucks! Ah, the call of the food truck. The concept is so very intoxicating; they draw me like a moth to a beautiful blue light. What is better with little kids than a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich? I recall walking to the truck dreaming of toasted pumpernickel with over ripe Camembert and sun dried tomato, basil and capers. OK.. maybe they won't have anything like that, but either way grilled, melted, dairy gooeyness sounds like a winner to me. Considering the only other option was a vegan truck (ever seen the face of a small child eating a quinoa burger or raw taco for the first time?) it was the only realistic option. So I sauntered up to the window with my three year-old in hand and placed my order with a very polite young man in his early teens. American, mozzarella, ricotta, mac n' cheese, tomato, grilled onions and grilled mushrooms! Wow- sounded like a behemoth! The damage? 10 bucks. Yeeeeesh. $10? That's quite a price tag for a grilled cheese. OK, stay optimistic. And so I waited.... And I waited some more.... They weren't that busy so how long could it possibly take? Five minutes? I waited some more. It's only a grilled cheese I pondered.... I took a break from waiting and walked 100 yards to talk to my wife and came back. Still not ready. Hmmmm. What the hell? Ok, come on - It's a grilled cheese not Chateaubriand! I twiddled my thumbs about 20-25 minutes in total and then it arrived. Finally! I reached up for my paper basket expecting a glow to emanate from the cradle of cheesiness - a melted arc of the dairy farmers covenant. Any yes there it was... a measly 6 ounces of flaccid, half-grilled soggy white bread in all it's -- well -- um, greasy uninspired glory. It was small and thin with the tumerance of a straight man on a gay porn film set. Considering all those ingredients I expected more - a whole lot more. How about two layers? How about a little crunch? Please? There really wasn't much to write home about. It had obviously been grilled (warmed) at too low a temperature as there was no texture to the bread. All the butter or grease on the grill had been soaked into the bread and coated my fingers and mouth. The "sauteed" mushrooms were nice and cold from a can, and the "grilled" onions were fresh from the ground and barely warmed. (I actually stood behind the truck at the end and saw that they had forgotten my mushrooms and onions and saw the shaky-handed cook nervously peel the sandwich apart to throw some stuff in at the last second.) Bottom line - it sucked. How is that for a review? I never thought I would say it but I just did. Sucked. One word that says it all. In complete fairness maybe I should rephrase that - It really, really sucked. I have seen a five year old do better on a Sunday afternoon with some white bread, Velveeta and a toaster oven. If you're going to specialize in "gourmet" grilled cheese sandwiches with a kick-ass Godzilla image plastered on your truck, rule no. 1 should be that you can at least make a good one. If a gourmet food truck can't make a decent grilled cheese then I guess the next step down is selling bagged chips? What an incredible letdown. I talked to four other parents at the tables and the consensus was unanimous. Overpriced, limp and greasy. In a food truck race these fellows would have a flat at the starting line. Accordingly, I pen this note: Dear CheeseZilla; Your truck had me thinking that I was going to be crushed with Godzilla-like flavor. Instead I walked away completely defeated and felt as if my mouth had been attacked by the limp-d**k grease monster. Thanks, but no thanks. I want a refund.

One time as mothers often do I accidentally toppled and they actually made me a new one for free no questions asked. They were very polite and helpful. They actually remember us every time we go and sometimes I chose their food over even the other "adult food". Also, one time I mistakenly thought another grilled cheese truck would have similar tasting food. Gianormous mistake. It was literally disgusting to where we chose to not eat the food at all. We love Cheeziilla and I am sure you will too. It isn't just for kids.
