Both had a horrible attitude, made my shopping experience very difficult and were smart talking me in the entire conversation. Even their manager Molly is the same. Used Angelus for my pavers on driveway and patio project. My contractor recommended this business - go check out the stone/pavers we wanted. Never done this before so wasn't sure what to expect. We checked out another supplier also and we found this place to be everything we needed. Helpful professional staff, catalog provided, they directed to their outdoor showroom. We were looking for walls displays but no walls here. Look down, it's all under your feet, laid out in the ground. Nothing fancy but so much better that a small paver plastered inside on a wall. The pavers/stones laid out in sections, you can see what they look like on the ground. This gives an authentic picture of what the product looks like in a larger area. Biz was easy to work with, they provided a written quote and honored it, excellent timing on the delivery of product as requested, quality pavers, really exceptional all the way around. Bad customer service .. I went on Monday 1/13 around 11am. There was a man working at the end of the desk, I the customer said hello as I walked in but he didn't even answer back. As we were waiting in line to be helped, I saw the man look up at us 2x and not one acknowledgement, even when he didn't seem busy. My husband had to go up to him to ask him for help and asked him some questions but even then he was not friendly nor informative. Two other ladies were at the desk helping check out customers, but again no one care to say " hello, we will be right with you" not even the man who was not helping anyone at the time. read more

The service is good, the materials are good, but the local delivery fee is extremely expensive for three pallets they charge me over 377 and for the pallet deposit fee they charge me $37 for pallet and when you return the empty pallet they only reimburse you $30 per pallet which is not fair and they don't give you an explanation on that before purchasing the materials read more

The customer service is top notch and the product knowledge displayed by Lorena and David was extremely helpful. Lorena went above and beyond to ensure I was able to color match, my existing retaining wall. 2. The delivery was on time and early enough so I could get started right away. Clyde was nice enough to place the palettes as close as possible to my project. 3. The price of blocks were half of what Home Depot advertised for the same block. Additionally, Lowe's was out of stock. Angelus has a pamphlet with all their pricing listed. I am glad I found the Angelus Block Company Rialto Plant, they offered the best value for my project. I called and spoke to two reps at this location trying to figure out how I can go about making a large quantity order for blocks. I was quoted approx $4.35? Per block. I asked since they are the supplier of Home Depot, would they be cheaper than them. Their response was "since we supply them we must be"... Well they're not. Home Depot is literally the same price for the exact same block with angelus wrapping on it. Actually, considering my order, Home Depot is cheaper. When purchasing more than 100 blocks. You get a discount. Down to $3.95 a block. When I asked the rep at this location they did not offer me a discount for a large order. So either they're lying, taking advantage of people or they are literally just priced higher than the very company they supply. Makes no sense. read more

I have purchased quite allot of block for different projects around my house. They will take the time with you and explain different colors they have and pavers. They will allow you to get a half a pallet to finish your project and not have to buy a full one. The guys at the yard are very nice and helpful. Since I have only a 1/2 ton pickup they will let you load 1/2 the pallet and hold the rest when you come back. read more

I just had Angelus pavers installed 2 weeks ago and one of the pavers is already falling apart. A tiny chip revealed that below the surface is a tan powdery substance and it's getting bigger by the day. I called Angelus and the only help they offered was to provide a replacement paver. It's going to cost several hundred dollars to have it installed. I deeply regret using this brand. read more

I have to admit that I just lucked out several years ago, to using interlocking pavers brand called Angelus Pavers in my walkways. I used the paver installer company (who will be reviewed) several years ago and was happy with their work. Now wind forward to this moment. After calling these paver installers (who I paid an enormous amount of money to; or at least in my personal experience it was a lot of money -- maybe not to them, but to me), I wanted to do 2 small patios which was a total of 310 ft. GUESS WHAT! the paver installers informed me that it was too small and they needed to have at least 450 ft. After getting pretty upset and not wanting to make another mistake with an new paver installer company; I emailed Angelus Pavers through their website for customer assistance. Dennis Patrick, their salesman emailed me immediately (right after the holidays which was more impressive with the Labor Day Holiday when they could had an excuse they were busy from the holiday rush). But this wonderful man, Dennis Patrick, he immediately emailed me with all the information I needed to find an recommended paver installer companies who works with Angelus Pavers and would do an "small" job. WOW!! What customer service especially since I also contacted another paver company who never even returned my phone call after we met (another review in the future). There was a glitch in the Angelus Pavers since they reformulated their pavers to a different shade and it was missing the dark shade which was in my existing walkways but would not match the new patios. So after getting delivered the new pavers; I took a ride with my now 83 years old mother and we went to Rialo to the manufacturing plant where they have all the styles of pavers in actually set down in the ground in all designs which was amazing to see -- which comprises their outdoor display and driveways all in various styles so you get to step on, touch and compare each style and color in the outdoor display which is so large that you are overwhelmed with choices. This must make the salespeople go crazy having customers try to decide which style and which pavers to go with; but in the long run, a happy customer who really sees what it will look like in their home. Really, this was the best way in the future if you ever want to see who the pavers really look in person, is to go to their manufacturing plant to see all the designs and all their pavers styles. It was also pointed out by Dennis that although I could buy directly from Dennis, that when the paver installer buys the pavers, instead of the homeowner, if the paver installer is wrong with the amount of pavers bought, then the paver installer will have to pay the $250 fee to transport the new pavers. So of course, I let my paver installer buy it directly from Angelus pavers. I had texted Dennis because I was really, really upset cause I knew this was going to cost more money....and I know that my new paver installer would be miffed at me because I stopped the entire crew and also they could not finish until I got this problem rectified. So Dennis offered (which was so wonderful) to talk with my new paver installer owner and I offered to pay for the transportation fees for another new load and also to adjust for his workers being sent home early. I was able to see the actual pavers with David, another sales associate since Dennis was out to lunch, who kindly discussed in details, David even washed my old pavers that I bought (I wished I kept them in better condition so that we could see the color) -- Note to myself, to put the sample new pavers in plastic (to store for the future without having to wash them in the future) and David came up with the dark paver Mocha to match it. WOW! Again unbelievable service, David happily helped us and we never felt rushed or being a bother to him. Its a ride from Los Angeles but WELL WORTH IT. So lucky me, I was blessed to buy an paver brand which really stands behind their product -- since I knew nothing about which paver brand is better than other paver brands. I think they have been in business since 1948 -- and its shows with their wonderful sales associates and willingness to make things right and happy. So it really helps to have an brand of pavers which stands behind you for customer service well after you done the job and want to do another project when you finally get the money to do it. We love Dennis and David and Angelus Pavers for having such wonderful customer service to do it all for me and my 83 years old Mama-san! read more

The quality of pavers is far superior than any of the others out there. Cost is about the same so do yourself a favor and only use Angelus pavers they will save you the troubles in the long run.
