Brought my own gear to get installed. Double din head unit, speakers and an amp. Very pleased with the results. Also, I was interested in a backup cam that his shop supplied. After the install, I checked everything out and it seemed great. Too bad I didn't notice that the backup cam image was reversed until I got back home. The image is supposed to look like looking at your rear view mirror. That's how all new cars have their backup cams set up, but I wasn't getting that. I went back to get it fixed and one employee was trying to tell me what I had was right and working properly... Good thing the owner, John, was there. He's really cool and worked with me as much as possible to get it fixed. He found out that one of the wires was not connected. Problem solved. Didn't have to pay extra for this mishap so I'm happy. This was a couple months back, and I'm still satisfied everything works the way it should. read more

Firstly i would like to thank them for all of their work. With regards to this place i will totally recommend them! I went in to get some oracles placed on my car (2012 Mustang GT Blk blk). They gave me a great quote on the oracles that was 50% cheaper than the other guys! Sold on those, came in also wanted tints on the vehicle and was looking at a stereo. Firstly the owner of the shop is there and helped me directly. He recommended a sub and a amp. I then wanted to change all of my speakers but keep the main stereo until i found a option to change it. Not only did he recommend against spending more money on speakers, he said until you change the stereo it wont make a difference. This is a place that cares more about the customers than just making money. These are the guys that you should trust to take care of your car. The tints are fantastic and my oracles i'm in love with! And the sub is amazing! Do not hesitate to come here as they will take care of you! The extra plus, is he worked around me work schedule opened early so i could drop off my car before work and then stayed late so i could pick it up! Stellar guys, stellar work and great ownership! I will go to these guys for anything that they will do and recommend anybody coming in to get there stuff done! If there was more than 5 stars i would absolutely give them as much as possible! John is FANTASTIC...his Installers are FANTASTIC. Prior to visiting this place I went to "Find it All Car Stereo" in Korea Town. The Owner Mike, although informative, quoted me a price of nearly 1000k plus over 5 hours of Labor time....this was just to change out my stereo and add new Speakers to my Old 2000 BMW. I was EXTREMELY discouraged and I didn't know if I'd be able to afford a system anytime soon. Well one call to John and he told me to come down and see what they had. I did just that...Best decision I made in 2013. I was able to get everything I needed for 60% LESS than "Find it All Car Stereo" and now my system is really good. *A Big TIP*....Call John or his wife before going down there if you can. Just so they know to look out for you. When you turn into the Parking Lot, just IGNORE the CRAZY guys who will try to steer you to other shops. And turn left into the Far Corner of the Drive way...and there you will find "Angeles Electronics"....Angeles is a fitting name because I SERIOUSLY didn't think that a new system was going to happen for me after getting that first CRAZY high quote. I've been coming here for a few years now and John is the owner. He's really cool always joking but wants you to leave happy. I see negative reviews from people but I guess you'll never please everyone foe everyone has a different expectation of how things should be done. I have 4 vehicles and they have done work on my HID lights, Video Screens, LED underbody and interior and once in a while things fail and I understand that but the moment I call John he gets it fixed and I'm on my way. No one is perfect but getting what you pay for is what I expect and I have no complaints. I've gone to other shops prior and they rip me off so I trust this shop based on my experience. read more

This shop is highly rated so I came by looking to get Bluetooth connectivity to allow me to listen to my iPhone music in my car. Was quoted a really great price for a USA-Spec BT45-Toy unit installed. I researched and canvassed around town and Angel's by far was the best deal. No one even came close so I came back early one morning on a Sunday and had it installed. However, when I paid I noticed the receipt said BT35. I asked why and was told it was a compatibility issue with the cables. I felt let down thinking I got an old model after being sold on a new one. I drove away listening to what sounded like I was in a tin can. I researched the BT35 and found it poorly performed specifically in cars like mine. One blogger described exactly what I was disappointedly getting out of them. I still posted a 3star review though because they were very nice folks and they did quick work of the installation but I made it known here in Yelp that I wasn't happy with the end result. The owner Mr. John Lee, who wasn't there both times I visited, quickly replied and contacted me to turn things around and make things right. He offered to have the right model installed and put in some LEDs for having to come back in. It took a couple of tries for our schedules to sync and ensure we made contact when they replace the BT35 with a BT45. Sure enough, Mr. Lee wasn't kidding about making things right. The better unit was installed and it sounded MUCH richer than before. He also installed some LEDs in my fog lamps as promised and he didn't even charge me for installing some TRD foot pedals I asked them to put in. This establishment really cares about its integrity and how it does business. It's nice to know there is a shop like Angel's that will cater to customers with tight budgets and will not treat you differently than someone who drives an exotic car or spends like there's no tomorrow. read more

I am super happy!! I finally got my 2002 Celica stereo installed and fixed!! I spoke to John over the phone first and he was very attentive. Ever since I replaced my factory car stereo years ago, my sound system was never the same. It had a lot of engine noise which is generated by the factory-installed Amplifier in some Celica GTS models. I took my car to 3 other shops and they could not get rid of the engine noise that was caused by the new stereo I had purchased. Obviously, each visit cost me money and issue was never fixed. John explained my options and was as professional as it gets. No pushy sales tactics or BS. He gave me a reasonable price and delivered on the final product! I had not had a functional stereo in my car for at least 5 years!!! I had just gotten used to the silence while driving. John is the man and his crew is fantastic! So, the story goes like this... I originally had a new head unit and speakers installed (in my '86 300zx) by another shop and within days all the speakers were rattling/vibrating, so I returned to correct the issue... a few different times, but the annoying sounds never went away completely. Then I decided to try a different shop. After bringing my car to John he said they could throw in some extra padding/insulation (I can't recall the name of the stuff). He said he'd throw it in for like $20/30. After 30 mins or so, the speakers were definitely sounding a bit better. He told me I didn't even have to pay him for the work done. WOW! Then, I inquired about getting a small amp/sub and he explained a few different options, but I wasn't sure I wanted to throw a few hundred more into the audio system. Then John came up with a combo that was in my budget. I considered it, while he attended to other customers and finally said... ok, let's do it. After another 60-90 mins I had a new sub and amp and my stereo was suddenly sounding like a real system. And the price was very reasonable. UPDATE: The stereo, which was installed by the original shop went bad (after less than a year). Fortunately, it was still under factory warranty, but the original shop wanted to charge me like $50 to pull it out & then put it back in (after it was returned from being repaired). I called John and told him the issue; he said he'd pop it out/put it back in for nothing (only takes a couple mins). On top of that I asked (kinda half-jokingly) if they had a cheap stereo I could rent while mine was out being repaired and he told me he'd hook me up... again free of charge. DOUBLE WOW! Beers on me... for the whole shop! Seriously, John and the gang are some of the most friendly, hospitable and generous professionals I've ever dealt with. Go see them; you won't regret it! read more

I called John and it seemed very under staffed. Rushing to talk to him on the phone with other irate customers I was trying to get a quote for a couple of items done to my car. For his shop my request should of been simple or at least a yes or no answer would of been fine. I don't mind getting a no answer is he isn't able to do the job. I got his number and sent him pictures and a brief discerption of what I wanted. I texted him the next day doing a follow up but nothing. If your business is busy expand your staff. If you can't take phone calls or take calls with question get a admin assistant or a secretary. But I got no response and a waste of text. They seem like they have good reviews but I talked to the owner and didn't even get a response back. No very good communication since there wasn't any. I'll be looking else where to take care of my lights. read more

Glad I found this place on Yelp. Great staff on hand who are truly helpful. Just bought a 2014 Dodge Durango and brought it to this shop to have the windows tinted and to smoke my taillights. First off, they did a really good job on the tint bit will be able to tell how good in a few days. As for the taillights, i wasnt satisfied at first because one of the corners had streaks in it and you could really tell when we turned the lights on but i let them know and they repainted it. Was told 230 for tint and tails but the owner dropped it to 200 because of the inconvenience. Because of this I will be back for any other stereo shops needs. Great job Angels electronics. I had HID headlight installed on 2009 Camry LE and for the first month they were working fine but ended having to return because one light was not working. In my car I could smell some sort of burning so when I opened my hood I saw that the cable of the HID was smoking. I immediately returned and he swapped out both HID because it was under warranty. Sure enough one light was not working a week later and I went back in and got them switched out for the 2nd time. I am not kidding the following day the other light switched off and he was as confused as I was. He said the previous to guys who installed the HID did not hardwire them. Great service. There was an employee waiting to help us before we even walked in the entrance. They helped me pick out the best quality stereo in my price range and seemed honest about my options. They set up the mic, USB, and Bluetooth before I left without me asking. I also decided to pick up some seat covers while I was there and they installed them at no extra service charge. There was a tiny defect in the covers that I would have never noticed if they hadn't mentioned it. They offered to refund me, notify me when they got another one in, or give me a $20 discount. I went with discount, because, again, no one would notice unless you were looking for it. The whole installation took about 2 hours, because they had to take the back seat out to put the cover on right. I'm definitely coming back here to get my windows tinted. read more
