I've been here a couple of times with my wife before, food is generally fine. Service fine. Today though - Alana leveled a baseless accusation against me claiming I cursed at her on the street (for transparency, there was a mishap with Grubhub which had me waiting an extra 45 minutes and needing to pick up the order instead... I wasn't ecstatic and all smiles obviously but there was no confrontation and certainly no profanity. In fact, as Alana was walking away after giving me my bags, she was the one angrily grumbling some nonsense under her breath, raising her arms, and venting her annoyance as if I had no right to be frustrated with the situation, which is really why she made up the lie to begin with: entitlement). The owner Angel then gave me a "courtesy" call to tell me how she did not appreciate this, how horrible my mistreatment of Alana was, how "not right" it was, and how she especially did not appreciate all of the profanities. She claimed that my issue was with Grubhub and not them. (I found that "courtesy" call amusing, she had time for this call but not enough for a courtesy call to let me know my food was waiting for 45 minutes under a lamp). I immediately called back after I saw the accusation on my voicemail transcript, vehemently denied it and asked her to tell me exactly what profanity was used. I heard her ask Alana while I was on the phone. I also asked over speakerphone. Of course Alana had no response - she muttered something along the lines "oh so much has happened in the last hour I just can't remember". That's because it was all a lie designed to make herself a victim. It was just her entitlement at work - she was mad and thought of a way to get back at me by making up a lie. I'm sure this has worked in the past for her. It may work in the future. She should be fired for making up such an egregious lie really, but based on the "courtesy" call I feel Angel is likely supportive of these sorts of tactics. Alana felt she could easily accuse the big bad man of verbal abuse with profanity and everyone would just believe her - and they did for a while. While I understand Angel standing up for her staff, she did so with absolutely no evidence. How on Earth can you leave some long chastising voicemail on someone's phone accusing them of cursing at a woman on the street and you didn't check for video, and don't even know exactly what was said? Alana is actually a dangerous person - to make a false accusation like this against a grown man with a family is absolutely insane. Parents, keep your sons away from this person! This is a girl who needs to be seeing a therapist or something. Imagine how nuts you have to be to make up a story about a customer then watch your boss call them knowing you lied. I haven't been accused of anything since like 2nd grade. Bizarre situation. No apology from the owner when it was exposed as a lie. Very immature, absolutely vile behavior. read more

It's quaint and the food is good but our breakfast items arrived almost 30 mins after we were seated. Then my Mom ordered a salad to go. When she ate it later for lunch at home, she found herself pulling a twist tie out of her mouth good thing she caught it before that sharp, skinny pc of metal went thru her intestines! I've passed Little Angel's Cafe so many times and finally decided to try out the Sunday breakfast. Both my date and I had the buffet, which is less than $10 per person. The food blew away any other breakfast buffet I've had - it was very fresh and very tasty. Since we arrived early, our french toast and pancakes were delivered right to our table. Nothing was disappointing - all of the food was very delicious; my favorite was the peach pancakes (I am still dreaming about them) and the bacon was cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The service was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Many of the other patrons were obvious return visitors - something that I also plan on being! We came on Friday and they had a soup buffet which was delicious! They had asparagus garlic soup, turkey chowder, vegan corn chowder, chicken noodle soup, tomato basil soup and chili. Had lunch today at Angel's Cafe. Researched and saw the variety of delicious sounding food for breakfast and lunch and thought it would be perfect because I was not sure if I wanted to eat breakfast or lunch. My friend and I were delightfully greeted by Alexa, our server and she immediately seated us. She asked if we wanted to look at just the lunch menu. We opted to look at both. They also have a soup buffet. There were 6 different types of soups, each one sounding better than the next. The decor is quaint; angels everywhere. The place is not big (about 8-10 (?) tables.) My friend and I listened to the breakfast and lunch specials. They all sounded good. I decided on the Philly Cheesesteak and my friend ordered the Heckman hamburger with a side of fries. They have a few hamburgers and she enjoyed hers. I enjoyed my cheesesteak. It was on a long a roll. The price was well worth the portion and taste. The chef came out to serve himself some soup. I complimented him on the food. There is also all types of coffees with different flavored syrups. All in all, the is a place I would come back to. I just got married this weekend and Angel catered my event. Angel did a great job the food was great everyone loved it. She even managed to make the Puka dogs that were a must have at the wedding. I We had them when we were on our trip to Kauai and she recreated them for me. She listened to what I wanted. She explained to me how things would happen on the day of the event. Cute little place for sunday brunch. The bacon potatoes are delicious, the bacon was crispy and we loved the 2 different kinds of scrambled eggs with salsa. Unfortunately, the breakfast wrap and quiche were sitting around for awhile so we didn't try them. We waited for some fresh ones to come out but it never did. The coffee was good and strong, just how I like it! The syrup for the pancakes really needs improving though... hopefully they upgrade to maple syrup. read more

Third place attempted this morning turned out to be the charm! The visit started out meeting Katherine and Haden-both very welcoming and pleasant staff! The table for two was prepared for us at a great location at the window! The atmosphere set a promising experience at this very quaint comfortable Cafe. The choices for breakfast was a buffet spread that included a variety of homemade pancakes, french toast in addition to eggs, corned beef hash, bacon, potatoes sausage-the works. I ordered the special-omelette with fresh chunks of salmon, asparagus, tomatoes and Swiss cheese. A true delight and great experience on our way back to New York City. A must try! read more

We had Angel cater our small wedding. She was recommended by a couple of people from our church. She was very helpful in selecting the menu and was familiar with our church where the reception was held. We had a hot lunch for 15 with a second meat and starch. Angel also supplied a server who was very friendly, outgoing and attentive. Everyone tried all of the food and there were complements all around. Based on the great food and service several people asked who catered. The cost fit well with our tight budget. I and several of my friends had enjoyed lunches in the small quaint cafe in the center of our small town, Stroudsburg. On July 14, 2019 I was hosting a family reunion for 80 plus people and decided to have Angel's Cafe cater it. Best decision ever!!! There was an endless list of available selections to create the menu of the day., and Angel answered every questions as we made our choices and made suggestions. The end result was a slam dunk! Everyone ate until their tummies were over filled and believe it or not, even with all the people, there was not one single complaint about anything.
