Brought my wedding dress in for them to add a modesty panel made out of my deceased fathers dress shirt. Well, you can see every stitch as they stitched the top front of my dress, it's all puckered and he charged me $40 for it. I could have done a better job. Plus, they don't take credit cards, cash only. Didn't tell me until I was already there. Had to go to the bar and use the ATM, got charged $2.50 for it and now my bank will probably charge me. So basically I spent $45 for him to ruin my wedding dress as you can't take the stitching out or there will be holes in the front of my dress. I now have 2 weeks to go and find something to wear. Terrible. My family has always gone there for our tailoring needs. My mother recommended I go to to have my academic regalia done. I went today for measurements. Literally would have taken max of 10 mins. In an irritated tone, owner said he was busy and I should come back next week. He then just walked away. Couldn't believe how terrible the service was. ** This review is for the tailoring/repair service and not dry cleaning ** ** I have not had any items dry cleaned so I cannot review on that ** Angelo's has been in Mentor for as long as I can recall. Or at least as long as I began having some items tailored or repaired. I have Always had great service when I've stopped in. Everything has always been done on time and with a great price. I've recommended him to a few of my friends and everybody has been happy and they continue to go back. My Father even recommended Angelo's to me recently not knowing I have been there in the past. Being in his 70's he's a hard person to please when it comes to customer service. So I think that says a lot. I'm sure finding somebody to fix his blazer from the 70's was enough to make him giddy like a school girl. read more

Angelo is a very kind, patient business owner. He is probably the only person in town with a zipper foot and the capacity and patience to replace invisible zippers. He does quality work and really underpriced himself. I really recommend his services! He is better than my grandmother! read more

If you know Angelo you know he is one of the best. My dad and brothers have been going to him to get suits tailored for about a decade so when I recently had to had a bridesmaid dress altered, my dad told me to go to him. When I went in I was greeted warmly and taken care of immediately. When it came to the alterations I didn't really know what needed to be done but I knew the dress fit me awkwardly. My friend sent me here as a referral to get my bridesmaid dress altered and told me how great the service was. The moment I walked in the two young ladies at the counter just stared at me and it took the owner a good minute to turn around. When the owner finally realized I was there he walked over asked what I needed done, when it would need to be done and then ripped the dress bag open. He looked at the bottom of my dress with frustration and said it would cost me $75 without even seeing what exactly I needed done with the dress on. Told me to go into the dressing room so he could look at it after he quoted me the price. As I turned around and looked at my Mom with disbelief that just happened since I was referred and going in with expectations of great service, I decided to walk out.
