I came back next week at the opening time of 10 AM, and there was no one there. I called the number on the door, and she said, "Oh, we're about seven minutes out." They finally opened the door at 10:30. She could not find my shirts. Finally, she did find them. The polo was not done, and the dress shirt was done. The sleeves on the dress shirt were three inches too short. It was my first time there and I will never be going back.

If you need a tailoring service, GO TO HER! Dresses, pants, clothes, curtains, everything. I was referred to her by my friend who had used her years ago. Alina is the sweetest lady I have ever met. Hardworking, humble, and amazing at what she does. After my first visit with her, she told me about her story and how she got where she was. She explained she is not a fan of technology, so don't expect her to do anything on a computer. She's still in the same spot on Larchmere, which is a little difficult to find. She is located kind of behind the barbershop, in the same strip as academy tavern. Anyway, I reached out to her last minute to get a bridesmaids dress that was unflattering and much too tight, fixed. I was stressing about cost because it was an expensive dress and I was trying hard to avoid alterations, however I was left with no choice. I called Alina, and she was more than happy to have me drop off my dress that day. Her hours are very accessible. I dropped off my dress, and I ran into my own client while I was there. She said she's been going to Alina for years, and have altered and hemmed alllll of the things for her - basically everything I listed above. This is practically the best thing to hear when walking into a new business. So anyway. I explained to Alina that the dress was too tight around the waist, the zipper wouldn't zipper, and the ribbon around the waist appeared too short. I was scared there was no hope. However, Alina assured me that there was a way to get around it. She assessed how much it would be, and to my surprise, it was very very affordable!!! Way lower than I thought it would be. When I went to pick up my dress, it fit perfectly. She took it out an inch and was able to loosen the ribbon. It looked untouched! She probably won't even know this review exists, but I wanted to share her with the world! She's the best!

I had Annie's Embroidery embroider a handful of shirts 2 times with an attempt to the 3rd time. The…read more1st time I don't recall any issues. However, the 2nd time I tried to have nice $25 sweatshirts embroidered just to find out they were ruined because the lady used the wrong colors. She was so 'kind' to replace them with cheap HANES sweatshirt and didn't charge me. I figured I'd give them another chance for the 3rd time and have a few more shirts done. About 3+ weeks go just to find out they weren't done yet. The lady said she'd get them done by the end of week. The following Tuesday I went to pick up my shirts but found they still weren't done! I decided to just take my shirts back and go elsewhere. There is no reason why you can't fulfill 5 LOUSY shirts in a 3 week/pushing 4 week period. I got the feeling small customers are not valued and are put on the back burner. The positive experience rate is 33% after 3 visits which is an "F". Also, they don't even answer the phone with 'Annies Embroidery', just a Hello? This throws me off because it seems like I called the wrong #. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.
